Because red-lining multipage PDFs is one of the most common tasks we architects and contractors do, red-lining in Morpholio is the perfect starting point for any office transitioning from paper-based to iPad-based workflow.

Thanks for another great tutorial! 👍
There is another neat function I use often, is "Tap Toggle" in Super Ruler. If Tap Toggle switch is On in your Super Ruler settings, even your angle snap set to 15, 30, 45, 90 degrees, you can tap by one finger on screen to have your line in infinite angles dirrection, untill you tap again. Quite time saving sometimes.
Looking forward your new videos. Cheers~

Hi James, love the video. Question how do you manage the space on your storage available on iPad? Do you cycle drawings out as needed?
    Thank you

Oh, this is still a bit of a mystery for me. Got time for a brief story? I'm on my 3rd iPad Pro. My first one actually filled up before I even began thinking about storage. I was in a bind with a job to do, and had to offload some Procreate files, and I had to make some tough choices as to what to risk losing. Long story short I did lose some files, or lets just say they are somewhere on my hard drive which makes them harder to find and harder to access in a seamless way. At the time, the only way to store Procreate files was to upload them to iTunes, and I never did figure out how to do that. So I just kept buying the biggest iPad I could with the most storage, and I still have 7 years worth of huge .procreate files on my current iPad. I recently dropped in to an Apple Store and had a long conversation about it, and I was assured that these days, my/our .procreate files are actually being automatically and safely stored when we back our iPads up to iCloud, and though I didn't take the time to prove it to myself, I choose to accept their confident assurances, so I head boldly into the future assuming (=ass+u+me) that my files are safe and this is no longer an issue. So check w/ your own Apple Store people, but hopefully we're all safe )

Great one!! Your teasing me back into Morpholio!! I guess you could do a similar mark up in procreate? 🙂👌🏻👍🏻

Hi James. Have you tried PDF expert? As an architect too, I’ve found way easy to make quick annotations and corrections on drawings, while keeping the documents inside Dropbox folder or any other cloud service. This workflow lets you keep the documents always in one place, and available for all the team members. Greetings from Chile!

Hi James! What do you think about Procreate and morpholio on ipad 9 generation? Iam from Brazil and here the ipad pro and air are too expensive! Do you think those apps will work on the ipad 9 generation? Thanks from Brazil

Hi Eric: I really don't know? Did you try Googling to see what you could find? My expertise is only in using the apps, not the hardware specs of what they run on, sorry!

Any tips for getting the best resolution out of Morpholio? Depending on how I export a PDF redline I either get original quailty PDF and poor quality markups, or good quality markups and poor quality (fuzzy) original PDF. For example, export to email, Adobe Acrobat, or Save to Files gives good redlines but fuzzy base PDF. Export to OneDrive folder gives poor quality redline markup but retains the original PDF quality. All export settings on PDF and Best quality. Using Ipad Pro and PC. I really like the Morpholio interface but Concepts produces way better export quality...(I understand one is vector and one is raster but I still would expect better export from Morpholio.
    Any thoughts?

Wow, just seeing this super thoughtful comment, thanks. Tbh I haven’t ever checked the downstream quality of the redlines. Just curious, how did you discover the issue?

I zoom into the area I am working on, add a trace layer and scale it to fit the area I am working on and the quality will improve. You may have multiple trace layers on but the quality will be much better.

That’s very nice, now please analyze how much energy and resources went into producing an ipad.

Point well taken! To be fair you'd also have to analyze the carbon footprint of the printers, and printer inks, and copy machines we also have to use now, so who knows, but I do hope Apple is pointed in the right direction: www.imore.com/unpacking-apples-mammoth-carbon-neutral-commitment-and-its-environmental-vision. Also keep in mind that many of us no longer drive in to the office given what's possible to do from home (or a coffee shop, etc) But thanks for thoughtful comment.

It's here! Locked away in the brush tool you can find it. Wait, is that what you meant, haha? It's been awhile since I made this video and I'm sorry it took so long to respond. Hey...if you haven't answered elsewhere already, can I ask how you're using iPad drawing in your personal or professional life?
