Lybaras actually has Jungle as a Suitable climate. So it makes sense to take out the Lizards to the south, also Malus is an easy target early on especially with a Lich Priest of light to net him down and chariots to hunt down his firepower. Khalida's Skeleton spears with poison attacks almost hold their own vs DE Sadspears lol.
The ork update has changed this up a lot, if you dont deal with them super early you can see a fully confederated ork faction by turn 40-50 on your doorstep.

@@Robert399 Regard the three as 3 opposites, one in each corner. In D&D terms, Arkhan is Lawful Evil, Settra is Chaotic Neutral and Khalida Neutral Good. They can all wage war on one another with no problems, the lore has Settra having close ties with Khalida due to pragmatism but in the end they are all far apart. Excluding humans the Tomb Kings are the most diverse race when it comes to alignments, they often take it as the wind blows. Arkhan motivated by an insatiable hunt for power, Settra is just a narcissistic territorial leader while Khalida is torn by her hatred for Vampires and her wish to do good by others. Khalida could perhaps be considered the most benevolent leader Warhammer has ever seen, she offered protection to Humans, Halflings and even Dwarves while kicking out undead allies of her city to avoid the refugees being corrupted, no one even comes close to that kind of selfless devotion she showed at times. Then she made a practical decision to side with Nagash as they faced doom in the form of the End Times, it was either that or dying alone with no hope against Chaos. It was all for nothing, Khalida ended up forgiving the Vampire she hated the most as they died together hand in hand. The short answer is, yup ... the 3 factions can be at war with one another with no Lore problems, it´s not like Warhammer follows the time line anyway, many of the Lords present did not live at the same time.
You can consolidate province by turn 11, recruit 4 units then move towards lahmia, do the same again, move to the border and recruit till you have a 20 stack, use the 5k gold to get casket of souls then take lahmia carefully to ensure minimum casualties. High tail it to maharak and take the settlement then return to lahmia to deal with the rebellion... easy turn 11 or 12 consolidation. Then when sorted head down south and repeatedly sack the last silver host city for xp before taking on the lizardmen.
Never get rich? I'm on turn 280 in my ME Settra Campaign and I am the wealthiest faction. I don't even know where to spend my gold. My only caviat is the Limit on armies becuase you have to hoard canopic Jars. Dark Elves are having more stacks then me and that doens't make sense canonically.

It works well to be on friendly terms with them. They have proven to be a valuable ally in my campaign. You have a lot of enemies early on, of which skarband is one that has priority.
What a terrible video. This doesn't explain how to play the tomb kings at all. All you do is list off their mechanics. You don't explain what buildings to build or which techs to get first, which are essential to any campaign guide.

As far as I’m aware tomb kings can not confederate with each other, unless your using a mod?

Main settlement buildings increase research speed. But you will be very crippled for some time. So get agressive and occupy new lands.
