This song will always remind me of my best friend Sam. He passed away in 1999 from cancer. He was 27. Sam was an amazing DJ! A few weeks before he died, he played this song for me. He knew I would love it. He never got the chance to spin this in the club 😕

My wife and I used to Dance around the house to a mix tape with this song on it. I used Shazam on it to figure out what it was called and it worked! We are playing all the old tapes I saved from 1996-1999…!!!!! 50 years young in 2024. We used to say the beat sounded like somebody saying ‘Rikki Fried Rice” so that’s what we called this tune. For 25 years. Too funny to have actually found it!

This sure takes me back to the late 90's when my husband and I would go out dancing all night long. It always put us in such a good mood and happy place. Those were the days. He passed away a few years ago but this makes me remember dancing like it was yesterday. Great memories.

I don’t normally have an issue with a remix, however, just leave this the fuck alone…..this isn’t a tune it’s an institution to us of a certain age group. A feeling like no other, hearing this masterpiece would utterly complete your night…house music at its absolute finest, and a hidden gem even to this day ❤
