Dick Dodd, Tony Valentino and The Standells on Shivaree

Dick Dodd with The Standells, co founder Tony Valentino and Gary Lane McMillan on Shivaree sometime in the 60's, note Sonny and Cher in the background. Dodd passed away on 11/29/2013 and is best known for singing dirty Water, www.dickdodd.com. This video was part of Mr. Dodd's estate when he passed away.

I used to go to the Shivaree tapings regularly, and saw many acts perform in person, The Standells were among some of those acts, as were, Ike & Tina Turner Revue, the Human Beinzs, and Sonny and Cher, those were wonderful memories for me, but after seeing the Standells perform at a dance in the City of Vernon, I was a fan for life...you were the best Dickie! RIP!!
