Peanut butter and banana is my favorite sandwich. Making this French toast sandwich with maple syrup, bourbon and bananas and bourbon…..yeah I did say bourbon twice! Dang Neal, that’s money! Cheers brother and glad you’re back! Outstanding!
Great to see a new video! I made King's Hawaiian Roll french toast as my second meal on my griddle! I'll have to try incorporating some of your ideas. Thanks again for inspiring us.
Also I wanted to give kudos to you for all the little tips and tricks you incorporate into your videos. It's really helped me "master" the griddle quickly.
Amy to the rescue on vocabulary again!! LOL You're so right about the versatility of ways to up the ante on French Toast, all those options you mentioned toward the end and more. You like crunch? After the swim in the custard, dredge the slices with crushed Frosted Flakes (kids love it), then on the griddle. An adult alternative would be a mix of crushed and thin sliced almonds for the dredge...........oh man.
I like that idea about cereal. I have tried captain crunch before and it was good but I like the idea of Frosted Flakes better. Its amazing how sometimes she looks at me and says what the heck did you just say. HAHHA
How I missed this video I don't know but man!!!!! That sounds amazing I wasthinking of making French toast for our boy this weekend for make ahead breakfasts, but that stuffed sandwich sounds 💣💣💣 only problem it will totally destroy my diet 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi Neil, great video. Hope you and the family had a great Thanksgiving. My weekend was made last night with LSU winning the final Coach O game. Geaux TIGERS!!!
Pro tip is to make the Custard the night before and leave it in the fridge, It'll enhance the flavor. Also leave out the bread so it drys out. When you dunk the bread use a cooling rack to let the excess custard drip off.
Good video for a while I thought you went hunting or something. Your wife was correct , Neil it's been a while since we seen something from you guys !Thank you Frank from montana... PS. Don't wait so long next time.........
I’ve been binge watching your videos & many others. Now I really want to get a Griddle. Camp Chef is actually hard to get here, but I can get some models of Blackstone from a local store. I like the 36” for room but it’s mostly just my wife & I, so looking at a Blackstone 28” 3 burner model 1901. I noticed you sold your Camp Chef but on the video you never really said why.
Yeah...we talked about it often on the Fb group...it came down to too many things on the deck...we built the deck bigger for family and it quickly became to much. Then you take all the time it takes to film and move things around over and over...the camp chef was harder to move and did not have a hinged hood...one had to go and we just choose our pros and cons list...one thing to mention. The Camp Chef never failed...never...I miss it but ultimately one had to go
@@TheFlatTopKing I was on Facebook for about 8 years. Got hacked & they deleted everything, I killed the account & never went back. I do miss it for information & reviews. Might have to go back 🔥🇨🇦
I almost always use low on all my cooks. The difference is sometimes i ket it get hotter for other foods. This one needs to be on the lower side so the bread has a chance to fry and not burn.
Oh heck yeah!!!!! Looks delicious 😋
Absolutely they were...go dang goood
That stuffed French toast looks absolutely delicious
Not being bias but yep. I can still taste it
@@TheFlatTopKing Need to flambeau those bananas

Looks awesome. I'm diabetic. Will have to increase insulin to have it. Appreciate your wife. The best line of the video is " CHARADES IN THE SHOWER"

Heck yeah. I was even screaming late for LSU. Thanksgiving was great. Now who coaches next. Riley to USC. Naiper to Florida …
Just one word " YUMMY "

Great Tips. Ty.
Sliced bananas are great in the pancake batter too. Slices though not banana puree.
5 out of 5 dentists approve this! Another great vid!
HAHAHAHA I am going this Friday. I will ask him.
Now, that’s creative. Cunundrum…WT101, Bulleit Rye or Maker’s Mark. Peanut butter? No question…Jif Extra Crunchy.
HAHHAHAHA right. I am planning on adult pancakes with bourbon in the mix and in the icing.

I agree. This is my super busy time in my personal business so cooking is a last resort right now. I have some really good ideas planned. Stay tuned.

Did you use a low or medium heat?

Is putting alcohol on your griddle bad ?
I wouldn't think so I do it often...whats your concern
Why not make a peanut butter-banana spread and add the granola on top of the spread? 🤯
That poor stuffed French toast is destroyed
Do you ever use eggnog for your French toast?
Charades in the shower???😳😯👀😬🤔😉👍😎
HHAHAHAHA you caught that. Yeah I use egg nog and have a good video coming up using egg nog
