I was a huge fan of the league in the 2000s and 2010s, so something that really bothers me is not being able to use all the jerseys in the mode. They only give us the default options, which is something that really bothers me. For example, the Curry era, not being able to use the Cavs sleveed jersey is ridiculous. They need to fix this.
as a european, 2k is lying in all of our faces with the “retired this year so we can’t use them excuse”. Sergio Rodriguez, a player on the 2017 sixers roster, retired this year, his last game being a lost Euroleague final. he’s part of the Curry era roster. it’s not a euroleague specific deal/issue because Serge Ibaka (removed), is still active in europe, Papagiannis, lottery pick in the beginning of the Curry era with 88 pot in 2k17, is still active and not on the kings. they don’t add the players because they want people to not care about myeras and move on to other areas that make them more profit. it fucking sucks because i wanted to make 2k myeras content this year, i spent half of my savings on it and told my momma ill make it back, and its just so broken and my passion to build stories for videos is done. please pin this so people see. Most of the players you see in 2K have been contacted by the 2K or a part of the NBA license. When they leave the NBA, 2K loses their likeness unless they agree to put their likeness in the game as a retired player or a former player. I mean, they don't have Andrew Bynum in the game.
They took away creating a legend mode too so that people would be forced to pay and upgrade their my players to enjoy that type of experience. Why spend money to be like Stephen curry when I can just be Stephen curry?
Let me be clear as bell, in case 2K might be reading, I purchase 2K ONLY for its MyNBA Eras mode. I love living in my own little basketball universe from the past. I believe the 80's were the golden years of the NBA, and so it is a lot of fun reliving the Magic and Bird era. I stopped buying this game for several years. Then when I heard about the Eras mode, I upgraded my Xbox just for this game. I will never buy this game again if Eras ever goes away. So, I really hope they improve this mode instead of lazily adding to it (like they apparently have this year). Thank you for the video.

Is Adaptive Coaching Engine(ACE) fixed? Can’t seem to pull up the On-ball/Off-ball defense adjustments. Like every year they break something in the game or take features out.
There should be tuning and trade sliders to increase/decrease the difficulty of trades and I’m pretty sure there’s a slider for player progression as well. The sliders go pretty in depth, but you may already know this, I never had to use it but maybe this could help
the default sliders are atrocious, i get it mycareer is what they should be focusing on but they are essentially neglecting all other parts of the game. on 24 i was using popboy’s sliders so hopefully he drops another one for this year.
Stay tuned The gameplay is legitimately good if you like realistic basketball. Positioning really matters and the shot contest system has been completely reworked to mimic real life The simulation engine also appears to be greatly improved. Idk about the salary and team building logic yet. Although the ratings and tendencies need to be redone as it's been for many years now
The big reason that they keep losing player rights is because they generate hella money each year, constantly charging micro transactions, but refusing to pay out. I’m really hoping people understand that a monopoly situation is never a positive outcome. The last time 2k was truly good was 2k19 when they still had competition from nba live.
Currently going through making a complete roster for this era. A few players still have their dna somewhere I can find but I'm having to make so many players from scratch smh
Iddy,Blake ,and Wall will sign new deals next year but the big issue is all these role and bench guys missing. we need like a 70's era (Dr. J or Kareem)
As far as sliders Popboy’s 2k24 sliders seem to still help with contracts. I agent tested his progression sliders yet but I’m sure they would be an improvement.
Thank you. All the park players are gassing this game because they're the only people 2k tries to satisfy. All the offline modes are trash unless you heavily edit them, but that's a few hours of work. Imo the Park doesn't need much improvement. Online players will play the online modes regardless. Offline modes are the ones that are supposed to stand the test of time, but theirs are borderline unplayable if you actually care about NBA basketball.
I agree with some of these but you do know you can adjust sliders and difficulties, such as trade difficulties which makes the trading much more realistic. As well as raising sliders on how much players expect to be paid in free agency.🤷🏾♂️
Era shouldn’t have been dropped anyway. It doesn’t make sense it was just a couple of years ago. Allow nostalgia to take effect before you implement something
I thought Potential went off the Boom-Bust-Average % vs the Peak Age. Once you hit your peak, your development kinda caps. You have to grow your player before he hits his peak. The confusing part for me is, how does a player outplay his Bust or Average rating? How can I get this 75 to his 95 potential?
Every year I’ve had to adjust settings for more realistic gameplay and spent hours each season creating what I believe somewhat realistic draft classes

MyNBA is EASILY my favorite part of 2k, and it was basically all I played in 2k24. I am so disappointed in this years version, the Curry era is such a dumb thing to add. They couldve added the 70s or something but no, gotta add the curry era which is literally in the LeBron era. I just wanna be able to have fun man, lol
Nearly all the missing players are available from the curry Era on the roster share. Some of the created faces are better than what 2k gave us. The Blake Griffin I saw looks better than the real Blake Griffin
The trade stuff doesnt matter to much because ya can literally turn up the trade slider but everything else i completely agree with 2k just doesn't care anymore because they're getting paid regardless. 🤷🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
might be unpopular but because of progression and regression i do my own ratings and badges for each player and set all of those sliders to 0.. it's lowkey fun cause i also like realistic ratings and someone could be a 90 ovr averaging stats that aren't 90 ovr worthy so my mynba is more realistic
My nba has has sliders for progression and regression of the players. I’ve probably played over 1000 hours + in my league. If you want a realistic rebuild and league you have to put in the time to make adjustments to sliders and league settings to get where you want. Loading up the game and just swimming is how you get bad simulations and over saturated players and teams.
A lot of this can be changed in settings just before starting a new MyNBA it's tedious af tho and so many sliders need to be changed every time you make a new one it's not even worth it.
Everybody who is a hardcore nba fan pre ordered this game just to play my league and they come out and lose rights to the best player on the best team EVER
I've enjoyed 2k25. But that's because I bought since this is the year that the Celtics won the title and JT made it onto the cover. I really only play singleplayer MyCareer and I play super casually (like maybe 2-3 MyCareer NBA games per week). For that it's ok. Not great, but ok. Even then, it doesn't at all justify the base-game price tag, let alone the microtransactions that the game throws at me every time I log in. Even as a very casual solo player, I can't even log into the game without being bombarded with two different screens for microtransactions for modes like MyTeam that, in ten years of playing various 2K's, I've never touched. It's pretty bad when a casual player who bought the game primarily to commemorate my favorite team's title is only vaguely satisfied...not even happy, but barely satisfied. I can only imagine what it's like for people that really do sink lots of time and money into the game.

Ya fueron desbloqueados por la comunidad, tanto Griffin , Wall, Ibaka , Iguodala , estaban en los archivos del juego.
To be fair who cares about Sergio rodriguez
Shut up racist @@GT_RV6
W danny for not caring about not getting invited to community day and actually speaking his mind💯
People been saying same thing every year especially content creators and they all still buy it and play it so who cares
They have to quit just catering to mycareer mode.. there’s no way this mode is lacking that much
I agree with the take about free agents and high ovr starting lineup 3:03
Smooth huh dribble check 6:03 that behind the back turned front cross is crazy work 💯
They took away creating a legend mode so that people would be forced to pay and upgrade their my players to enjoy that type of experience. Why spend money to be like Stephen curry when I can just be Stephen curry?
Thanks for taking the time to test all of this and make the video
I think potential depends on what people thought the player’s potential was at the time
You don't realize that putting out a game that fully satisfies your needs puts them in a tough position.
well that sucks considering this is the only mode of 2k that i actually be playing i also dislike that players don’t look era accurate like if i play with 2016 lakers kobe shouldn’t have a fro!!
My NBA is the only mode I care about. My team and my career have been butt for YEARS
Im ur 1000th sub congrats bro
I'm convinced people just wait for stuff to complain about when the game comes out because it's popular
Well the reason why they have roster fillers is cuz they don’t have the rights to put them in the game that’s really why it’s like that 😭
I agree what’s the point when half the teams only got 4 real people and a bunch of generics .
Whenever I start in the Steph era, Ben Simmons is the MVP every year 💀, and SGA caps at a 89
Is Adaptive Coaching Engine(ACE) fixed? Can’t seem to pull up the On-ball/Off-ball defense adjustments. Like every year they break something in the game or take features out.
There should be tuning and trade sliders to increase/decrease the difficulty of trades and I’m pretty sure there’s a slider for player progression as well. The sliders go pretty in depth, but you may already know this, I never had to use it but maybe this could help
MyNba is the mode I play the most and Agree with you. And then a lot of the face scans are inaccurate even when they are scanned
They definitely rushed it. You look at melo in lebron or steph era it's like he wss just placed in there without all his prior stats
2k really needs competition
the default sliders are atrocious, i get it mycareer is what they should be focusing on but they are essentially neglecting all other parts of the game. on 24 i was using popboy’s sliders so hopefully he drops another one for this year.
Lol I haven’t purchase NBA 2K since 2K22. I don’t see the point in getting it again
Stay tuned
The gameplay is legitimately good if you like realistic basketball. Positioning really matters and the shot contest system has been completely reworked to mimic real life
The simulation engine also appears to be greatly improved.
This one of the reasons I’m getting a PC. The modding community will save this game 😊
Idk how I found you Danny I watch the main channel but you didn’t lie once here 🔥
Currently going through making a complete roster for this era. A few players still have their dna somewhere I can find but I'm having to make so many players from scratch smh
We really need a basketball version of Football Manager
2K fans feeling what madden fans been feeling for the past 20 years
Iddy,Blake ,and Wall will sign new deals next year but the big issue is all these role and bench guys missing. we need like a 70's era (Dr.
A 2k low is a Madden peak
Era shouldn’t have been dropped anyway. It doesn’t make sense it was just a couple of years ago. Allow nostalgia to take effect before you implement something
Wizards no John wall is craaaazy
There is a modded roster that rebuilds it
@@Reallyaudi on p5??
Anybody else waiting for this game to be 70% off before buying? I’ve done that with 2k23 and 2k24.
I kno it’s a video game but I’d like a little bit of realism. I normally start in the earliest era and act like it’s an alternate universe
In the curry era if you look at the tendency no player has any other 3 point tendencies besides the shot three
They lose the rights for some of these players
i haven't bought a 2K game since 2021 and i see i'm not missing out on anything
The biggest problem is that it’s called the curry era. He’s like the 3rd best player in his era
I’ve always said attributes should be based on stats, not the other way around. Dynamic ratings just like in real life
Every year I’ve had to adjust settings for more realistic gameplay and spent hours each season creating what I believe somewhat realistic draft classes
the faxt they didnt tell ppl these players are missing before dropping it is insane
I actually do they think they announced it.
Kenny or kot4q is the goat he never switched up stayed true to his content and showed how you can be a consistent my nba RUclipsr he is up there with the ogs like cash and Chris smoove
Even in the Lebron and Curry era the jersey's and overall brands of the 30 NBA franchises are WAY off
If he would just play a season after drafting someone. He would see that the potential changes for a player after the end of each season
I prefer if the 50s 60s and 70s were added instead of Curry era
2k23 is probably my fav 2k on next gen
why?
@@makrockatansky7585 fun shooting
Man gotta add like 2 teams every 3 years man 😂
Regarding sports games since co-op seemed to die a long time ago and certain long term physical health probs. I play single player 80% of the time in sports like MYNBA. Maybe thats why I still play games like NFL 2k5 or older gens of NBA 2k.. Its always the same story Monopolies are formed and things die after they become greedy as F.
The last NBA game I ever played was NBA 2k20 on the Xbox one, never played another ever since.
a 60’s or 70’s era is nasty work 😂😂😂 I’m good on 95% filler players n that’s boring as hell lol
might be unpopular but because of progression and regression i do my own ratings and badges for each player and set all of those sliders to 0.. it's lowkey fun cause i also like realistic ratings and someone could be a 90 ovr averaging stats that aren't 90 ovr worthy so my mynba is more realistic
And this is why u keep/ buy the older 2ks man at least i have the complete rosters
The current nba gameplay is great that playing with old teams or created players feels crap.
Yea ive played my nba/league since 2k 15. Its never been great, but its always been fun. Imo
Its impossible to get into a save when every team is rated 85+ and after 1 seasons theres about 30 players with a 90+ overall
