Morgan Freeman's portrayal of God is exceptional due to his commanding presence, soothing voice, and natural charisma. His portrayal embodies the idea of a wise and benevolent deity, making it easy for viewers to suspend disbelief and accept him as God.
Freeman's nuanced performance brings depth to the character, allowing him to effortlessly transition between moments of levity and gravitas. His portrayal adds credibility to the fantastical premise of the scene, making it all the more enjoyable for audiences.
Jim likely wishes he could turn back the clock to the 90's and relive his prime.
When I was a child i thought Morgan Freeman was actually God himself
Plot twist: You're actually correct
Well yes but actually yes
that scene with evan baxter is histerical...
0:54 - God is always working.
0:54 - 7 is God's perfect number.
1:06 - When getting there, you climb the Stairway to Heaven.
You don't ride the Elevator to Heaven.
1:17 - God works through us to help others and ask for help to accomplish what He's trying to achieve. He uses all things, good and bad.
2:05 - The bright light of heaven that you see when you die.
God isn't real
@@PistolArrow76 - To each their own.
@@rebeccamichael626 nope religion should cease to exist people like you are why the world is so corrupt
It always gets me in movies - even comedies, how often characters don't react even remotely appropriately to Magic/miracles/phenomena. Often they may make a shocked face and then just carry on as if the impossible did not just occur right in front of them.
yep, God knows everything, but God is also gracious thru His Son Jesus.
what is that...what is that!?!?
Jeffrey Ingraham ik😂😂😂😂
Jeffrey Ingraham My favorite part lol

To say "you suck!" to Gods face.. dude you just won for having biggest balls in human history!
Alexander King That's blasphemy
Alexander King *most guts?
Alexander King not if you don't accept him as your God ...
Well it is Jim Carrey
here's the rub: he didn't know that.
4:40 I'm not much for blasphemy but that last one made me laugh.🤣
I could imagine Morgan Freeman playing god. He has that perfect deep voice😊
what if god was playing morgan freeman????
Im Alpha and omega.
That just says "I started this business, and I can end it."
Haaaa God himself got roasted
hahahaah..
Thats great.. Costa Rica
*OH HI GOD...*
“Bingo! Yahtzee! Is that your final answer? Our survey says... *_GOD!_* Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding!” XD
I LOVE THAT LINE!
Jackie McCann I was scrolling through the comments and read this one while he was saying it
For some reason, that reminded of Robin Williams. It’s just something he would say too.
Nice to meet you God, thank you for the Grand Canyon, and good luck with the apocalypse!
# OuttaNoWhere Oh and, by the way... you SUCK
One of the last few Gems that Jim Carrey gave us before he snapped.
Hope he doesn't end up like Robin Williams.
TheVideo Commenter You mean dead? Everyone dies eventually..
@@jimmymackinnon8474 Not me...
What's your opinion of Jim Carrey as Dr Eggman?
“Everything you’ve thought”……..dear lord I’m so sorry 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Man, is the line "YOU SUCK!" satisfying right at God's face
After all these years I thought I invented the word hugantic. Ah well :(

Jim was seriously elite level acting in this movie
god: I can do everything, there's nothing I can't do
clapper ad: I'm about to end this god's entire career
😂😂😂
I can imagine the casting for this film went like this: "there's only one man we can get to play God. And his name is God!" lol
The Boss, electrician, and the janitor. TRINITY
Morgan Freeman IS God
yes he is
Dancrafter 6 years after and you reply 😂😂😂😂
if i had a dollar every time he was god i be super rich
Nah God gave his voice to Mr. Morgan Freeman.
Jesus is God not that phatetic sinner...
Morgan freeman’s a legend😎
I watched this on Netflix and I loved it!
Such a lost opportunity for him to respond "I am that I am" when Moses asks who the voice is from the burning bush
4:56
"I'm the one..."
No kidding, I was just watching Matrix trailer when this showed up on the side
'Member when pagers were a thing?
Because then we wouldnt see that incredible face at 4:26
4:07 me seeing notifications on an account i haven't touched in 3 years
5:08 I love it when Morgan freeman said that.
"Well good luck with that.. I'm gonna go now." my thoughts exactly, the best way to put it.
"Everything you've said, done..." I guess Morgan Freeman was watching The Truman Show ;)
As a kid, I thought I imagined this white room with Morgan Freeman
Totally underrated movie. Not the best in terms of theology, but gets you thinking at least.
How the fuck was this movie FOURTEEN years ago!?
Matthew Battles that's what I'm saying
aint time flies
This is my favourite Jim Carey film I watched this all the time when I was younger
1:34 God holds him to this and never clicked for me till now.
God
Ding ding ding ding
🤣🤣🤣
Jim Carrey's last hilarious film.
And they say God doesn’t have a sense of humor. I bet even the big man upstairs got a good laugh from watching this.
If Morgan Freeman comes up to my home and says "I'm God.", I'll say: "Great, can we have Mr. Williams and Carlin back?"
We'll trade you Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un for Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
George would have a lot to say about a lot of things.
I'd say "can you give us back Robin Williams and Elvis and we'll give you Justin Bieber and Jake Paul in exchange?"
That wouldn't be a fair trade, on Heaven's part XD
@@TheStarcraftJACKAL Still couldn't hurt to ask! That's the only way you get a yes :P

after watching westworld, i cant help but believe the "god" indeed created jim carrey in this movie just to be entertained , which he was in this scene.
Joking aside this is how each of us are going to confront God one day.
If i were him, i just would´ve asked: "Is it just me, or do you hate me?"
This and liar liar are the funniest movies I think from what I can remember
I guess you haven't seen dumb and dumber
God is fictitious as all of us will find out when we draw our last breath and retire from this crazy world,
World was better when it was run by Christians.
That assumes there is an afterlife. If there isn’t, you wouldn’t find out. You’d just be dead. You can’t exactly think about things if you stop existing.
@@connorgrynol9021 Carl Sagan said it best, "The Cosmos is all that is, or ever was, or ever will be.

I know Morgan Freeman isnt God...but he should be ^^....
I'm glad none of us are God, and I am glad that Jesus (Yahshua) is.
