👉🏾RECIPE
Ingredients
2 bell peppers
1/4 white onion - diced
1/2 cup brown lentils - uncooked
1/3 cup white rice - uncooked
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp minced garlic
1 1/2 tsp bouillon
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
3/4 cup pasta sauce
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese *optional
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic
2 and 2/3 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp oil
Prep
- cook rice in with 2/3 cup water and 1/2 tsp bouillon
- cook rinsed lentils in garlic clove, 2 cups water, bay leaf, cumin, pepper, oregano, 1 tsp bouillon
- once done, season lentils with 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- cut the tops off of the bell peppers and place them in boiling water for 3 minutes
- in a saute pan, cook diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic over medium heat until translucent
- add Italian seasoning and stir for 30 seconds
- add lentils and rice, stir to combine ingredients
- add pasta sauce and stir to combine
- turn off the heat and add cheese
- stuff peppers with lentil mixture
- place peppers in an oven oven-safe dish, cover with foil, and bake for 15 minutes
- remove from oven, remove foil, and top with cheese
- cook for 3-5 minutes

This is what we need. Thank you for being a voice of reason. We need more people with platforms to amplify the message - especially the short term - long term strategy. There are too many who are getting apathetic about politics. We can not sleep at the wheel this cycle. This is a replay of the 2020 election. The folks behind 45 are still just as dangerous as they were then - but this time, they have had 4 years to learn/work on new strategies to take more people‘s rights away.
I really think apathy is the biggest danger right now

All these work life harmony suggestions make sense and are things I used to do, but often not at the same time - I usually only had time for one or 2.

I will be buying my linen pants from BR. I’ve been meaning to get to that. As for the political discussion, I can appreciate your strategic lens but I can’t vote for either of those men on moral grounds but that’s just me. To the Beyoncé hair & haircare, I swear ppl just look for reasons to hate that lady blindly. There are valid critiques that have been made and can be made but people are just married to bad faith opinions I fear.
