Honda Accord 08 v6 ExL version is quite solid and quite reliable compared to Camry's verion. I love the Accord and the v6 version of it is a beast on the road. 😊
Accord is sweet I have drive both but I chose accord is reliable all you need is mentain is when he give any sign repair it accord sweet just this days Toyota is over hype only who knows car we go for Honda
Toyota is the highest selling car brand in the world by units sold. That's not hype, that's a fact. And there's a reason why that is the case. Overall, the camry is easier to maintain than the accord.
The accord does not av a manual shift in the auto gearbox While the Camry has manual auto shift. The Camry is also equipped with push to start bottom which is not available on the accord. So interms of technology he Camry is better. But comfort and luxury while driving plus better overall interior and exterior design the accord wins it..
How many times do people use the Manuel shift on the automatic gear? That useless to me. Boring and cheap materials in the interior I will prefer quality and more luxury interior the Honda provides than ur so called push to that
I do agree the Camry have a few of these convenient features like the Push start... The accord didn't get that until later in the next gen... and as for the auto manual shift, That still doesn't affect the accords performance... In fact it's down on one gear and still incredibly faster... If you've truly driven one... you will understand my stand off...
@@ifeanyikingsley9874 cars are not made for you alone..people av various likes and dislikes, some would prefer the Honda while others the Toyota..it's all down to opinion and u must respect that
With this generation i'd go for the Evil Spirit if you're getting the 4 cylinder engine. But as regards the V6, it's the Camry. The Camry V6 doesn't have the VCM like the Accord. BTW, the Accord didn't get a CVT until 2013, which is the next generation.
You should have compared the Ex-L to XLE V6, not the SE.. Ex-l is the highest trim for that generation of Accord and XLE is the highest for the camry. The XLE has the features you mentioned in the accord too. Also the XLE does not have the harsh ride of SE.. And I don't think there is any of that generation of camry selling as high as 7m in Tokunbo market
The only thing that made sense u said here is the pricing. The rest ain't true. Toyota's has cheap materials that always melt weather on the xle or se the material do melt true or false? The Honda sense superior anyday
obviously didn't talk 'bout cheap parts here... Calm down and read slowly again, I said the comparison is valid when you compare the highest trim of Accord to that of the camry.. The Ex-L of the accord was compared to the sport edition of the camry(it should have been compared to the XLE of the camry, with that, the stiffer/harsher ride issh won't enter the convo). I am sure you saw nothing like quality of materials or melting dashboard in my previous comment.
Well the intention was not to compare the highest trims but to compare the sportiest trims of the gen which I have driven and experienced. I haven't experienced the XLE trim of the camry but will sure work on that and probably do another comparison with the XLE... Price wise... I think it's been while you did look the market... The Facelifted gen of this Camry sells for as high as N6.950M Though price is dependent on Vendor and other factors which I did stated in the video.
@@OluwatobiJethro The facelift version of this generation is the 2010 and 2011 with the 2.5l engine.. You know the higher the trims and engine, the more expensive... But I don't think it is even upto 6m in today's market. I might be wrong though. In the video, you actually did show the interior of the XLE too though. It has the dual climate control, automatic ac control, leather/fabric seats, i4/v6 engine, improved jbl speakers, rear vents, rear reclining seats, auto-dim rear mirror, softer ride, formica etc Yes, that generation does have the melting dashboard issue, cheaper interior parts and for the 2007 to 09 models with the 2az-fe engine, they got the OIL BURN issue... It is nice conversing with you though...
I am a honda accord fan but k24 engine variant. Honda v6 engines dont withstand the test of time. So it's better to stick to a 2.4 litre engine than that annoying v6. To be sincere honda cars have almost the same feel with bmw. Thank God honda knew they were terrible with v6 engines and decided to stop manufacturing them from 2018.
I see used Accord V6 from 2008-2012 selling with over 200,000 miles on them. Their V6 is fine. The cylinder deactivation can be paused with an inexpensive device if that is a concern, though for now, I let mine (with over 100,000 on it) do its thing. Haven't noticed any issues yet and it gets better fuel economy. If I notice oil consumption or other problems with the feature, I'll probably intsall the device.
Drive them back to back and you might prefer the acceleration and speed of the V6, which is way more responsive. By the way, most manufacturers are replacing their V6 engines with turbo 4s to comply with fuel economy requirements. It's not because of the engine being bad.
The accord is cooler and more sporty if u'll ask me but the muscle looks Roget while on car body kits, but the regular one without mood on them looks boring on like the accord they are boot good cars but I prefer the accord
By far the Toyota Camry is better, durable and reliable vehicle. The Honda Accord is garbage especially in the last 15 years…speaking out of experience and cylinder 1 blows up….
15 years and none of that shit blew up😂😂 I own one and it's a I4, I have defeated camrys, they are slow. None of the cylinders have blown up Your probably and obviously didn't care of it. My friends accord 2012 v6 went more than 700k
@@accordlegend2925 I have owned Hondas for 3 decades and by far the reliable and durable ones were built in late 80s and 90s. Last well made Acura was the 2006 RSX and that was almost 2 decades ago. Anything after 2006, are pure oil burner garbage.
You must have bought somebody else's problems in that case, I own both accord and the camry both don't have problems but the accord is more engaging and a joy to drive more than the camry
Well.......had the 08' Accord and it's been sublime, as a matter of fact the person who the car was gifted to drives it till date. By the way it has clocked over 170K miles.
In any car just do your basic maintenance and don't ignore any unusual noise or operation. It'll just get worse and dent your wallet. I have nothing but praise for the Accord.

What about the fuel consumption of the both car, pls which is better?
@@yahayamohammed2256 Their fuel consumption are similar as they’re both 2.4L DOHC engines. It all depends on the driving behavior of the user.
I love and prefer the Toyota Camry muscle 👍
Accord is cooler anytime anyway... I used a 2007 Accord and have been using it for years now
Does the tire break out
U didn’t talk About the fuel consumption
Gather here if you're watching for the option as you don't have one yet 😅
😂😂
Bro have you both either of them yet ??
Accord is the best and their engine is way more stronger than toyota
I don't agree ohhhhhhhhhh

the accord does have paddle shifters (manual shift) and as well push to start... but isn't common. you can google it.
