Your comment regarding the LCD being inaccurate and having to transfer to your phone to see the pics hits home for me. Exact same feeling for me on the gr3x. I wish they improve the screen on the gr4
This is the first set of images I’ve seen from the Ricoh GR iii that are not grainy/hazy/nostalgic/warm toned. I was starting to wonder if this camera can even take a sharp picture or no. These are the only sharp clear good contrast pictures I’ve seen. Which is A GOOD THING.
@@ChristianoGioacchini you can get an adapter to convert the IIIx to wide angle, it's not supposed to be used like that but go check it out it makes more sense than owning both. more info on Reddit people successfully used it so when you need wide angle you can quickly covert and use 40mm for portrait or to get closer to stuff when travelling
Can this camera sync with mobile data also or I have to be in a place with WiFi. Because I have been trying with mobile data on but it only works with WiFi
Have you tried the RX100? I know it’s a very different point and shoot , both being a smaller sensor and less ‘trendy’ than the Ricoh , but how might you personally compare the two?
Oh... Harley or Leica?? Simple. 1. Scout Bobber + Ricoh GRii or... 2. RE GT650 + Ricoh GRii Tadaaah. You'd have to convince me that the things you point your camera at cant be captured with a camera that's not a Leica. PS: rider AND photographer here so this was a great video bro.
It’s 1080p only, and you have no manual controls. It’s also incredibly noisy haha but if you like the style of old digicam videos from the early 2000’s, then its good at that haha
this camera is shit for anything but street. the hdf models has a mist filter embedded. one single focal lenght for a whole body of work is not everyone cup of tea
Nice review! (It's 28mm equivalent btw) 📸
Yesss thank you!!!!
Fantastic video. Thank you
Besides the filter adaptor and the black mist filter, what lens hood is that? Can you provide a link?
Absolutely

ive only seen people ''complaining'' about gr3(x) taking pictures that are too sharp & shooting on -2 to -4 sharpness :D
love the video! Have you tried the iii X when you bought this one ?
Thank you! Not yet but I plan to!

1:38 magnesium alloy body, not plastic

Didn’t really get it for that but I will try it at some point 🙃
