if you want to min-max this build. swap out the gauntlets for the solitude ones (gets you to the 51 poise threshold while only losing 2% damage, softcap faith at 80 and swap out the stonebarb tear (it only lasts 20 seconds and this weapon already has really high stance damage) for the bloodsucking cracked tear (gives best damage) or spiked cracked tear (if you lean into the charged R2 more). if you really want to maximize damage then howl of shabriri is better than flame grant me strength, although it does sacrifice a lot of defences. millicent prosthesis isn't very good here at all because if you stop attacking for even a second then the buff is gone by the time you hit again because of the slow moveset. so use one of the other options instead (i personally recommend the two-headed turtle talisman because this weapon eats stamina).

I tried about five times and then I used a silver horn tender twice and got two of them in a row. Now I have a power stance going with them.

I spent 30min-40min trying to get the helm the other day and got everything but the helm or the great sword.. RIP my RNG .. and that was with a helmet,talisman, pickled foot boosting item discovery
The helmet is a granted drop from the Knight guarding Mesmmer's chamber, but he doesn't respawn anymore.
The greatsword also took me some tries to get. Keep trying you will get it eventually! Good luck.

I've farmed this about 50 times and have multiple great swords and the rest but STILL the pyramid headwear and daggers haven't dropped! 😂
I saw a utuber rank the best dlc weapons and this got an A tier.
Back hand blades ( I use too ) got A+ and that shield you can attack with, even after this latest patch, still sits close if not the top.

Thanks for the compliment! For higher character level i would focus more on vigor, Faith soft cap (80), strength and dexterity! Good luck!
would this have any issues vs fire resistant bosses?
Haven't tested it against bosses with fire resistance, but you can always use non-fire incantations if you struggle against a certain boss with fire resistance. It's really easy to achieve that with this build because of the high faith stat that this build has. You can swap out your Fire Knight's seal with something like Erdtree seal etc. Good luck!

How does it fair against bosses with flame resistance though??
Haven't tested it against bosses with flame resistance, but if you struggle against bosses with high flame resistance, you can always just swap out the Fire Knight's seal with the Erdtree seal and use an incantation that is strong against that certain boss. We can easily achieve that with this build, because of the high faith stat we got. Good luck!

I don't understand why y'all put so much points in strength. It's only scaling E on the weapon. Or there is another reason ?
You generally don't want to put more than 80 points in faith because of diminishing-returns (soft cap) at levels: 20, 50, 80. So thats why i spread the points more towards strength, and on a higher character level more towards dexterity also.

An actual reason why is that the stats also control your resistances and defense. Most strength for more physical defense and resistance to slash,pierce,strike. I think, something like that, but each one controls a whole section of your defensive field. When you are doing a level open up the whole page with the details of your defensive stats, then add a level to strength and see what goes up, then dex, then int, and faith, arcane ECT. They all do other stuff besides damage scaling. Higher levels you really learn into like poison immunity and things like that for comfort of life ...lol
