    I found five that I'd do, most surprising to me was the dumpling bag, I've started a lot more wips and need *nice* project bags for them, and the styling is very unique

      That’s awesome 🤩🧶 yes! I’m planning on casting on the dumpling bag too, hopefully in the next few weeks

      We have about 20 canvas bags, and they‘re just awesome. Every time I see an abandoned bag in the bushes I take it home and throw it in the washing machine - you can never have too many bags imo. I‘ve used at least ten for wips or organizing the stash.
      If you make one yourself I think mercerized cotton would be best, because it‘s so smooth. Every other yarn has a halo that adds friction which, when working directly from the bag, might cause problems. Mercerized cotton is also very easy to wash. I‘ve made wash cloths with them, and those always get washed hot. I can recommend it. ;)

    I looove the Autumn League Pullover! I've knit two of them myself. She also has a Winter League Pullover pattern that is free as well, and is knit with a heavier weight yarn, if you're looking for a quicker knit :)

    Hi! I am a beginner, love to crochet 🧶 and would love to try hand at knitting needles

      If needle knitting doesn’t work out, you could also try loom knitting. It‘s what I do, because holding the needles makes my finger joints ache.
      Loomahat and Tuteate are the channels I learned loom knitting from.

      @@ArDeeMee loom knitting is for shawls and blankets ,right?

    • @ArDeeMee
      @ArDeeMee Год назад +1

      @@Chicagochalehum I also like knitting socks, sweaters, etc. Hats are the easiest, just like with needles, but there‘s nothing you can‘t do. Sometimes you have to pull a trick to achieve the same effect as with needles, but it feels very much like crochet/tunisian crochet.
      There are different techniques, different loom sizes and gauges, you can knit tight or loose, thin or thick yarn… GoodKnitKisses does beginner and advanced tutorials and patterns, you could hop over and have a look. Loomahat has good tutorials for knitting dolls. Tuteate was my very first loom knitting channels and got me hooked (pun absolutely intended ❤️).
      If you have someone you can borrow needles from you could try that first, and if it doesn‘t work out you can dive into loom knitting tutorials to see whether it‘s for you.

    It doesn’t seem as if you feel sure about some of these patterns and some are not suitable projects for beginners. The sweater dress, for example, is a ridiculous project for a beginner because it would take months to make. Beginners should have small doable projects to enable them to experience rapid success. The hat requires knitting in the round with double pointed needles. It would have been more helpful had you knitted some of the projects that you are suggesting are good for others. Free patterns are easy to find. Ravelry is a good database.

      I’m sorry you felt like that the video was not helpful for you. My goal was to share what I found and in my opinion was easy to knit, since I do consider myself a beginner knitter. For example, I genuinely think DPNs are fairly easy to work with and the dress although a long project, has a very repetitive pattern. (Same way a lot of beginner projects are a 3 foot long scarf) . But we’re all entitled to our opinions! And I agree Ravelry can be a good source.

    I can see English isn't your first language, but maybe next time you should spell the word PATTERNS correctly on your thumbnai 👍🏻👍🏻

      Hahahaha I didn’t notice that until now! Thank you for pointing it out. Although I’ve seen native English speakers making obvious mistakes too. Not sure if this was about English not being my first language, or just trying to type fast 😜
