The one thing I miss about these warped canons is that in New Super Mario Bros DS, The backgrounds will change indicating what world you’re about to head into, it was a really neat detail. But they don’t do that anymore in these NSMB games.
As far as I know, here are the statistics for the Warp Cannons in every New Super Mario Bros. game: New Super Mario Bros.: 1. The World 1 and 2 Warp Cannons take you to World 5 (The World 5 background is kind of hard to see in the World 2 cannon). It can be accessed by finding the secret exits in World 1-Tower and World 2-A respectively. 2. The World 3 Warp Cannon takes you to World 6. It is accessed by finding the secret exit in World 3-Ghost House. 3. The World 4 Warp Cannon takes you to World 7 (It's the only Warp Cannon in the game without a background of the world you're heading into). I kind of like the ds’ version more. The backgrounds in those warp zone levels showed what worldd you were going to which was pretty cool looking. It also kept the signature music for the main levels in that version. Using the regular overworld theme is I’ll-fitting and repetitive.
