Phil, after all of the refabricating you’re having to do for the restoration of Billy’s Range Rover, it seems to me that he will owe you about 100,000 pounds. 😂😂😂😂 As for you being done with the restoration by Christmas, no one cares. We enjoy watching you do something that you enjoy, and that❤ you’re good at. Life is short. Do what you enjoy. Happy Christmas from Mexico City. 🎉
Wow you are very close to fixing that car that Billy was so mad at he wanted to give it away. Won't he be surprised by your hard and talented work. Happy holidays
My auto mechanic dad would have been 100 this year. I became teary when you fired up that heater. I immediately thought about that cold garage where my dad worked for so many years.
You are doing a fantastic Jon Phil. I’ve done that work here in the U.S for 49 years. And we have the same problem. The after market parts here in the U.S do not match up well to the factory sheet metal so it is a bunch of fiddling to get them to match the best they can. So knowing your doing the best you can with what you have to work with. As you folks across the pond would say. CRACK ON, onwards and upwards mate. Dave from Maryland in the U.S.
It's nice to know that cars rust the same the world round. I'm working on my pickup from High School in the middle of the US, and it's so great watching you work on this old girl. Thanks for sharing it with us, and keep up the good work!
My family can relate, we have been restoring and fixing cars for several generations. We also race and build our own cars. I remember a college roommate saying to my mother, while visiting my family, "I hate Linda". My mother said "what did she do now." and my friend said " she is changing her spark plugs. Girls didn't do that sort of thing back in my day. My uncle also had a Balmoral Range Rover and eventually sold it for quite a bit of money. We are enjoying your channel. 😎
I am always absolutely amazed at your many talents! Thank you for taking us on your journey. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year from Wausau, Wisconsin
Phil question How did you learn to do mechanical and welding on vechiles? Did you go to school, or a relative teach you or are you self taught? It is absolutely amazing what you are doing.
I really apricate you working on the Jeep. You have said in the past, "for you, it is a form of a hobby and a fun task". For me it would drive me bonkers. But what I like to do was watch someone grow Spiritually over months and years. Saying all that, it is relaxing to watch you at home/Pub/Garage. I'm so thankful that you are sharing your journey with us. Walking with you
Looks like you've lost the bet with Billy Phil!😫 The organs working! Doesn't help that you haven't got parts that don't fit! Bit unfair to say the least mate. Good luck with the future mate.👍 🙏❤
This was really interesting Phil. I am not much of a mechanic, but I love it when you make the sparks fly and then do the welding. I couldn't understand the cut out bits until you put the plate in the car, then it all made sense!! It's just like meccano ! You are a genius. 🥰
Your going forward but rust and wrong parts need lots of adjustments to keep all square, three d chess for you Phil. Its sad to say owners take these cars places most would not dream of driving and are less inclined to clean the mud off regularly so corrosion setts in and all the extra articulation means mud gets deeper into frame.
Sometimes you have to fab it to fit properly like mentioned after market parts don’t always fit as expected.Hubs has done with frames and parts on a Super beetle and a 67 mustang . Can’t wait to see when completed. Sure Billy will appreciate it as I’m sure he sees all you’ve done to get it there.
this reminds me- today i learned a thing from youtube; to avoid frying the computer, disconnect battery cables before welding stuff on a truck frame. "the more you know..." : D
Phil not seeing any rust on the frame from sitting out in the elements. So considering the model would be easier to find the missing part in UK or do you have many there in France? I know import export fees but do you have to create your own missing piece then install it to the frame?
Phil we have tons of what we call junk yards here in Michigan and you can buy old pieces of cars or trucks used parts. If you give me the year and make and the part or part number I would be happy to search around for you in Michigan.
A tidy space really DOES help with getting work done!!!🥰 and clean tools too!!!

Considering all the other jobs you have on the go, this is coming along nicely.
Kudos to you Phil. I will never know how you have time for the house, the bar and working on the vehickles.
Thank you very much for making and sharing this fabulous episode! I very much enjoyed this! Wonderful progress! Be well, stay safe all.🥰👍💕💜😊
I enjoy seeing vintage things restored and used again. This Range Rover will be amazing when completed. Keep up the good work.

Love the upbeat music here ! I know you sometimes struggle, but we’re all behind you Phil ! Crack on !

You have a lot more patience than I do. I'm so proud of the extra effort to put in to be sure it is right. So glad you're posting more often thank you

Man o man what a puzzle that I could never solve. You go Phil!!
This is very educational not that I have any plans to do this kind of work. But knowledge is never wasted.
Hope you have a great Christmas and New year xxx🎉
You are amazing Phil! Is there really anything you can't do? Love watching you tackle this project for Billy. He owes you Big Time!
Great perseverance with these rust buckets! Well done
Phil ! It’s starting to come together! I am so encouraged for you! Hard work, but you are a miracle worker! For sure!

Great video! It's really fun seeing so much of it come together at once. Like flaming misshapen Lego.
Well done Phil,
Massive project, but great progress made. Well done

Looks like great fun! A job well done. 😊
You are a talented young man Phil! I am always amazed at the training my friends from the UK had in school. It just makes sense. Kudos to you!

Good job Phil, Range rover is taking shape
I feel your frustration. Some of your welding shots have a "mad scientist" look to them. Nice.
Thank you for sharing
Billy better drive this old mule after all your work!
Thank you for sharing cars frustrations and cars happy car times. Billie is to busy to notice with
His mess.your doing fine.
Love this channel Phil. I am a bit late watching a couple of videos, but I am pleased that I have time today to get caught up.
I am glad that you have stayed busy and things seem to be going well. Have a great day. Happy Holidays to you and yours
this reminds me- today i learned a thing from youtube; to avoid frying the computer, disconnect battery cables before welding stuff on a truck frame.
"the more you know..." : D
Love the way you all help each other ❤
Yay Phil. If it were easy to do, anyone could do it.
Well done Phil you've done well and now you can crack on as Billy would say.
Great job. U can do it😊😊😊
Brilliant job …
What a talent you have😮❤
Phil I feel 2023 was a rough year for you. Everything will be brighter next year. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Excellent progress.
Great intro tune Phil!
I came here from the Messy Garage to say the part of this video I like is when the garage got messy again ;)
so creative and hard working
Nice progress!
Merry Christmas Phil and all the best to you in the New Year! 🎄
You are so talented PHIL.
Gosh takes talent to finish that mess
You can let Billy know that it is his fault that you could not meet the Christmas deadline to get it on the road- he did not get the right parts!
Looking good ❤
Wow, what talent
Hi Phil. 🧡
Wow you have gotten a long way with this car
Phil not seeing any rust on the frame from sitting out in the elements. So considering the model would be easier to find the missing part in UK or do you have many there in France? I know import export fees but do you have to create your own missing piece then install it to the frame?
Merry Christmas Phil!
How the hell Can a so called off Road car rust so badly? British prime?
I guess you lost your bet with Billy then? 😂
Cover the glass!!!
Phil we have tons of what we call junk yards here in Michigan and you can buy old pieces of cars or trucks used parts. If you give me the year and make and the part or part number I would be happy to search around for you in Michigan.
Michelle the import duties and shipping would be crazy expensive but how nice of you to offer.
👍
What is the deadline date Dec 24
You know, the bet with Billy was unfair, right? He had two people working on the organ full-time where you're working alone among other work!
Crack on! Phil!!
Untill you start taking things off the car, you don't know how bad it can be underneath. You'll get there.
👋👍❤️
❤😊😊🥰🤩
Did you think of getting a donor car
Billy may get the organ together before the car but he cheated there is 6 or 7 working on the organ and you are working alone
😮😮😮😮😮🎉
Untill you start taking things off the car, you don't know how bad it can be underneath. You'll get there.
