A majestic, yet regal old bull thriving on quality habitat shed massive, 400-inch clues annually but left no path. The quest of a simple man who came across a set of very large elk antlers on the ground. Came his journey to find and study this particular Bull from year after year, becoming proficient in his knowledge as a hunter through the hours he spent in the woods. Hard work with some luck gave him an opportunity to see this bull. Step by step, with all the patience one could ask for, became successful with this one shot. Congratulations to you and all those chasing the dream.
That was an awesome way to present this hunt and bull's life to everyone. One of the best Elk hunting videos I have watched. Thank you!

I’ve never found a matching set. Much less several years worth. And then to take the bull is something else. What a story. You will be old someday and look back on this whole journey and smile fondly at the memories.

Glad the old bull got harvested before a tough natural death, and by someone who appreciates him so greatly.
The respect and tribute to the animal and the hunters that have run across him was a cool ending. Shows sportsmanship that is honorable and gives a good name to hunters. Maybe only hunters will understand but this video captured the feeling well.

I have been shooting a bow since I was 8 but never have hunted with 1, but you may have triggered something with this. I couldn't believe my eyes that he shot that monster with a mechanical broadhead....i went back several times and froze it and looked and looked again. Yup....biggest elk I've ever seen shot with a mechanical. Great job

I suspect the end of this journey was bittersweet. To harvest a bull like this would be a dream. But once you lay hands on him, you know that journey is at an end. Your lives were intertwined for several years. Congratulations on a very special bull Jason.
