Mafia Memories - Henry Hill Revistied

- Опубликовано: 2 ноя 2024
- An interview with Henry Hill, former Mafia associate and FBI informant. Mr. Hill was the inspiration for the book "Wiseguy" (authored by Nicholas Pileggi), and the 1990 Martin Scorsese film "Goodfellas". He was portrayed in that film by Ray Liotta.
Say what you will about him but he’s a fascinating storyteller and story’s he has.
(Rip) Henry Hill..Brilliant storyteller & writer..
I know imagine if they made a movie about his life in the mob
no wonder Hill could never stay sober right til the end... carrying all those demons around with him.
William Sauer - you hit the nail on the head here.
I mean he was getting high on his own supply. He was exposed to it because of his coke ring so it was inevitable
@@TheEpicProjects300K he said in a different interview that he did do coke but he was actually selling heroin, they changed it to coke for the movie for some reason.
@@TheEpicProjects300K The getting high and being drunk came after he flipped sides.
He is on heroin in this video, eyes are fluttering
So glad you did these interviews before he died. Henry was really a fascinating guy with a crazy life. RIP
Nothing fascinating about a rat coward just tryna save his own as bu using that he's doing it for his family blah blah
Tú hubieras sido muy valiente???? Quizás la rata eres tú!!! Estoy seguro que si..

@inyourgranmaass3605 okay there cream cakes.

"Fascinating guy", more like lying rat fuck.
You know what, Henry is actually one of the few who has been honest about the Mafia.
He is honestly a rat too. I would end him with my bare hands irl
It's well known he exaggerated on many stories!
Henry says in this interview that he never whacked anybody. However, on the Howard Stern show he admitted that he killed 3 people.
Henry was high as two Georgia pine tress here man and in most places...check out the stern stuff. He was drunk as shit all the time.
his stories are lies
Henry is not drunk or high here. He's tired of telling this story. Just imagine how many times he had to tell this story
+Austin McMahon Oh yeah , but given his tolerance from over use it likely had no effect on his grasp of the facts .
Henry proved the old Capo Regimes right about one thing . The junk was bad for the mob in the end . And junkies do not care about Omerta ( sp. not in the last familiar with Italian grammar )
probably popped a few oxys plus the beer.....
Hes tired and that cough hes still a smoker doesnt help
Anthony Capone
I've seen dozens of interviews w him He's been tired of telling the story for awhile. Hes drunk or buzzed here. It's probably mixture of being tired and alcohol.
The look in his eyes is revealing. His past troubled him deeply.
@Christine Carr not true at all. Its fairly obvious hes bothered by his past.
@Christine Carr sociopaths act very differently. You can do terrible things and not be a sociopath. Tommy may have been.
He's just hopped up.
I think he is just a little drunk lol
I drank a beer with him at San Manuel casino! Poor guy was an emotional wreck!
"poor guy"??!! WTF are you on bro??! He's a con and a killer, he'd stick a shank up your nose if he thought he could score something. Get real!
All you fuckers who think Henry's a reluctant con have NEVER spent a single minute around these guys. I have PLENTY of years, you dumb fucks need to grow the fuck up.
~'()'~
@@bronzesnake7004 You might be forgetting one thing. He wanted out by running Robert's lounge but there were wiseguys everywhere. It was also when Jimmy and Tommy whacked Billy Batts that he was actually disgusted and wanted out, but you know the circumstances around that murder (how he was a made guy and they didn't have a sit down)
@@TheEpicProjects300K Hey Nick
Look, have you spent any time around "wise guys"? They can be the most awesome, lovable, funny great guys you ever met! I had family in this world!
They get in for a couple of reasons - some are born into it, most want in because they love the lifestyle and they're greedy!
They murder their own family!! Not for "honor" that is pure bulshit! The guys at the top order murders when they think they're own asses are either getting cheated by the underlings, or they fear getting pinched!
And the guys doing the murders don't do it for "honor" they do it because they know if they don't it's their turn! Do you know how many wise guys have murdered they own brothers? Fathers? It's FEAR!! That's why a brother will murder his own brother or father, FEAR!!
That's why a made guy or associate like Henry wants out, not because he's horrified by the violence, the life is start to end violence! If he didn't like violence why did he get in?
He wanted out when he realised he was on the chopping block!
My original post here was in response to the dope who said Henry wasn't drunk or high in this interview, he was tired...for fuck sakes! LOL!!
Then this guy says he had a drink with Henry and "he was a wreck, the POOR guy" WTF!??
It makes me laugh when ignorant dummies feel sorry for people like Henry Hill!! Henry laughed at stupidity like that! and so do I!
That's all I'm saying here Nick. Don't be gullible, wise guys are nobody's "friend" they're not "nice guys" they'll take your life if they think they can get a few bucks out of it, or if they're told to do it.
Do you think one of those guys would think "oh poor guy" when they stick a meat skewer in the back of his head?
Come on.
Take care Nick
Jack
@@bronzesnake7004 I appreciate the insight. Everyone gets entertained by the suits and the glamour but I learn a lot from interviews with guys like Henry and Michael Franzese. For sure, if there's one thing I've learnt from Scorsese's works is that you just can't trust anyone. Like you said (and Goodfellas is by far the best example), they're your friend one minute and the next they'll whack you
Bronzesnake are you trying t say you’ve spent a lot of time around the mob 😂😂 fuck off you keyboard warrior 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Its easy to point the finger at someone and make vile remarks ! However none of us on the outside can ever know what its really like to live that guys life! That was an interesting interview for sure.....
I agree with you 100% and I’ll tell you this if any of us were in the same spot we would flip too. I’m former law-enforcement and I know all the tactics
@@richardanderson8135 Absolutely Richard 💯
I met Henry Hill in California years ago . This guy really got around , lol .
He use to hang around a motel in Santa Monica. At night he would hit up McArthur Park to make some scores. At times he would be at Santa Anita Race Track
Fantastic interview! Thank you so much for this .
I believe him when he said he would have shot himself before turning informant but when you talk about killing your kids and wife then all bets are off.
I love his stories. My friend met him and got his autograph in 2007 in Manhattan.
FABRICATED REALITY How much for an autograph from Henry?
How much did he have to pay for it? 😂
I've come to realise when you can make a living from simply telling your own life story it's usually because you survived things you shouldn't have, ironically though, it's also those same things that kill you in the end in one way or another.
Very profound and poignant observation.
He is a fountain of awesome stories.
Not really, man...I do think it's compelling, but those guys were lunatic animalistic murderers. I wouldn't wish that life on anyone.
The Feds thought the exact same thing.
I'm glad the interviewer asked Henry Hill about certain events in the movie , because i seen the movie over a 100 times and i always wondered about certain things rather they were true or not , good interview .
I personally feel Henry Hill did what he had to do 'there's no honor among thieves" it was either him or them , like he said he had to protect his family .
Good interview! I never get tired of Henry’s stories. He was sought after till the end.😊
They go on about the code but they whack each other at the drop of a hat, either that or you end up doing heavy jail time or you become an informer and spend your life watching your back !! sounds great.
That’s the life. Sounds fun right? Plain and simple, just don’t do it. It’s a very slippery slope.
Chilling bit, during one of Henry's later Howard Stern appearances -- possibly the "caramel macchiato" one -- where he sorta broke down, crying, sitting on the concrete steps outside the building, incoherently rambling about "all the people he'd killed" and how he couldn't ever get clean from that -- certainly seemed like several of the murders he'd previously attributed to others (like Jimmy or Tommy) were his own, whether solo or team operations. A disturbing bit of booze-fueled truth.
I cant find it where can i find it
@@temueraclones Two bits -- first one gives general history -- ruclips.net/video/x3G8-fQfFCw/видео.html -- second one, days after his death -- ruclips.net/video/ubXopk8ifY4/видео.html around 5 minute mark.
God bless your soul Henry!!! I miss you my friend
Just to comfirm.. i have done much research into this person over the past 7 years.. watched all the documentaries interviews and read all the books.. also had the pleasure to meet martin scorsase the director of goodfellas. Henry Hill did admit that he DID Kill 3 people in his life in the mafia.just the movie never made him out to be a killer.. in fact the movie actually was like a disney film compared to what it was really like.
I dont think Henry ever pulled the trigger himself.
Henry's probably right, he saved many lives.
met this guy was a nice guy don't condone what he did but respect him for saving his family by giving up the mob
Ra Eye nah cause if Henry "disappeared" his wife would go to the cops and say what she knew, then go into witness protection. They would've got rid of his family.
Ra Eye if they killed the man she loved she would talk. Anyone would.
May his memory be eternal!
Rest in peace, Henry
Henry was high as hell in that interview. Not tired ! I would be too ! From the life he had lived.
He was a drunk he wasn’t high
He's fucked up lol
Tired and drunk. Not high
@@rickyruddell2733 nah, if he was drunk you could tell🤣 go watch his Howard stern interview
Tied and buzzed ..
I hope Henry knew that men who could never last a week in his shoes during his era with the Lucchese family are judging him but are secretly loving the information he put out. It's like they resent him for giving them the stories that they love. I don't understand it. RIP Henry and thanks!
I would love to spend an evening cooking with Henry. Lobster Diablo. Then sunday gravy. R.I.P. Henry. A very flawed but lovable person.
GOD BLESS you henry thank you for your real life history

A good lesson for us all. God kept Henry alive to teach and show us all how evil can ruin us.
Bollocks,
Yeah that makes sense 😂😂😂
Henry kept himself alive by ratting.
This is the greatest interview because he was somewhat sober
This particular interview was videotaped in Baltimore, Maryland in July of 2009.
Please note that I have just posted the first interview which was done in November of 2008. This interview was titled "Wiseguy: An Evening With Henry Hill.".
Damn he's fighting to keep his eyes open lol
That’s called opiates
Stfu yo
hasnt he done coke? people say youre never really yourself again after.
Stoned/drunk or not, Henry was still very articulate and perceptive.
He never had the making's of a varsity athlete
Veal Parmesan sandwich, fuck you!
Wrong mob story/family.
I have the book Wiseguy that Godfellas is based on and Goodfellas was a great movie but when you read the book it makes Goodfellas look like a Sunday morning cartoon and the Billy batts scene was condensed to one event but it happened quite different.
Rip loved the calls on the Stern show
I am sure Henry's drug and alcohol issues where stemmed with dealing with the life he lived. I am sure he loved Karen very much but he cheated on her and tore her heart out. His children were angry with him and many wanted him dead. Not an easy life to deal with....
shair00 agreed! That and greed. He was too busy trying to please the crew and his habit, rather than take care of his family...
When it comes to drugs, it doesn’t matter if you’re in the mafia or not, you will start to live for your habit.
shair00 Karen actually was banging big pauly. She was no angel.

@dream eu let he who hath not sinned cast the 1st stone. Its all pretty sad
One of the realist gangster interviews there is period
I somewhat agree with what you said, but there are far more people (and more powerful) in the legit world making it even harder on honest hard-working people.
in the Howard Stern interview he admits to killing 3 people-that and flipping certainly did a number on his mind
he said he listened every day so i guess he respected him enough as an interviewer to finally spill da beans
Ok Dannie B you came through Philly again you had to come through before all the Paisons in my home town!
Can't get enough of Henry Hill, what a fucking guy. I never heard him mention Sammy The Bull Gravano? Wonder what he thought of Sammy huh?
Henry was sharp for this interview. He seemed honest about much of what he was saying, he was sober, calm. I'm used to hearing him be drunk and belligerent in old Howard Stern radio shows.
Hes high as a kite on opiats tf are u talkin about
Sober??
I know, I spent a good month sayon OH!!! and Oh Marone!!! after binge watching The Sopranos I must confess!
I've watched a few Henry Hill docs and its so sad how he ended up really.
RIP Henry Hill, the ultimate wiseguy
what Hell No Rat Jack off
One question about the film ive never seen him been asked or heard him answer is the bit where his wife wakes him up with the gun in his face
Wow he is a very different Henry Hill than his previous interviews, a lot harder, not as jovial
He is probably in pain on some meds. Not a joyful situation to be in.
And we are still here
Henry's wife knew how to survive ..by giving up the 😸to the right gangsters.
My dad and I did his security when he was in town for this and yeah he might of been a little fucked up.amazing time though.got vip room with him in the hussler.manager said everything was on the house.got a few dances from a stripper and she tells me I owe her a couple hundred....told Henry and he told me not to give her a dime lol
Time goes by so fast..wow! Tell thoes you love, you Love them !
What do you like Henry the leg or the wing
Nah heart and lungs
How come Henry Hill videos are always filled with internet mobsters commenting "FUCKING RAT" in the comments?
***** They were actually pissed off at Henry for making a good decision? The thing that's even more ridiculous is that these people were pissed off and giving death threats because of something that never even happened in their personal life and shouldn't even be bothering them.
I swear, the Internet is full of dumbfucks.
***** I actually looked it up just now. They were old emails posted by a bunch of keyboard gangsters who claimed they have connections to the real mobsters who Henry was friends with. But true, most of them seemed like trolls though. These emails are pretty old too, they were all posted in 2001.
***** Did he ever reply to any of them?
***** Yeah, I'm aware he died. Good thing Henry and his friend were smart enough to know these guys were trolls.
But it seems very different in these RUclips comment sections. People here on YT go to Henry Hill videos, actually thinking they're internet mobsters and insulting him and threatening him - yet they're unaware that Henry has been dead for the past 4 years. LOL idiots.
***** True.
He is just as a psychopath as the other ones... "I don't lose sleep over digging up Bats" wtf
I mean bats probably was a psychopath himself you never know but I see what ur saying
He said it still bothers him.
well to go along with what Albert said ya gotta realize how long ago that was n how much sleep he's had to lose getting to this point

salokin G he’s no a keyboard warrior anyway 😂 he’s fucking right the majority of the people in the comments are acting like they are in or were in the mob 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you watch his Howard stern interview he said he has killed 3-4 people. But he was super drunk saying that. But on here he said he never wacked anyone? On howard stern he went into detail on 3 people. First 2 people he shot in the back of the head and the 3rd person he used the Ice pick. (Like in the movie). So im confused. We know for a fact his information got 50 people convicted and some bodies recovered so there must have been some truth but im really questioning the movie now. I watched the Irishman and it got me into my Mob movie binge so i been revisiting all the old movies and googling around. I really hope Henry didn't lie about stuff. It's hard to say what is truth and want isn't with him.
I met Henry Hill in person in Long Beach CA at the Best Western hotel lobby. It was funny because he walked inside the hotel by himself and I recognized him right away. I walked right in front of him and said Henry . He paused back and I said Henry Hill then he smiled and we had a good conversation by the hotel lobby bar. He gave me an autograph and talked about his restaurant in Santa Monica. His moms old recipes.

Henry is high as hell, I ain't mad at him.
If I was that interviewer I would of said “what about those 3 people you said you killed on the Howard stern show”
I bet Tommy would have replied “they bit the silver bullet because it am a legend among men” then he would have Tommy’d all over the interviewers faces
He killed 3 people in the Howard stern show? We’re they the audience or the producers?
Hill was an addict that barely knew these guys.
He knew their stories and made them his own.
"How ya doin', Hendry?"
R.I.P HENRY
so this is how henry tomasino came about in mafia 2
Love ya. Philadelphia USA
Wtf is all that backround noise? why not have the fuckin interview in grand central station ?
R.I.P Henry Hill Jr.
Henry says in this interview that he never whacked anybody. However, on the Howard Stern show he admitted that he killed 3 people.
Many factors contributed to Henry's addictions... Ratting on his friends and being labeled a rat, horrible relationship with his kids caused him to feel like a failure as a father, and the deaths and murders he witnessed in his former life... Those feelings of self loathing will drive many people to self destructive behavior... Also doing drugs is fun... Henry was a wild guy... He liked getting loaded and having a good time... There is a reason they tell you to never try heroin and cocaine... It is opening pandora's box.
Wow he's so high on smack in this. He can barely keep his eyes open! He did a lot of scumbag thing. He didn't kill anyone. A runner. I pray for his soul.
He said on Howard Stern he popped 3 people lol
On the show they made him look like he was selling cocaine and snorting cocaine but in real life it was heroin that's why he's probably still high really hard to get off of that that's why he drinks all the time he can't get away from the heroin..
How many times can Henry reiterate why Tommy got taken out?
I grew up around these kinda older cats .
And reference to both comments so true.
R.i.p Henry 💪🏽
