    Wow I've been to a lot of car shows but this one has a little of everything for everyone. You just can't see everything in one day to take in every vehicle and see every detail.

      Yeah that Stanley is great, he shows up every year and drives around the show. Check out some of my videos from the Holiday Motor Excursion to see some more of the Stanley.

    i like vettes & mustangs but an old caddy convertible or a 61-65 Lincoln convertible is just moving art. and a ton of money for restoration. great variety here, very wealthy people w/ good taste.

    • @petercrowl9467
      @petercrowl9467 5 лет назад +1

      When he goes to shows like this he goes really early - talk with the car guys and leaves.
      If he stays till the crowd comes in they all want to see him and that takes away from the
      people who bring their cars. He's all that and a bag of chips

    I just hat it that old farts go out and buy a new car and put it in a Classic car show . Or an old fart go and buy a Classic car that he never touched and tell me that he restored the car . I ask so who painted the car . He would say so and so shop . LOL I know people that can restore a car correctly that owns them . I know a few people that kept their first car and even fewer that these car are muscle cars . But almost all of them claim that they owned the car sense new and everything is original to the car when I know dam good and well they are not and most of those cars are clones . I bought an 1952 MGTD . I always wanted to own one sense I was 5 years old . Now I do . It will be the only classic car I would ever own . I bought it about 3 years ago . It is an older restoration that I did not do . Everything is not original . It has a Gold Ribbon engine . Or what they call a factory rebuilt engine . It is that Banana yellow cream color with red interior . along with the red grill insert . It's a nice clean car with all of it's leaks . Just like all british cars of that time . I just tell people that it is marking it's territory before it leaves . It seems that it does not leak when driving . Just when the engine stops running .

      Most of these "old farts" were probably rodding, tinkering, polishing and doing their own service work on vehicles like these before you were born... show a little respect because without the "old farts" owning some of these amazing automobiles they would be in the scrap pile including the one you own!

    • @jeffmullinix7916

      @@t.d.mich.7064 I am not young . I am 61 years old and If you been threw what I been threw with a brain trauma that your not showing any respect to a disabled Vet . What are you a fking Trump supporter . Dam coward . I had cars and I built cars and aircraft before you was even born . I was in Baghdad before you was in your dads bag . I see these old farts with plastic kit cars and steel cars but new cars going showing there cars . LOL I seen many old cars that been restored to new condition and been bought to be stripped cut up into something they are not . Totally screwing up a car. You just one of those fk heads that I see when asked did you build or restored your can and 99% they say yes . But when the restoration pics show that the car body and frame is in a body shop getting painted and put back together . Then off to the fabric shop it goes or better an interior kit is installed by the owner with a the corners wrinkles and looseness of the covers . The head liner sags or not installed correctly . Then I some that the owner has dont as best job as she or he could have and looks good . You can always tell about an interior if it is a kit and one that went to a shop . I know my dad owned a shop . A true restored car that car will look like it came off the showroom floor . All the right marks , All the right fixtures . Everything is correct including the stitching in the seats . No after market parts one bit . Panels that needed to be replaced will be removed from the seem and a new OEM panel will be spot welded back on . Even the tires have to be OEM of the year of the car cracked or not . These car are not driven to ever show . They are hauled in . They cost way to much to be wrecked . The best ones for me are the original ones that just a clean up was performed . Cars that still have 90% or more paint left on the car . maybe you see where a seem had came loose or a clean vinyl cover over the seats . Well maybe I just should say your just talking up your own acc .
