Great, great,great video! I think I will try the Melanin system when it is restocked, especially since my daughter is liking her twist/ outs while we are having mild weather here in Texas! I need that loc soc in my life!
You're very fortunate to be able to sustain your twistout results using a liquid (aloe) refresher. If I use a liquid on my twist/braidouts I lose most of my definition. My hair swells and starts to tangle.
2nd day hair was amazing! I thought having the ends tucked into the bun instead of wearing it in a puff or pineapple would disturb the definition. I love my Loc Soc. It's very convenient on lazy nights for keeping definition. Do you ever wear the Loc Soc as a hair accessory? Please consider the herbal oil from Green Beauty as well. It's infused with all kinds of good stuff.
You guys are blessed, when you take your hair down it shakes and had movement, when I take my hair down I get no movement what so ever, if I don't manipulate my hair it sticks straight out.

The first hit of caffeine...yes 🙂. How many times a week do you run? How far? Also I know you run marathons I’m participating in my first marathon (1/2marathon) in May and I despise running, but I made it a goal this year to run more. Any suggestions on how to train?!
This video was SO helpful. I haven’t fully mastered a good wash n go but I do love me a good twistout. Seeing how you preserved it through the week with exercise gave me good ideas and tips that I plan to use the next time I wash and twistout. Thank you!!!

Do you deep condition? Your hair could be suffering from dryness

At this point I just run any miles or days I want, no set schedule. I like Hal Higdon plans for race training.

When my hair was shorter, I would pull it into two puffs.
When it was too short for two puffs, I would just put a headband on to keep it out my face
