- her name was walter when she first came to live with me. Then one nite I heard strange straining sounds....only to find her laying an egg =) .....since walter didnt easily transition into a girly name?....& i had always called her my pretty chicken....i decided to just adopt that as her name. She responds to it...& when her roomie - Bubba was still alive ,,,,he would say it too .....
She really is beautiful (: I'm getting a Catalina in a couple weeks, can't wait!!!
Did you ever get one? If so, how are they doing now?
Getting a parrot soon. How did you train her to put the trash of the seeds into the other bowl? Thanks
You shouldn't be feeding her a seed diet, it should be a pelleted diet
Thanx Alex.....I am aware ....she gets a seed diet mixed with her Pellets... the issue with her is that she has a BAD habit of fishing thru her dish picking out her faves so I am challenged but feed her LOTS of fresh veggies, morning grain oatmealtype mixture, peanut butter with her nanners snack & other yummy foods......so she is not hurting for a variety of healthy foods.
Oh, OK that's good to know. Btw, she's beautiful, I have one of my own.
