I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and it's stuck by me ever since. When I made this RUclips name, I was thinking from my graphic-design-major perspective of a brand that will not only describe what my content will be about but will also align with the times, and y’all know that “Kpop stans” have been a thang for awhile now so... OG + KPOP STAN. (My love for Eminem is also relevant.😂) ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛

Sakura's fanbase in japan is huge, she debut in the top tier lineup (mv line) of akb48 when she was 14. She debuted as an idol in music videos before groups around the generation red velvet debuted. She's really good at standing out without noticably acting like she is trying to.
Its funny how you mention Sakura's Aura, since she was center when she was in HKT48. She is one of the three Japanese members in IZ*ONE, the other two being Nako (cute short) and Hitomi (cute cheeks).
La Vie En Rose, Violeta, and Fiesta are all flower themed, so most of the choreography was to imitate flowers. Violeta's choreography will have you pausing a lot as well, I cant wait to see it
Sakura got an A from the audition in which this group was formed for her 'star aura', so yeah she stands out even though she's not their A singer or dancer. She was an idol in Japan starting from elementary school (grade 6) and has almost 10years of experience and I guess that helps
But the ecperience in japan only helped her in Japan. when she came to korea she realized that her skills weren't that great

fiesta has always been THAT concept to me. its so artsy and glittery and unique and it also gives me chungha stay tonight vibes, its so glamorous and beautiful

New sub here. Probably late to the party but the girl ure asking is Sakura. Before Iz*One(before Produce48) she was already an idol in Japan for 7 years. So in 7 years especially with a system like like the 48G(AKB48, HKT48 and all their sister groups) that performs on almost daily basis, in comparison to most Korean members that starts to build audience experience or performing experience after becoming a trainee I would say it's a given that she stands out. Plus, considering her exposure to K-idol style of trainings etc. which definitely adds more to her pre-existing star aura(if this makes any sense at all)
just love how she gets caught up mid-sentence a couple of times while watching😭😂❣ it's literally how my mind kinda stops when i watch any izone choreography in general

it's really funny how everyone keeps falling for Kkura's aura/charms/attractiveness on first sight (me included), but surprisingly Kkura was never a center in any of HKT48's title tracks before (there was one where she was W-center with Haruppi, but that's it. No solo centers in HKT48's title tracks)... Kkura mostly centers their b-side tracks, which got little to no exposure in terms of promotion towards the general public, and that is really surprising for a member of her calibre and level of attractiveness. Kkura finally got her first solo center of a title track when she was asked to join AKB48 (the kennin system) in one of their new title tracks back in 2016, and then once more before she got to fully focused on her iz*one career.
I thought she had a shared center with Maeda Atsuko n Jurina(Is it Jurina or someone else. I need to recheck) for Kimi Wa Melody for AKB48's 10th anniversary?
@@syfqkuro Yeah Kimi wa Melody was the title track i mentioned in my initial comment when she was a kennin in AKB48, and Maeda Atsuko graduated in 2012 so it was waaay before Kimi wa Melody was released
