If Greta Gerwig misses a director nomination at the Oscars, then it’s gonna follow the similar path that happened with Three Billboards for Martin McDonagh, he got in everywhere except the Oscars, and even though he lost all of those, I think that if Martin were at least nominated at the Oscars, then it would’ve gotten both best screenplay AND best picture, so I’m watching out for Greta Gerwig, also you make a good point on the blockbuster director, is the academy really gonna nominate 2 directors that did blockbusters?
Barbie is winning adapted at Oscar’s mark my words. Too easy to give Greta and Noah Oscar’s in one shot.

I feel barbie is going to bounce back at critics choice and SAGS it might even win PGA I still think it could pull the upset and snatch best picture

I think Barbie is going to bounce back at CC. Just like how EEAAO did last year. People saying Barbie is dead are being way over dramatic.
CC is going to go for Oppenheimer because they tend to vote based on what they think is winning, and Oppenheimer is easily a frontrunner.
Or Poor things, because they follow a critical consensus, and barbie isn't nearly as strong among critics circle.
Why have you Zac Efron & Rosamund Pike not even in you top 12 for SAG. I have him on #5 now. And Pike have I now on #6 or #7

As I said in a different comment, this doesn't really change anything. Poor Things is probably more appealing to international voters than Barbie, much like how Banshees of Inisherin appealed to international voters more than Everything Everywhere.
Barbie is being extremely overrated this season, the film isn't an award-winning film. Fun but not award-winning at all

@@TheHannahcast I can get that because of the mood of the people but I think Barbie doesn't have the tone that wins an award in the serious shows (minus CC they love it). Even EEAAO had that award-winning tone, Barbie I believe will be seen by the guilds and academy as too goofy to win. They nominated it don't get me wrong but the only chance it has to win anything is Song and prod design. and I think prod design is 50/50
Barbie overrated indeed. The winner John Wick 4 for sure. Its more then deserved!
