How to knit a firework / starburst-looking stitch

  • This video demonstrates how to knit a firework or starburst-looking stitch. To set up, you will need to make elongated stitches in the previous row / round by double wrapping the involved stitches as you knit or purl them. In the subsequent row / round, you will create the pattern shape by dropping the extra wraps and then knitting the elongated stitches together.
