I would’ve chucked a youi and chased the fuckers
@@JimmyGotRustled Yes Jim that is seriously aggravating when elderly folk hog the overtaking lane while doing 95km/h in a 110 km/h zone.My earlier comment stems from a Policeman that I know telling me when he clocks on for his shift his sergeant compels him to take the radar gun out & book people for speeding even if it's only for trivial amounts over the speed limit, because they have to meet a quota of handing out speeding fines or he gets disciplined by his superiors. That's priority & solving any serious crime cases comes after they meet their quota, if they've got time in their shift left.

Can we just all clap at the two sensible 4x4 drivers encountering the illegal suicide jockeys. Best response of the year. 'Did they crash?' 'Yep...Bastards!' Then just drove on.

7:40...that's why you always check both ways before pulling out from any intersection. The idiots are everywhere, and the accident hurts just as much if you're in the right or the wrong.
as ANY motorcyclist is taught and knows, fully.
Dont know how its in Australia but in Germany, you have the right of way even when you overtake another Car and the one turning would be at fault if an Accident wouldve happened.
If there is a crash in such situation - does the overtaker speeding mean they are entirely at fault - and if the overtaker was not speeding then who would be at fault? Thanks
@@svetlanat3198 After witnessing a few of these types of "accidents", the overtaker has always got the burning end of the stick, from unsafe passing, not drive with due care & a variety of whatever the cops feel like adding, just for a little more pain. Speed may be considered irrelevant without something to gauge, such as dash cam with a decent GPS.
The turner also runs the risk (but unlikely in these particular circumstances) of being fined for failure to give way to oncoming traffic.
@@_synt3rax_437no the overtaking car is in the wrong. He is on the wrong side and can be prosecuted for that overtaking manoeuvre
1:10 Old timer needs to head to the nearest motor registry and hand in his driver's licence.
And @7:50.
Spoke to an elderly lady who was almost 90 years old who told me that her children had forced her to hand in her license though she didn't understand why. I think I can guess though.
It's sad that it always has to result in this kind of accident before they finally realise they're not fit for driving anymore.. Potentially injuring/killing others in the process
@@jamesschrader9011 The sad part would be if they accidentally killed an innocent child before handing in their licence.

5:04 a question that gets asked frequently 😂
....and 2:58
0:58 Not the first wheelie bin I've seen hit today. My neighbour crashed his car yet again into about 3 wheelie bins. He was driving way too fast for the conditions, wasn't paying attention and took out the bins before throwing a tantrum . Kind of funny and disturbing at the same time.
It might be time to change suburbs....
@@pewjackman LOL. If my neighbour was doing that, I might put an anonymous report into the police.
This guy isn't married but his boyfriend visits him occasionally I think. I don't pay attention. The only reason I checked the footage is because I heard the crash and the tantrum afterwards. If not for that, I wouldn't have even known / looked.
He's certainly got anger issues and throws the occasional tantrum at various hours . First time I met him he was beating at my front door in a threatening manner.
@@pewjackman I had a neighbour like that once. Called the cops each time. Arseholes like that need to be known to police.
Time to call the cops at that point
@@roadmonitoroz Nice introduction to the neighbourhood! Please tell me you put him on his sad & sorry arse! 🤣
00:30 I know of at least two fatal 'single vehicle' accidents at spots (corners) I regularly see drivers on the wrong side of the road. I can't help but wonder how many fwts like we see on here, have actually gotten away with, essentially, manslaughter because the victim didn't have a dashcam. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone. Stay safe out there 🤞🍀
Looked like they did it on purpose the asshole
He was staright up aiming for the driver some people are mental
Had one drift over the line at 100km/h years ago, there is no where to go.Frightened the hell out of me & about 4 cars that were following.
Colleague at a place I hired myself out to had two crushed legs because of a driver on the phone coming down the wrong way. He denied it and police refused to get a warrant to seize his phone records, so it was written off as something of which the guilt couldn't be established.
It cost her her job (which required long times of standing) and even when I was there two years later at the new job she had found (working for a temp agency) she still had trouble with relatively small walks like to the other side of a sizeable building.
Her travel costs were also huge since she had to drive everywhere and pay big parking fees (inner city workplace), because the option of having to stand in public transport was simply not available, plus of course public transport requires lots of waking.
I'm a passionate hater of being stuck in trains and buses, prefer to drive, but even I took the train down there because 40'ish parking fees per day plus 60-90 minutes in traffic jams, is just too much. And knowing the average wage levels there she made about 130-140 per day, so that's over a quarter of her income spent just parking.
I've long argued that causing an accident while on the phone should be subject to a rule where police is compelled to open criminal proceedings, with phone use counting as intent to commit GBH or manslaughter. If a few phone users get a few years in prison, that'll deter the rest of them. Now they just pay the weak fine if they get it every now and then, and keep on calling, texting, reading, etc.
@@nvelsen1975 Yes. I'm sorry to hear that. Surviving an accident can still be traumatic and life changing. It makes me angry that so many only seem worried about the inconvenience of a fine and not what they can destroy. It's clearly too easy to get and keep a license here these days
The driver in the second clip had great vehicle control, didn’t over steer or brake too hard. 👍
Ah yes, Sarcasm, the lowest form of humor (only understood by the intelligent). 👍
@@Chrisamic I wasn’t being sarcastic
Not sure if Chris is serious but I don't think the driver did too badly considering the oncoming car was fully in his lane when they passed. It would've been better if he stayed on the left side but he avoided what could've been a nasty head on so I'd take that as a win.
@@TheTruthKiwi He came out unscathed, that’s definitely win enough especially when he did do nothing wrong and the other guy was being a dangerous moron.

As a Camry owner, I COULD be offended by that... But Aussie Camry drivers give the rest of us a bad rep, and they deserve to be called out on it.

@PPP 414 Good idea, lest you get the bum's rush.
@@ppp4149 Based on your standards for treating women, looks like you too are over the age limit for safe driving.
There's a few in here that shows it should be mandatory to be re-tested for your licence when you reach a certain statistical age.
I would be happy to have that set at every five years once you get your open licence.
Way too many people either have forgotten or never learned the rules properly in the first place.
Having to go for a medical annually after 75 would be sufficient; doddery geriatrics won't pass a medical once doctors realise they could be held liable for allowing unsafe drivers on the road.
@@petesmitt Most states already have that in place, but not certain whether they start at the same age.
However, if you have a chronic illness or condition, an annual 'Fitness to drive' form has to filled out by your doctor, especially if you're on Centrelink benefits!
1:10 is a perfect example.
@@stevie-ray2020 also some states, bus drivers of any age have to pass a medical every 3 years.

It's sad but we have a big problem with the elderly unable to drive properly. Just the other day, I was sitting in my car and was hit by an empty car that an elderly man had literally forgotten to turn off and put into park. It's so dangerous.
More dangerous than those idiots on their phones, overtaking on unbroken lines or driving the wrong way onto an expressway.

Those dangerous & impatient overtakes or veers onto oncoming traffic in the bush are the most unsettling. It screams possible multiple fatality. That's just how White Australians act. A cancer that takes what it wants and never once stops to think of others. Can't be replaced soon enough.
3:10 one of my pet peeves is missing a light because someone is slow or being stupid and they make it through
Yeah, when there is a green arrow, and the driver at the head of the line takes four seconds to get moving, and the people at the end of the line miss out and have to wait for the next cycle. That is annoying.

Some of these people who end up on the wrong side of the road are from left hand drive countries, which happens to be most of the world. Once you have been driving on one side of the road for many many years it’s very easy to make a mistake like this. especially when you are not concentrating.
