    How amazing he lead the decision making to go to Nagasaki after another place was burned down. The happenstance of history that is easily missed.

      After Yokoseura, they tried one more place. It led to the first naval battle between Japan and a European nation (Portugal). Nagasaki was an obscure fishing village that was a haven for pirates before the Jesuits got there.
