Here's the defense of the lunar sabbath... If you woke up on a deserted island or from a coma, with no one around to tell you the day, time or season how would you start keeping the sabbath and special feast days?? ONLY BY THE MOON, SUN AND STARS...!!

As many pastors I have asked about which day to worship on, none has ever explained it, none. Thank you. I now know when to worship.
The Sabbath day happens to falls on Saturday. It's not dedicated to Saturday. It can be shown that the correct Sabbath happens to coincide with Saturday. All one has to do is establish what day the Messiah kept.
The Jews in the Messiah's time never disputed with the Messiah (nor He with them) about which day is the Sabbath. They only had disputes about what can be done on the Sabbath. It can be shown from history that the Jews kept a continuous weekly cycle during the Messiah's time(which means He would have kept it as well) and that Rome kept both a seven day week and an eight day week(which was their market week).
Rome's seven day week begin with the day of Saturn. The day of Saturn was the first day of the week. This day (strangely enough) at that time corresponded with the seventh day of the week that the Jews kept, which was the Sabbath. Again, this can be verified from history. Roman writers have stated that the Jews kept the day of Saturn (meaning they kept it continuously).
Making this short, in the second century, Rome exalted the worship of the sun and move the day of the sun to the FIRST DAY of the week. They shifted the day of Saturn to the seventh day of the week.
Therefore Rome got the weekly cycle correct by lining up with the correct time that the Jews were keeping, no longer having their first day of the week coinciding with the seventh day of the week, the Sabbath. They shifted the day of Saturn from the 1st day of the week to the seventh day of the week and in doing so, the day of Saturn remained the same day when the Jews kept the Sabbath.
The lunar day keepers are way off when it comes to the Sabbath. It's YAHWEH'S Sabbath btw.
MosheMYY M, I go by the lunar calendar, therefore every month Sabbath day worship is different. Let the moon, sun, stars be for seasons, times, and signs in the heavens. GOD BLESS
+keith So even if you're in error, you're okay with that? The Sabbath was establish in the weekly cycle, not from observing the moon. No one needs the moon to understand when the Sabbath is.
What I shared with you annuls completely any idea of the Messiah keeping a lunar sabbath. He kept the weekly cycle as the Jews did in His day.
No matter what, please stand for truth because in the end, that's what you will give an account for. Forget about everyone else.

MosheMYY M, I've tried to keep it as close as possible, creation calendar, lunar calendar, each seems to be different. The modern calendar is not accurate though, as it worships on sunday, aka, sun worship from pagan gods, hence Sunday worship. Thanks for not calling me names, as so many others have. I just want to worship on the right day. Some say it makes no difference? I disagree. God rested on the seventh, and I believe He put the Luminaries there for times, season, and signs. Getting the right day, well, is very hard. God Bless.
+keith It does indeed make a difference. The Sabbath was created without any guide from the luminaries, it doesn't need a guide because we see the order in which it came about. I can show you without fail that the Messiah kept a continuous weekly cycle and that He had no dispute with the Jews of His day concerning which day is the Sabbath.
Think about this as well. Even in keeping the lunar sabbath, you can't help the fact that it will fall a day that is named something by pagans. It will still fall on Saturday or Monday or Sunday, etc. That's just something you can't stop. It isn't about what pagans call the day, it is what Yahweh established the day to be and for the seventh day, He calls it the Sabbath. No need to get worked up by what pagans call that day because it doesn't matter.
In addition to that, there is no possible way for holy something that Yahweh hasn't declared holy. He made THE seventh day of the week Holy with His very presence. He did this from creation. We can't alter that. No other day can have what that particular seventh day has. He also caused established the week without the lunimaries.
No need for name calling, it solves nothing. It's usually people with egos who think they know it all, they are the ones I find often calling us names.
Just check into it and if you need more information about it, I will share it with you, no problem.

What a wonderful explanation, brilliantly done. And even though new light had not yet showed you the earth is stationary - a truth which all your more recent videos are now properly aligned - yet still it’s amazing how we are still able to fit that truth into the teaching, and it all fits and works even better! WLC telling truth that it didn’t even fully comprehend yet, but the explanation (when listened to by someone awake to the True Creation) completely works! That’s amazing actually.

The Lunar Sabbath Doctrine is a false doctrine. If the luni-solar calendar is truly the Creator's calendar, it should not contain any flaws. The truth is that there are quite a number of flaws. Here's one example...
Pentecost and Lunar Sabbath cannot be reconciled. In Leviticus 23:15-17, the counting of seven Sabbaths (49 days) is commanded to determine the fiftieth day when Pentecost will occur. Pentecost is 50 days after Passover but in a lunar-solar calendar, Pentecost would be 51-52 days after Passover which contradicts the Bible.
I have closely observed how Lunar Sabbatarians count the seven Sabbaths; they exclude and completely ignore the translation days and new moon days in their counting. This is a red flag.

@Dan C. I strongly encourage people to make their own decisions & don't judge them for their informed decisions. I do think it's important to logically view scripture & not mean on the understanding of other men.
That said, you say that God would never chance man even being possibly led to worship the moon, seeming to insinuate that someone is adding the word moon or new moon to scripture, that pagan worshippers are adding new moon worship to scripture. And, mind you, I am not saying they are not. But the facts are that not only is the moon spoken of as being placed in the firmament the Sun for timekeeping, the term "new moon(s)" were placed in scriptures at least 20 times, in at least 10 different books. And these books weren't Psalms or Proverbs or the poetry of the Song of Solomon. These books/scrolls were the prophets. From Samuel to Hosea, Ezekiel to Nehemiah, from Amos to Ezra.
Even the New Testament addresses the new moon. In Colossians 2:16, we read, Let no man therefore judge you in meat, in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days.
Notice that! You seem to recognize the holy days & the sabbaths. Yet the new moons that are in between, you dare to judge another believer for. You have inferred that anyone acknowledging the new moon is performing a form of pagan worship. So "do this in memorial of me" isn't pagan, but the moon being used to calculate months is. Food, drink, holy days, & sabbaths are okay, but recognizing the new moon for its purpose of being an indicator of mankind's temporary time clock just doesn't seem to make sense. I assuming that all of those things mentioned above you would say are activities honoring the Son & the Father, yet ironically the new moon isn't one of the things observed & actually observing it is taboo, even evil. Oy vey.
I'm not judging you. We are all brothers here. I am just pointing out that new moons are mentioned throughout the scriptures & even in the New Testament, following the giving of the remedial teachings of the Son. Our Teacher taught not to judge others, for that judgment will snapback at us. We'll be okay if that particular judgment is righteous, but what if you are wrong?
You won't be sent to the Second Death, destruction for simply not understanding that the observance of new moons to indicate new moons weren't forbidden. That's a learning curve, some believers have more or different minas or oil than others. But for you to wrongfully judge someone else for something that turns out to be correct would be a much greater issue than not knowing when last month started or which actual day the sabbath is on vs is observed for a majority.
Man's tradition is that the sabbath is on Saturday or Sábado in Spanish. Don't ever assume man's tradition is instituted by God without checking carefully. Most times, men create gods, then name them God. And Satan counts on that, because if anyone is purposely choosing to do or not do anything not honoring the Father, no matter who or what it is honoring or dishonoring, it honors Satan.
Read 2 Kings chapter 4 starting with verse 8. The Prophet Elisha prophecied that an older barren woman would bear a son. She did & he apparently had some sort of brain aneurysm & died. The boy's faithful mother told her husband to go get Elisha. The husband balked, "And he said, Why would you go to him today? It is neither new moon nor sabbath. (2 Ki 5:8)
Apparently, new moons & sabbaths were days that that Elisha dutifully interacted with people. The husband was assuming every other day (barring the appointed Feasts of course) were all Elisha's days off. And since Elisha was mentored under the auspices of Elijah who met with Yeshua in the Garden of Gethsemane, I wouldn't dare think that Elijah nor Elisha would have been performing any pagan observances during their time prophesying.
David, the apple of God's eye, spoke to Jonathan in 1 Samuel of being expected to sit at the table of his father-in-law, King Saul, on tomorrow, the new moon. And that he will be missed, with questions asked. (1 Sam 20:5) Then again, a moonth later, Jonathan spoke to David, Tomorrow is the new moon & you will be missed as your seat shall be empty. (verse 18) That new moon came (verse 24) with David's seat being empty. Saul didn't ask, but assumed that something had befallen David. That David is not clean; surely he is not clean. (Verse 26)
This means the future King David normally observed the new moon & it was expected that ritually clean people observed a collective meal together. Yeshua was the son of King David, mate, & King David observed the new moon.
Also, notice that Jonathan met David for sure the night before the new moon. Why? It was darkest night of the month, your month, my month, a Julian month, a Gregorian month. Under the cover of darkness. But more importantly, it wouldn't seem amiss for Jonathan to be walking about in the dark, since observing the new moon was part of the king's household. And someone meeting to speak with him wouldn't necessarily seen odd or of note. Just a couple of men outside expectantly looking at the sky, conversing.
During the rest of month, David & Jonathan's clandestine meetings might be noticed. Someone may have recognized David in the moonlight. Questions might not only be asked of why he was outdoors, but why someone else was meeting up with him.
Also notice that in verse 5 a meeting place & time for continued communication of Saul's reaction were made for David & Jonathan, third day at even(ing/dark). If Saul became suspicious & became suspicious, Jonathan would wait three days to communicate & it wouldn't be face-to-face. If everything was okay with the king himself, Jonathan would not communicate anything for 3 days. But at 3 days, Jonathon would shoot 3 arrows would be shot near the stone of Ezel, with a servant being told the arrows were closer or farther to communicate whether or not a change occurred due to the LORD, & David was to flee from Jonathan & the area for good should the servant be told they were farther than they actually were.
So the first day, the new moon day, verse 24, Saul, didn't ask. The second day, verse 27, he asked. Jonathon claimed he gave David permission to go to Bethlehem to pray with his family. Saul was angry with Jonathan, cursing him for working against the family, & ordered him to go retrieve David to Saul so that Saul could slay him. Verse 34, Jonathan didn't eat meat the second day of the month, meaning fasted in mourning for David. On the third day of the month, in the morning, Jonathon went out to the field at the appointed time to communicate the news to David. He made sure to take a gullible young lad. Shot the arrows, spoke the farther order, but once the arrows were successfully retrieved, Jonathan ordered the lad to take the artillery back to the city, so that the friends could privately say their final farewells.
If you don't think that the new moon isn't part of God's plan, that's your choice.
1Chr23:31 speaks of "the sabbaths, in the new moons, & on the set feasts...before the LORD." So unless you are honoring a different LORD, it seems logical that new moons are not to be shunned.
Solomon who eventually built the Temple which David had fervently wished to build spoke of, during the acquisition of craftsmen & materials spoke this if the Temple. "Behold, I build a house in the name of the LORD my God...offerings morning & evening, on the sabbaths, & on the new moons, & on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God." (2 Chr 2:4)
So, I will ask you, honestly, If God does not want His people mistakenly worshipping the moon or interweaving worship of Him with the moon why is the new moon throughout the OT? And none of the verses seem to be warning men to forsake the new moon when YOU claim that is necessary. And your reasoning is because the cyclical sabbath is just that cyclical. Every sabbath day is a rest from work, then a reset. Every sabbath year is a rest of land & debt, then a reset. And after every 7th sabbath year of a rest of land & debt, is the reset year of Jubilee, when land is returned to its original owner.
Yet, somehow with all of these resets, it is somehow completely impossible for there to be a monthly reset. What seems impossible for man is possible for God.
I'm not saying to adopt the Lunar-Solar calendar. I'm not saying to suddenly start celebrating the sabbath on Thursdays or Tuesdays.
What I am trying to express is that it might be a good idea to search the scriptures themselves more carefully before buying the mainstream traditions. The wide road is well traveled & many will be led to destruction upon it. Jews say Saturday, calling it Shabbat, Catholics say Sunday, Sabbatarians say Saturday. Does it seem so outlandish that though they are both in opposition to the others that they may all be mistaken? And their chosen day isn't so much the problem as their attitude that they are right & those not in agreement are 'wrong'.
I'm not going to go through them all, but here are a few more scripture verses concerning the new moon(s) that you might look up. It might be a good idea for you to check whether the new moon seems to in accordance with honoring your God. Being that you embrace the concept of the cyclical sabbath, I'm not thinking you'll use the lame 'it's been done away with" line of Christendom.
Know what you believe, why you believe it, & where you learned it from. If you learned it from men, even religious men, check the scriptures in order to be sure what they told you is actually true.

And those are just from a quick search of the terms new moon & new moons. There may be many more which aren't as apparent due to differences in translation.
@Dan C. The point is declaring that declaring the new moon as ungodly just isn't scriptural. Worshipping the sun, the moon, a fluffy white cloud, or your big toe is. Man's ways are not God's. Fear of being mistaken for worshipping a new moon shouldn't stop any man to abstain from observing one as God instructed. In the same way that being mistaken for worshipping a cloud shouldn't keep us from looking up for the Son's arrival upon one when he has instructed us to look up in expectation.
Upon each new moon, trumpets were blown to announce the new moon. If you want to say the first day of a month was actually the sixth day of the week. That's your prerogative. It's also someone else's prerogative to say that the new moon resets. The scriptures say six days (maximum) of work, then one day rest. So what if someone else thinks that at the end of the Lunar moonth, a reset doesn't occur & they have both a rest from the work completed as well as a celebration for the work that is yet to come? How would that be injurious to you?
No one I know who observes the new moon, bows down to it or makes little moon pies. It is simply symbolic of a reset, God's reset. The day takes nothing from the Father. If anything, it allows us to recognize Him a tad bit more frequently.
The observance of the new moon day is so similar to the observance of the sabbath, I wouldn't think that it would give so many people angst. I mean it's commonplace for physical objects like rabbits & eggs, or pumpkins & witches, or decorated evergreen trees & mangers, or dreidels & menorahs to be prominent at certain times of the year, but how dare a few simply look upon something God created without touching, never even dreaming to tamper with it, observing that a new cycle has begun.
You reset your weekly sabbath cycle weekly. Someone else resets the weekly sabbath cycle monthyly. Yet others, reset the weekly Sabbath cycle annually with the new barley aviv. All are honoring their God the best we can.
And if we are the Son's, we will care, share, not judge, & honor the second greatest commandment to the same degree we claim to honor the Father in our activities which we naïvely claim fulfill the greatest commandment.
The more & longer you live, the more you discover that you were wrong, mistaken, or not as on target as you thought you were about.
So I won't judge your Sabbath, & I won't even discuss mine. The Son said to do one's alms so the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The Son said, Go into one's closet to pray, so that the Father hears your requests. The Son said, When you fast, wash your face & groom your hair. Judge not others.
I will not parade the calendar I keep. That is between the Father & myself. And those around me, if they ask, I share with them & they know.
I'm sure that it has become apparent that even if it has seemed that I was defending the Lunar-Solar calendar, my point was more about not judging those who observe it or throwing it out simply, because Judaism & even segments of Christianity has claimed that 'this is how it has always been done since Genesis.'
That is what men say, Rabbis & Theologians. We need to seek what God says. And that's why the calendar on my wall, in my dayplanner, or in my head is irrelevant to our conversation.
Men love to tell other men when & how to worship God. Rabbis say that Ethel can't turn her heater switch on Saturday morning if the warm front left out early overnight, so there's an unexpectedly cold front giving her a chill or worse, pneumonia. Rabbis also admitted they'd rescue their livestock who had fallen into & so were stuck in a pit on the sabbath. God does not lie or change. Seek what God wants. And realize that the works of Satan often hide the works of even godly appearing men. The Son warned about the traditions of men, & not to follow them.

AS part of the fulfillment of Daniel 7:25 & Rev, 13:14, Satan has outsmarted the world by changing the whole calendar, installing the International Date Line and his false Papal Gregorian calendar with its unbroken cycle of weeks and named days. The Gregorian calendar was created by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582 and the last of ALL countries to adopt it was Saudi Arabia at end of 2016. WOW! He laughs while the focus remains on the name of the day [Fri. Sat. Sun.] and not on the whole calendar change.
Yahuwah’s New Moon Day [the 1st day of His month] and Sabbaths are not named days, but NUMBERED [8 15 22 29] in His Luni-solar calendar and observed from dawn to dusk when they arrive where you are. These can be identified ONLY by using His true, original Luni-solar calendar. The dates will appear to 'float' through the false Gregorian calendar with its named days changing every month.

Well, maybe "Jesus" did but I'm talking about Yahshua. He kept the Sabbath on the day called Saturday by the Romans. There's no way to wiggle out of this one. And Jews were still keeping Yahweh's feasts in Babylon, Jeremiah29 clearly shows Yahweh still favored them while they were there and we have Daniel his Hebrew companions whom Yahweh was with. Even coming out of Babylon, they were instructed to keep Yahweh's law through Ezra, Nehemiah and others.
In the New Testament writings, there's never an issue with which day the Sabbath was kept, Yahshua and the rest of Israel of His time kept the Sabbath together, Yahshua going to the synagogue to keep the Sabbath was a custom of His and He happened to be there when they were there was well.
I think it is best to turn a blind eye as best you can and run from these facts so you can have peace in keeping your new moons and your sabbaths they way you want to. Just know you can't escape judgment, no one can.

It is written in 1 Samuel 20: 5, 18, 19, 24-27, 34 that David was supposed to dine with King Saul on New Moon day but he planned to hide in the field for 3 days.
It is written in 1 Samuel 21:1-6 that David went to Ahimelech the priest in Nob and asked for 5 loaves of bread but the priest did not have any common bread, only the holy bread (showbread). The priest gave the old showbread that he had just replaced with the new showbread to David and his men which occurred on the 3rd day of the month.
According to the law stated in Leviticus 24: 5-8, the priest had to replace the old showbread with new showbread every Sabbath day.
Matthew 12: 1-4 confirms this occurrence when Yahushua made reference to this event while confronting the Pharisees because David and his men ate the showbread on the Sabbath day which was not lawful for them to eat.
This is Biblical proof that the Sabbath day was on the 3rd day of the month; not the 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th.

Just because the Romans named he day Saturday doesn't change that the day itself is the Sabbath. There is also the calendar in Enoch chapter 72 and Jubilees chapter 6 that shows what the creator established. Then if you look at Jubilees 15:1 and Jubilees 16:13, you will see when the Feast of the Firstfruits aka Weeks/Shavuot/Pentecost was observed. Go back 7 weeks and you have Firstfruits on the morrow after the Sabbath following the conclusion of Unleavened Bread. This is all referring to the 364 day calendar. If you use the moon only, you are only following the same error as the Jews. This is shown in Jubilees chapter 6 in verses 30 through 38.

Even better, get the King James 1611 bible. It has the complete books of the order final bible. The book of Jubilees clearly outlines Shabbat, as a day falling on Saturday, the 7th day.

Does Ezekiel 46:1 say that the sabbath day and the new moon are one and the same day? As I understand it, it says that the gate shall be opened on the sabbath, likewise on the day of the new moon. This means that if the new moon falls on a Sunday or any day in the Gregorian calendar then the gate shall be opened. And on the seventh day, Saturday, it shall also be opened.
In the lunar calendar, wherein the new moon starts the month, the same rule should apply. The gate should be opened on the new moon. But the new moon need not necessarily fall on the first day of the week. The new moon only determines the start of the month, not the start of the week. The weekly cycle is determined from creation and it remains the same ever since. Therefore, the new moon may fall on one of the six working days, and even on the sabbath. And when the new moon falls on a working day, the gate should be opened even when the text says that it shall be shut on a working day because Ezekiel 46:1 says that gate shall be ESPECIALLY opened on a new moon AND on the sabbath day.

How about a text that INSTRUCTS us that the monthly cycle resets the weekly cycle. I totally get line upon line, etc. but that should not be used as a dodge when someone asks where is this TAUGHT in the Bible. Nobody is asking for one text that proves the whole doctrine, just for at least one for each of the major claims you make. if this is a valid teaching, INSTRUCTION should be found in Scripture, especially when WLC is claiming that disobedience to it can lead to the mark of the beast and loss of salvation. Eve fell into sin listening to Satan’s explanations instead of YHWH’s plain instruction in His Word. This is the only calandar you can agriculturally use to get the feast days right, or sabbath day. The planting times and harvest times, such as barley harvest, wheat harvest, grape harvest etc. The feast days are in conjunction with these moon phases, such as Passover, Trumpets, Tabernacles etc. You must use the moon to plant at right times also. Their is no other calander that can do it but this one.

Going back to the history of the Jews it is never recorded in the Bible or secular books that they kept a lunar Sabbath. It is recorded that they kept a weekly Sabbath in both. We call it Saturday and in Spanish Saturday and Sabbath are the same word "El Sabado". Lunar Sabbath theology is not Exegesis but is a very cut and paste doctrine. Ex 20: 8-11 is pretty conclusive!
If Yahweh was expecting man to work six days and keep the Sabbath on the seventh day on an uninterruptible recurring pattern, it would be easy to see that all He needed to do was command us to do our work for six days and rest on the seventh -- no further explanation needed.
And that's exactly what He did:
Exodus 20:9-10 "Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahweh your Elohim."
Exodus 23:12a "Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest."

This isnt really an "off shoot of the SDA".. l was an SDA member and came out of that church because they did not recognize the Lunar Sabbath and could NOT prove to me using Scripture that following a Saturday Sabbath was Biblical, as it does NOT recognize NEW MOON DAYS. They also do not acknowledge following the Feast days, and Scripture supports following them, as we will be acknowledging them in heaven and the new earth. For those reasons, we left the church and are following the Lunar Sabbath. Neither Saturday nor Sunday is the true day of worship.

The length of each lunation is approximately 29,5 days which means that months generally alternate between 29 and 30 days. The problem is that the months consisting of 29 days is not Biblical. According to Scripture (the Old and New Testament), every Biblical month has exactly 30 days...
Genesis 7:11-12, 17-24 and Genesis 8:1-4 indicates that there are 150 days from the 17th day of the second month until the 17th day of the seventh month which calculates to 30 days per month over a period of five months.
Revelation 11:1-3 indicates that 42 months equals to 1260 days which is 30 days per month.
Daniel 7:23-25 cross-referenced with Revelation 13:4-8 indicates that “a time, times, and half a time” is equivalent to 42 months which is 1260 days or 30 days per month.

Pentecost and Lunar Sabbath cannot be reconciled. In Leviticus 23:15-17, the counting of seven Sabbaths (49 days) is commanded to determine the fiftieth day when Pentecost will occur. Pentecost is 50 days after Passover but in a lunar-solar calendar, Pentecost would be 51-52 days after Passover which contradicts the Bible.
I have closely observed how Lunar Sabbatarians count the seven Sabbaths; they exclude and completely ignore the translation days and new moon days in their counting.
So please can you give us the correct calendar and tell us what to do on all those days? We just did not learn that. Please make it simple.

The moon regulates the weekly Sabbath. Most feast keepers keep the Lunar Calendar twice a year for the Spring and Fall Feasts- Passover/Unleavened Bread Week and Tabernacles, I keep the Lunar Calendar all 12 months of the year....

One really dumb question, if Yeshua died on a Wednesday, and it was Passover and the first day of unleavened was on the 15th which turned into Thursday, followed by the day the women bought spices and then rested on the weekly Shabbat.. when He rose since it was exactly 3 days and nights later. Well that is NOT possible if you have a set weekly Shabbat with the 15th day always falling on it. It would also screw up the feast of Sukkot. Using the Julian or Gregorian calendars to explain the timeline of the crucifixion is quite problematic.

If Messiah was placed in the tomb on Abib 14 at sunset [Wed-sday] April 25th in AD31, it would have been impossible for the Jews to have purchased / selected their Passover lamb on the 10th day of Abib which would have been [Sat-day] April 21st. The Jews could not select or purchase their lambs if Sat-rday was the Sabbath. The ‘selection’ day in that case would have been as important as the ‘sacrifice’ day. Such activity was prohibited on the Sabbath.

Search carefully and you will find that there is no text which says Yahushua would be three days and three nights - in the ‘GRAVE’ or ‘TOMB’ - the texts say - in the heart of the earth. Comparing 'the sign of Jonah' to Yahushua being 'in the heart of the earth' is very controversial because of misunderstanding what 'in the heart of the earth' actually means.
EXPLANATION:
He was the perfect Lamb - without spot or blemish - YET He 'BECAME sin for us'-

He was in the 'control' of human wickedness - in man’s heart which is desperately wicked (this earthly system under the power of darkness) meaning 'in the heart of the earth' beginning in the garden when He prayed and submitted to His Father's will = 'not My will but Thy will be done' - that is where His blood was first shed in great drops appearing like sweat from His brow - voluntarily. Therefore, the count of the days and nights must start from that moment, pointing to Him being ‘in the heart of the earth’ and NOT limited to only the period of time when He was actually buried in the GRAVE or TOMB. One example of man’s heart being equated to the earth is in Yahushua’s prayer example - Thy will be done in earth [man’s heart] as it is in heaven.

I believe the scripture addresses the new day to begin when the sun rises. A day is 12 hours long - evening to morning was the 1st day. Evening is a part of the day and not night. That's my understanding.

I have repeatedly asked WLC for scriptural instructions to formulate a lunar calendar of any kind. All I get is crickets. I have repeatedly asked WLC for scriptural instructions to determine a new moon. All I get is crickets. I have asked WLC to explain the lunar calendar rebuke of Isaiah 1:13-14 and Jubilees 6:36-38. All I get is crickets.
I have asked WLC to debate the calendar of Enoch, which is the only calendar system we are given detailed instructions in chapters 72-82 of the book of Enoch and confirmed in the book of Jubilees. WLC cut off communication and refused any discussion on the matter.

I see that my comments have been removed, but that is ok. There is 2 Sabbath that is spoken of in the Holy Bible. The 7th Day of rest in Genesis this is also the same Sabbath in Exodus 20:8-11. There were also Ceremonial Sabbaths. These were special Sabbath were Ceremonies and Feast were held. This truth must be made plain. This whole series of videos entitled, "In Defense of the Lunar Sabbath" are a bit confusing.
As revealed in the Dead Sea Scrolls the true Sabbath was 3 days after the new moon of Abib as stated on their calendar as the 4th day then 11th, 18th, 25th. The second month shows the sabbath on the 2nd day. What this shows is that the new moon is calculated as the start of the Holy Year for abib which corresponds to the 4th day of Genesis then 3 days later the first sabbath shown as the 4th day on the calendar but corresponding to the 7th day of Genesis. All sabbaths aftr this are kept as a solar calendar every 7 days regardless of when the new moon appears Shalom and Amen

Celebrate the sabbath the best way you can. Rest in him that day and walk in the liberty of his resurrection. Even if you have to work make it a blessed day to celebrate who I have no problem calling Jesus. Demons are powerless by that name and will submit to that name. The Sabbath day happens to fall on Saturday. It's not dedicated to Saturday. It can be shown that the correct Sabbath happens to coincide with Saturday. All one has to do is establish what day the Messiah kept.
The Jews in the Messiah's time never disputed with the Messiah (nor He with them) about which day is the Sabbath. They only had disputes about what can be done on the Sabbath. It can be shown from history that the Jews kept a continuous weekly cycle during the Messiah's time(which means He would have kept it as well) and that Rome kept both a seven day week and an eight day week(which was their market week).
Rome's seven day week begin with the day of Saturn. The day of Saturn was the first day of the week. This day (strangely enough) at that time corresponded with the seventh day of the week that the Jews kept, which was the Sabbath. Again, this can be verified from history. Roman writers have stated that the Jews kept the day of Saturn (meaning they kept it continuously).
Making this short, in the second century, Rome exalted the worship of the sun and move the day of the sun to the FIRST DAY of the week. They shifted the day of Saturn to the seventh day of the week.
Therefore Rome got the weekly cycle correct by lining up with the correct time that the Jews were keeping, no longer having their first day of the week coinciding with the seventh day of the week, the Sabbath. They shifted the day of Saturn from the 1st day of the week to the seventh day of the week and in doing so, the day of Saturn remained the same day when the Jews kept the Sabbath.
The lunar day keepers are way off when it comes to the Sabbath. It's YAHWEH'S Sabbath btw.

I would love for Fred or any member of WLC to address what I have posted to show the error in it. If it's never addressed directly and openly then how can they ever establish what I said to be in error? The truth is bare and open to all opposition to come against it, to show that it is indeed the truth. It will always be left standing in the end.
Just saying someone is wrong is easy, demonstrating someone is wrong is a challenge. I challenge Fred and WLC to show the error in my comment. All seekers of the truth will decide for themselves based on the evidence that which is true and that which isn't. I could be wrong, in fact we could both be wrong but how will that be made known unless solid evidence is presented showing us to be wrong. All I want is the truth, nothing else will do for me.

Great video, but just one thing... around the 20 minute mark; Actually, Yahusha DID correct them, that their calendar was off, but he waited to do so at the last supper; the passover. He kept the true passover at the appointed time, the evening of the 14th, but the Jews were still waiting to keep it the next evening as evidenced in John 18:28 compared to the gospel accounts of the last supper passover (and yes it was the passover. Yahusha called it passover, his disciples called it passover and the authors of the gospels called it passover, because it was true passover).

This calendar is based on the Enoch calendar which was lunar solar as evidenced by the instructions in Enoch where the new moon becomes the 1st day of the month and always 1st day of the new year.
In locating the true Sabbath of God each year we first need to locate the first month and day of the Jewish calendar which is called the month of Abib or Aviv or Nisan. The first day of the first month starts with the new moon that appears before the Equinox or Spring time in Israel so that the Passover may fall in Spring on sunset of the 14th day. On certain years the new moon after the Spring Equinox must be used to allow the Passover to fall in Spring. From the Dead Sea Scrolls Translated the Essene Calendar reveals it as day 1. It then shows the first Sabbath as day 4 the second Sabbath as day 11, the Passover at day 14 then a Sabbath at day 18, then another Sabbath at the 25th. This month only has 30 days and then goes on the 2nd month with the Sabbath starting on the 2nd day then a Sabbath on the 9th day then a Sabbath on the 16th day, the 23rd day, the 30th day. In the 3rd month the Sabbath starts on the 7 th day, 14th, 21st, 28th and then they add and extra day every third month making this month 31 days long. In the 4th month is a repeat of the 1st month of Aviv (Nisan)
The Essenes made the 1st Sabbath of Aviv (Nisan) appear on the 4th day and the new moon as the 1st day because in Genesis the Sabbath appears 3 days after the creation and appointment of the new moon on the 4th day of creation as the time clock for Gods calendar.
The new moons for each begining of every month is also included in the 7 days that separate each Sabbath as can be seen in the Sabbath of Aviv the first month appearing on the 25th and then followed by the Sabbath of the 2nd month on the 2nd day, Aviv Nisan only had 30 days

Any person studied in the Bible knows that any mention of the moon is a message pointing to Satan. Holy time is measured by the Sun, not the moon. Plus, we all know that God is our rest so, what day are we to worship God? Every day.
There are still seven days of the week from the beginning up to now. The seventh day Sabbath is the only day that God rested blessed and made holy in Genesis 2:2,3.

I'm not understanding. Enoch says that the moon sometimes has 28 days, but he says we have 30/31 days in the month. Also, in Jubilees it states in the future people will get rid of the 364 day calendar and get rid of the true sabbaths
Stephanie lots of enoch conflicts with canonized scriptures. What you need to ask yourself is do you know for certain if that is the Enoch of Seth or is it the Enoch of Caine.
Jubilees also conflicts with cannonized scriptures. A lot of the apocrypha is esoteric, be very careful where they can lead you.

As for the lunar Sabbath, this is not scriptural and contradicts the Bible in several points. For instance, the moon was not in place until the fourth day. Also, how does this work with a lunar cycle with a duration of 29.5 days? Every month you have remaining days that you must either observe as additional Sabbaths or ignore. In either instance, how does this fit with the command of working six days and resting the seventh? Also, we’re told to count seven complete Sabbaths from the wavesheaf to Pentecost. This is impossible with the lunar Sabbath doctrine.

I think an argument might be made for an original 30 day month but no one is claiming that there ever was a 29 day month so if the sabbath always falls on the 29th there are going to be days that do not fit in to a 7 day cycle .. every month .. This is confusion.

What is the first feast mentioned in Leviticus 23?
I studied .... you might be missing a piece of the puzzle. The solar year is 365 days. BUTT, the lunar year is only 354 days. If you divide 354 by 12 you get 29.5 days in a lunar month. So, you can't have .5 day a month. Butt that's average. .5 days per month = 6 days in 12 months. The command is to work 6 rest on the 7th day. With 4 weeks to a month that would be 28 days with 4 Sabbaths. The new moon comes in and divides the old month and new month. Butt, the extra 6 days per lunar year are covered by 2 new moons in a row. Sometimes there may be 3 in a row. This means each lunar month is a new moon + 28 days for 29 days. Again, the extra 6 days are added to certain months to meet the total day count for lunar year. Also, some say the Sabbath is from sundown to sundown. That is impossible for you are assuming you work from sundown to sundown for 6 days then rest for 24 hours on the Sabbath!? The Sabbath day is the daylight hours. For example, in the high arctic they would have to work during the day of the Midnight Sun!...an interesting variable. The new moon is not a sabbath. It is a "do as thou wilt" thing ... you can work, party, temple but not a sabbath. Besides, I know JeZEUS would but Heavenly Father would not have a Sabbath on a pagan named week day. Today is a Full Moon Sabbath ... incidentally the last blood moon and eclipse was on a full moon sabbath ... not a good ointment! Look up: "Fifteenth day" in torah ... this is a Sabbath day. Passover is on the 15rh day of Nisan or Abib which means "first month". The First month is in the spring. The Esau-ites celebrate the new year in the fall ... going into desolation.

Genesis 1:14 is about the SUN, not the moon. We use the sun for the seasons. The Solstice and Equinox tell us when a new season starts and an old one ends. This is just "common sense".

The moon can only indicate the lunar months and consequently all those feasts (Heb.: מועדים môᶜădîm) that are based on a monthly date. All calendars are moon based, and even the term calendar is from Latin CALENDAE (new moon). Most of them are adapted to the solar anual cycle, so that we call them luni-solar calendars. However, the weekly cycle has no connection with astronomic cycles. It is a purely religious, arbitrary and sacred cycle, given by Creator to man, from the beginning. So, to mix the Week (and its Sabbath) with Biblical or non-Biblical calendars, is purely craze. Babylonians had such kind of „week", depending on the new moon. But the Biblical week is wholly independent. Read Genesis 1. God made the moon appear in the 4th day of the Creation's week, without any mention of the moon's phase, thus indicating that the week is not conected at all to the lunar cycle. Best wishes.

Ghencea, teoria asta cu sabatul lunatic este scoasă din pălărie de numai câţiva ani. Până acum, nimeni nu a ţinut asemenea "sabate" aiurite, care cad luni, marţi, miercuri şi oricând. GHENCEAAA Scriptura spune că semnul Creatorului este ziua a şaptea, a săptămânii (Facerea 2:1-3; Ieşirea 20:11; 31:13), nu luna nouă. Nicăieri nu s-a poruncit în Legea lui Moise luna nouă. Era doar o sărbătoare populară, care a fost păstrată şi i s-au ataşat anumite obiceiuri şi jertfe la Templu. Era o zi de petrecere nevinovată şi cam atât. Sâmbăta însă, oprirea de la lucru era impusă sub pedeapsă capitală (Ieşirea 31:14; Numeri 15:32-36; Ieremia 17:27), ceea ce nu era cazul cu luna nouă. Cât priveşte Evanghelia, se menţionează că Iisus ţinea Sâmbăta (într-un stil diferit de al evreilor tradiţionali), dar niciodată nu se aminteşte luna nouă în legătură cu Iisus sau cu apostolii, nici de bine, nici de rău. Singurele locuri în care este amintită în Noul Testament, este în legătură cu anumiţi eretici care căutau să impună calendarul iudaic, cu toate "timpurile lui hotărâte", ca o nouă evanghelie:

Dacă preocuparea voastră cu luna nouă ar fi doar personală, ar fi o simplă rătăcire. Dar luna nouă, chiar dacă ar mai vreo obligativitate, nu are NICI O LEGĂTURĂ cu locul pe care-l ocupă SÂMBĂTA. Sometimes, the Sabbath, the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th days of the month, occur on when I have to go to school. What should I do? If I stay home and keep the Sabbath holy by honoring it and devoting my time to Yahuwah, I risk angering my mother, and in Canada, they force education, or so my mother says.

Leviticus makes it clear that God established a seven-day week, the Sabbath coming at the end. Seven multiplied by seven is 49. This means that the day after the seventh Sabbath would be the 50th day. If God wanted us to keep lunar Sabbaths, this passage of Scripture would not make sense.

Care to elaborate? The Luminaries were created and hung in the heavens on the 4th day. Now was the Moon a first visible Crescent? Or was it a full moon? Those would really be the only two logical options. You're never once told to count from the moon but simply to count the continuous 7-Day cycle.

can understand better, the breaks in the weekly cycles by New Moon Day and also Translation Day which occurs in the 30 day Luni-solar months.
Bear in mind that New Moon Day is MONTHLY not WEEKLY. In the observation of the Feasts of Unleavened Bread and Tabernacles there are 2 back to back Sabbaths. The Day of Atonement also falls in the middle of the week between 2 Sabbaths.
All of this shows that there is no fixed 6+1 law which we must follow EVERY
week in an unbroken consecutive cycle.
There are at least two direct 'thus saith Yahuwah' regarding the new moon day - Thus saith Yahuwah; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.Ezekiel 46:1

If your Shabbath is falling consistently on 8, 15, 22, 29 you are calculating incorrectly. The Lunar Shabbath or High Day should fall on each full moon. This is how you know you calculated correctly. The Feasts of Yahuah are always in the Full moon and this includes the Seven Day Shabbat. Don't count the dark days.
The 15 would only consistently fall on full moon if you go by sighting of new moon.

"The deified Augustus Vespasian attacked the Jews on the day of Saturn, a day on which it is sinful for them to do any business." Frontinus Stratagem 2.1.17.
The original Latin version of this book has "Saturnis" for Saturn, confirming that the Romans associated the Sabbath day with their "day of Saturn." It is this association that resulted in the 7th day of the modern week being called "Satur-day."
Since this book was written a mere 14 years after Vespasian's (Titus') destruction of Jerusalem, this is this is obviously very strong historical evidence directly from a first century eyewitness, tying in the Sabbath with "Saturn's day (Saturday)."
63 BCE - 229 CE
Cassius Dio, a Roman Historian who lived from ca. 155 to 229 CE, using the historical annals of the Roman empire, wrote about 3 battles which the Roman empire had with the Jews.
The first battle was during a time when the Hyrcanus II and Aristobulus II, two brothers who were the offspring of the Maccabees, were engaged in a dispute over who would rule. The Romans, through the actions of Pompey, came in and settled the dispute, siding with Hyrcanus. While speaking of Pompey's battle, the Sabbath is mentioned.
The setting is 63 BCE:
"Most of the city, to be sure, he took without any trouble, as he was received by the party of Hyrcanus; but the temple itself, which the other party had occupied, he captured only with difficulty.
For it was on high ground and was fortified by a wall of its own, and if they had continued defending it on all days alike, he could not have got possession of it.
As it was, they made an excavation of what are called the days of Saturn, and by doing no work at all on those days afforded the Romans an opportunity in this interval to batter down the wall.
The latter, on learning of this superstitious awe of theirs, made no serious attempts the rest of the time, but on those days, when they came round in succession, assaulted most vigorously.
Thus the defenders were captured on the day of Saturn, without making any defense, and all the wealth was plundered.
The kingdom was given to Hyrcanus, and Aristobulus was carried away." Cassius Dio Roman History 37.16.1-4
So the Romans took advantage of the fact that the Jews would not work on the Sabbath. When was the Sabbath? Again, the weekly Sabbath coincides with the Roman "days of Saturn."
The second battle listed by Cassius Dio occurred in 36 BCE, is the one that resulted in the very first King Herod coming to power:
"The Jews, indeed, had done much injury to the Romans, but they suffered far more themselves.
The first of them to be captured were those who were fighting for the precinct of their god, and then the rest on the day even then called the day of Saturn.
And so excessive were they in their devotion to religion that the first set of prisoners, those who had been captured along with the temple, obtained leave from Sosius, when the day of Saturn came round again, and went up into the temple and there performed all the customary rites, together with the rest of the people.
These people Antony entrusted to a certain Herod to govern; but Antigonus he bound to a cross and flogged,” a punishment no other king had suffered at the hands of the Romans,” and afterwards slew him." Cassius Dio Roman History 49.22.4-6
Note that Cassius Dio reports the Jews as keeping "customary rites" at the temple on "the day even then called Day of Saturn." This indicates that the Sabbath wasn't only called the "Day of Saturn" during his lifetime, but it was called the "Day of Saturn" back in 36 BCE, well before Yahushua was born in Bethlehem.
Next, he records that the 70 CE Jerusalem destruction was on the Sabbath, which he once again calls the "day of Saturn:"
This is ridiculous. If this were true, it would be impossible to hold a job, what boss is going to let you take a different day off each week? Does God not want us to work for our food? God is a God of love, he wouldn't make his Sabbath day "tricky". That brings up the second, why would God make it so hard to figure out the Sabbath? He wants us to worship on the Sabbath, he wouldn't make it "tricky".
In reference to the Sabbath being "forgotten", it doesn't mean we'll forget "when" the Sabbath is, it means we'll forget it all together, like what has happened. People think that "Sunday" is the Sabbath, they forgot the Sabbath.

What I have learned is that what the world says is the opposite of the bible. Even the Gregorian new moon is based on the satanic worship called the smallest of all beginning. The scriptures say that the full moon is the new moon and the moon shines less as she cycles. So we start the month based on the full moon, and after new moon sabbath we count 7 days to the sabbath. So this is correct. However like you have stated it goes against the beast system and you will get mocked and hated. However in my case my days are numbered, as are everyones. What happens at the end of 3 1/2 years or 7? All I know is that I will be wise and keep my oil in my lamp and my garments ready. I hope you as well.
What about the number of days changing throughout time? Then what? How would it be possible to fall on 8 15 22 and 29? Wouldn't it be easier to just look to the moon then count 3 days after that as YHWH did when he rested? Or did he wait for 8 more days to rest. (I do know a day equal a thousand years). IF the Sabbath was Saturday the Bible would say "Sunday to Friday thou shalt labour and do all thy work but Saturday is the Sabbath of Yahuwah thy Eloah" but it DOESN'T say that so I'm sorry to say this but you are mistaken
Its all self evident that The Jewish Sabbath is the correct one and SUNday is not the only thing The Roman Catholic Church has lied about.
So which weekly Sabbath did Jesus keep?
Yahushua kept the same seventh-day Sabbath that was kept by Yahuwah's people since creation which is arrived at by the biblical Luni-Solar calendar.
The model you are proposing about a Sabbath based on a moon calendar, has its own flaws. A moon based Sabbath can NOT be the 7th Day of the creation week, since the moon was created on the 4th day of the week, according to Genesis 1.
Also, was it a new moon or a full moon when it was created since that depends on the position of the sun/earth and moon? How do we determine that?
It is a model, but it can't be the 7th Day of creation week, simple as that.
