Satpura National Park is the largest tiger reserve in Madhya Pradesh and it is really tough to work here, I want to appreciate the efforts of forest guards and officers who work here in these tough situations.🐅✨
As a filmmaker, for me it was extremely hard to work here as well, I have tried my best to cover almost all the seasons here and the conditions here tested my patience level and I can say it was one of the hardest places where I have filmed a documentary and it took almost two years to complete this film.🎥🏜

I salute to those forrest officers who are protecting our wild life...really they are working hard..once i saw a video of kaziranga national park... man you will get shock how they are risking their lives to protect animals during rainy season...whole night they do search for lost animals..
most difficult muddy roads...urban boys can't walk even 10 steps..
They say "if you see a tiger once,it means that tiger saw you 10 times already"

Wow! What a deep and extensive research on the history, geography, cuture, fauna and flora of the place. This documentary is truely epic in all senses, including videography and voice over. I'v been to Satpuda many times but never did I know so many things about it. Being a film maker myself, this inspired me on so many levels! Thank you and congratulations for the great work. Keep making such pieces and educating the world. Its difficult not to visit/revisit all these places after watching this documentary.
PS: I am curious to know what is the white little cottage like structure on the hill top that appeared twice in the video in drone shots.

I had this poem in my Hindi subject at ARMY SCHOOL, AMBALA; and the Hindi teacher Mrs. Diwan Ma’am used to read it soo beautifully that I used to imagine myself in the Satpura forest. I still remember her rendition.
I miss Mrs. Diwan Ma’am and think of her often because I had failed in Hindi AGAIN, in my 9th but was promoted to my 10th where Diwan Ma’am took the FIRST tuition for a student- me. Because my mother fell at her feet and begged her to take tuition for me.
The result? In 1991, I got A2 in my 10th standard HINDI, this was the time we used to have positional grades. Even though English was spoken at home and consistently too, even though I got higher marks in English than Hindi, I got lower grades in English.
I shall visit this forest with my son, read him the poem - सतपुड़ा के घने जंगल, नींद मे डूबे हुए से tell my son my story and why we made the trip to this jungle.
