- It's a list made up of 50 Eurovision songs most successful in televoting in their semi-finals according to a percentage of available points. Every song's amount of televote points was divided by maximum possible televote score which the song could be awarded in the semi-final.
The video includes songs which competed in the semi-finals from 2004 to 2018 excluding 2013 (because of lack of needed data, split average rankings were published instead of split scores).
In case of a tie, songs' placements are the tie-breaker.
All rights belongs to EBU.
Two times (2012, 2016) Russia beat the eventual winner. But in 2008 they were only 3rd and still won. xD
And semifinals would have brought some epic winners: Serbia&Montenegro 2004, Greece 2011 and even Cyprus 2018 who I don't really love much but man, was it better than Israel.

Russia 2016 still beat the eventual winner in televote tho
And in 2012 was only 11 points behind.. and that running order :s
Agree S&M 2004 and Greece 2011 would have been epic wins :)
Tangentially related: here are the most successful automatically-qualified songs in the finals by year:
2004: Turkey (4th place)
2005: Greece (1st place)
2006: Romania (4th place)
2007: Ukraine (2nd place)
2008: Serbia (6th place)
2009: United Kingdom (5th place)
2010: Germany (1st place)
2011: Italy (2nd place)

OMFG! Joci beated Eleni Foureira? :O Interesting!
EurovisionHUN because of the possible points since there was more countries
@@nemaaaaa. no. It's in %
Doesn't matter how many countries. He beat her
Philipp19967 a bit late, but really, Joci beat Eleni??!!! Omg
I think he deserves
He was way better
'Nije Ljubav Star' is my absolute favourite eurovision song of all time! 🤗
Agree. He should have won in 2004 or 2012.
His songs were amazing
Turkey Manga and Hadise 🇹🇷💪👊
No songs from 2005
We need a 2022 version!!!
I think Sweden 2011 is extremely overrated and shouldn’t have done as well as it did
2009 results are televote/jury If I'm correct.. EBU never reveal the split results sadly
2009 semifinals only had televote, but only top 9 qualified and the 10th was chosen by the jury.

Aaahm ok. Good to know :)
Ik my country used only jury vote in the semifinal cause they didn't broadcast the show live xD
Why does Euphoria and Hey Mama not show up as tied if they had the exact same percentage in an even field of possible points?
Because I used their placements as a tie-breaker. Usually, I would use a lot of those, just like in Eurovision itself, so there would be no ties. But that is the first video with them since we don't have televoting results country-by-country from 2010-2012.
Yes Bulgaria 2017 is the best Eurovision song ever
No but ok
Turneye hadise manga
Bulgaria! 🇧🇬
Yeeeeees
I think if the 2009 semi 1 had jury votes, Belarus might have qualified. :) I do love that song 😊
Where is il volo?
Are u kidding ? Italy is the big 5, goes straight to final !
So Kristian should have won 2017 Eurovision instead of Salvador in second place, alright?
No, Salvador still got more Televoting Points in the final than Kristian. It's just that in Semi final 1 there were probably more alternatives than in semi 2. I think that both Songs would have been a worthy winner…. And if Kristian would have competed in 2018, Maybe the winner wouldn't be Israel ^^
Well, so it was just like what happened in 2018, when Rybak who was #1 of semi final fell to 15th at the end of final
@@eurovisiontszai9125 Nope, it was quite a different situation. Rybak won more because of the Hype, as in the Semifinals there aren't as many people watching as in the Grand Final. In the GF, the quality of the songs is the most important factor (in the SemiFinals too, but the Hype also plays a big role). So, he won because it was a "returning legend". Meanwhile Kristian won because his song was actually good and he was a great performer, so he ended up in second place in the Final
Алекс,как ты делаешь подобного рода видео?Скажи мне пж,пж.
"Watch my dance." More like "Watch me still cry over Greece not winning in 2011."

Bosnia and Herzegovina 2009
Albania 2012
Poland 2016
Norway 2018??
They were first overall, however they were third in the televoting and second in jury voting
Just Edge Malta deserve it.Norwey's song very cheap. In my opinion Malta deserve final instead of Norwey!!!
Lena Meyer Right, but that's not what we're talking about here. We're talking televoting points.
Just Edge ha ha maybe people voted for Alexandr Rybak not for song=)
What place did Israel 2018 get?
It was 4th in the televote in the semi. 83rd in this top.
4th
