How to Create Gloves in CLO

We start by importing a basic pattern and arranging it in the 3D-Window.

Super cool, I liked the examples at the end as options of what you can do!
(Side note: I might be wrong but for the first part of the tutorial I think the finger pattern in the middle has to be mirror flipped. I was working in textured surface and kept showing up as dark- like it was inside out.)
In the 3D window, select the Pattern Piece that is shaded dark; Right-Click--> Flip Normal

How would someone be able to create the velcro, I have a feeling I might need to fake it with sewing but really hope there's a function for hooks and loops.
Hi Anthony. Currently you cannot create a Traditional velcro, but you can create the visual and then sew or tack the two parts together. We have a few posts on our community forums that talks about this

The superimpose action doesn't take place as required and hence the simulated glove is unfinished. Have been trying this for a while. What might be the issue?

its impossible to get those fingers sewing into that glove! the fingers keep sticking out. its really frustrating

@@CLO3D Wow thanks for the fast replay! it' works fine! thanks alot.. and also when you said to draw a shape and use double click to finish it or pressing enter to end it without closing the shape, i can`t do that, double clicking or pressing enter won`t do anything and just keeps on drawing segments is there a way to fix it? or am i missing something? thank you in advance
@@lunatik_Ema If it is a pattern shape, you must close it by clicking on the first segment point.
How did you set-up the top stitch?
For the thick coverstitch I used the "ISO_407_Three_Needle_Bottom_Coverstitch" from the Hardware and Trims Libary. But I switched the front with the back.
I can't understand how you were sewing over itself, I tried and got error for overlaping.
Hi. If the exact same sewing for two pieces already exists you cannot sew it together again. But you can sew a third piece together that should be ok. You may want to watch some of our intro to sewing videos here if you are newer to CLO. ruclips.net/video/owWiplmx88w/видео.html
