Lisa performing a Cheshir choreo really hits different. All of her Lili Film is. Especially this one. I never thought Lisa can take it to the next level but she did. And it literally made my jaw drop when this got released. Props to everyone who participated and helped Lisa in all of her Lili Film. And Lisa did stick to "quality over quantity" damn! Though their styles are different, I think Lisa and Hwasa of Mamamoo have some of the same energy. It's not a maknae thing either. It's that BOOM in your face POWER. The girls (her back-up dancers) whom she's playing the cards with, think that she's pathetic for not wearing any mask. Fastforward, before the end of the video, it is seen that a liquid is being poured on a mask, the mask was wore by the other girls, and the liquid is poison. That's why before the credit part of the video, the other girls are seen banging(?) their heads as if they were running out of breath. "They think I'm pathetic for not wearing any mask, without them knowing that the poison is in the masks." ~idk if my comment makes sense, but I tried to share my thoughts, lol.
Actually because they lose the gambling. The winning team took off the mask while the losing team kept their mask on and die. That's my interpretation.
I've watched many and I mean many kpop female idol dancers, they're all good and spectacular in their own ways but I swear to God, there's just something about Lisa.. I like it when Lisa lip syncs, even a little bit, to the songs she dances to. I know it's an artistic choice, but it just adds more to the choreo. Sometimes dancers forget that their lips can also be used expressively.
I love that you compared her to Aaliyah. I feel the same way. Lisa can, like Aaliyah was able to, pull off that kind of sexy yet in a way, masculine vibe. Lisa's video the song is called Tomboy. And thats what they both had, that ability to be sexy, sensual and glammed up when they wanted, but then throw on the baggy pants and the crop top/sports bra and be full of sexy swag too. Not many women can pull off both. Its part of the duality.

I really think in her earlier videos she was dancing really loose kinda how we used to call it spaghetti arms.
