Thank you for this...
Keys player tip: If you listen in headphones you’ll hear a lot more of the synth stuff more clearly!
Thank you very much! 💜🙌
Fuller, are these the patches you personally use? They're really great for people who just use stock Mainstage sounds, but I'd imagine that with your producing and mixing background, you'd likely substitute (if nothing else) the Mainstage piano sound with a better sounding one from Keyscape and Omnisphere or something similar. I just can't get behind the Mainstage piano sound personally 😂
I am usually playing guitar live but my keyboardists have started using these patches. Last week we used King of Kings patch live and I muted all of the multi tracks, it was a glorious feeling knowing all the sounds were coming from our band live! The piano is definitely the weakest link in MainStage however it’s not $495 worse, which is what Keyscape costs lol! Also keyscape is a CPU hog. We make these patches so people don’t have to spend more money on third party sounds and it doesn’t tax their computer as hard. Plus once you mix in a full band you can’t really hear the subtle differences like pedal release, velocity levels etc... so yes we use these patches as is! Disclaimer - I do not use MainStage for the TV and film music that I produce. I use Logic Pro X. But for $30, MainStage is the greatest musical deal on earth!
@@brianmichaelfuller fair! I didn’t even think about hearing it in a full mix. And it’s gotta be cool to be able to mute the tracks!
And yeah, I knew! I use it live, but I’m a Reason guy personally.Haha I just know you can use instrument plugins or analog inputs, so I usually use Native Instruments instead 😂 thanks for your input!
@@parkerjeverett I have a friend that uses MainStage and his Prophet 6 together... it’s amazingly awesome! I’m sure this journey will end with me buying more synth gear! Ha
I like this but would like to see how the second bridge/interlude sound with left hand octaves on the root note and right hand octaves on the 3rd above. That’s how I’ve always played it and love what the octaves add to the sound. Granted I didn’t use this patch before. Maybe next time its in the set I can play around with it some. (Btw...playing it in the original key isn’t a bad thing.) 😉
You could play it that way but you may have to adjust the key range in some of the layers!!
Also, F is a better key when transitioning into more other common songs that are in C or F. Gb is a pretty rare key in modern worship!
Looking forward to playing around with MainStage more.

This is a half step lower than the original.
Yes, I mention that in the patch walk through. We typically do it in F
