Man, Toadette has come a long way since her first appearance in Mario Kart Double Dash, and I’m happy for that.
By the way guys, Blue Toad is still in the game. He's just hiding! To find him, hover over Yellow Toad in the character selection screen and press the following button combination: *L*
Edit: You can also press *ZL,* or *SL* if you're playing with a single Joy-Con.

Some of these are so cryptic! I've never needed a walkthrough for any of the other three games before this.
They seriously put a lot of work on the backgrounds
The games amazingly made so glad its on the switch now i grew up on the 1987 retro mario now my children have this and they love it , i still play i cant help it 😁

It’s called a “ghost house” not a “boo house”
Peachette (aka Toadette in disguise) is a lot easier to navigate in some levels.
The 1-2 secret exist is actually a reference to New Super Mario Bros' secret exit in 1-2, for those of you who didn't realize that.
I'm pretty sure that was just a Star Coin, not a secret exit. Even then, that was just a reference to the Warp Zone from SMB1

i have finished the game and i just realised i took the secret exit without knowing on painted swampland lol i just completed it normal now xd
The first time I played Which Way Labyrinth, I took the secret exit without knowing it and got confused about why I couldn't get to Rock Candy Mines.
When i first played i never realised that to get trough the haunted forest you needed to find a secret exit i thought i got a demo versoin of the game and i proceeded by accidentally finding the secret exit. i missed the door and was like OH CRAP, But o found the wall and secret exit

you can tell when there is a secret level on a world because when you press the ‘+’ on the switch to go and save if you click on star coins if there is a level past the final castle on a world then that’s a secret level and that’s how i found out about them :) ( apart from world 7 and 8 which don’t have secret levels in their levels)

There's still something I don't like about this port: No amiibo compatibility, no online multiplayer, ano graphics revamp, and Toad House minigames awarding the Super Crown (which only works on Toadette) regardless of character you're playing as, instead of something more useful like in the original (not to mention that stupid powerup will show up in EVERY SINGLE LEVEL when playing as Toadette, meaning that earning it on minigames isn't necessary)

Finally got my fifth star! I was only missing the secret exit in Soda Jungle level 2
Make more new super Mario videos because I love those videos and I love to know where the secret passages a web PJ can do
it’s sad that most of these secret exits lead to other worlds, eventually giving the power to speed run but at least one is needed.

Why do people say "bowsette" even though thats basically toadette wearing a bowser super crown? I mean, its RIGHT IN THE NAME: toad-ETTE, so basicly it might be changed (bowsette's name) to powser (because if u add L to powser then that is what people might think of doing to her

Try beating Bowser as Toadette to see Princess Peaches reaction before you fight him, it's interesting to see. Yet after you win she's fine, go figure. (Make sure you face him wearing the crown power-up though in other words, start the fight as Peachette)

How are you able to play the Princess character in this game ? Is this for the Nintendo switch version ???
Yes. Toadette and Nabbit are not available in the Wii U version (even though you can play as Nabbit in New Super Luigi U).

Fact: there is another secret flag pole wich is on 4th world somewhere and if you enter that level, you start at a wall with a pipe. Fly as flying P head to the top and just run until you see the secret flag

So I've found and beat all secret exits and I'm missing one flag but I cant find it and I've already done soda jungle 4 and 5 normal so idk what to do
Same. It would be really nice if nintendo had an indication on which levels have secret exits like smw so it wouldn’t be like finding a needle in a haystack. I’ve literally gotten every star coin in nsmbu and super Luigi u and cannot find one exit to get the fifth star in nsmbu. Somehow I did it in Luigi u but this is infuriating

How do you change your character for the first player?
In New Super Mario Bros. U for the Wii U, player 1 is always Mario. In New Su[er Mario Bros. U for the Nintendo Switch, player 1 can be any character.
I'm wondering witch buttons u have to use to walk walls if u have mini mushroom?
You just have to sprint towards the wall and don’t stop
