Honestly, Heart in Danger and Talking Hands are way much better than Subway's of your mind. (and even Jenny) But wont say that Goldrush is a very good song. More likely a very good demo of what you can do with the synth they had.
Finding the band that created "Subways Of Your Mind" is amazing, but to me, this is the icing on the cake. Because of satisfying our collective curiosity, we get rewarded with more amazing music from this band of superb songwriters and musicians. FEX fan for life!

Guys, on spotify there is another artist called FEX and the song got cataloged under him, I don't know how royalties work when its like that. Best of luck from Paraguay.

This has to be among my favourite songs of the album. To me, this would have been a perfect song to include in a 80s movie. Also, I have the feeling that it was influenced by some of the songs from the soundtrack of Flashdance, especially the guitar sections. Can't wait to hear more from the cassette.
I made this comment some time ago, but Heart In Danger is around 100 BPM - the rough minimum needed to perform CPR. I also made this joke to my mom a few days ago: "You know, Heart In Danger by FEX is 100 BPM, right? And how CPR by CupcakKe is 104 BPM? (Mom mentions Stayin' Alive by The Bee Gees) Well, you can perform CPR to that cause their Heart's In Danger to keep 'em Stayin' Alive." The joke is literally 3 songs within 100-120 BPM range used in a sentence. You're welcome.
"The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." - Martin Luther King Jr. He wasn't referring at the time to Fex's 40-year-late fame but it fits.

Just finished listening to this track. It's another banger! I especially love all the fills in the beginning... classic 80s with all the layered syncopation piled on top of other syncopation and then tied together by that pile driving "big beat". Again the musicianship is quite high on this track... I'm surprised these guys were not better known in their day, at least in Germany. Probably they were known in their heyday in their hometown. I guess they must have had stiff competition from a lot of other good bands in their day.
Brand new unheard 1980s music still fresh. Smells like a new car.
Its like finding a DeLorean in a garage somewhere, only to realize nobody's ever driven it and it still somehow smells and looks new
