Swiss beauty is an affordable eyeshadow ofc it is not gonna perform like huda....huda is 5900 swiss is 500 ofc it is going to perform according to the price point. Pro tip: Never apply the skin tint with a foundation brush ! Look at the brush, you can see it instantaneously soaked up whatever product you have taken. You will never see any coverage. Try with by blending it on dots all over the face with bare hands, after all it’s skin care infused.

Any makeup artist or content creator or in this day and age a makeup enthusiast worth their salt would:
    1. Try applying a glitter eyeshadow with the help of a makeup spray spritz before completely writing a product off. In fact that is one of the most efficient tricks to make a lot of glitter or highlighter work wonders. I actually saw a certified Rare Beauty associate at Sephora teaching customers do that with their highlighting products
    2. Wouldn’t use or try a new blush or rather any blush or that matter directly from the pot to the face without dabbling off excess pigment (both powder and cream).

    1. nyx blush, eyeshadow and contour palettes do
    2. Colorpop eyeshadow palettes are amazing for a relatively affordable price
    3. Kay Beauty blushes, hands down, the best. Melt like butter, very soft powdery texture and blend like a dream. Super pigmented. Milani is also amazing for glowy, healthy blushes.
    4. Nyx, Maybelline, Kay Beauty, Faces, Iba Halal all do lipsticks well.
    5. Base products from Forever 52. Lots of makeup artists love this brand and their concealers, foundations, loose powdere (Kay Beauty loose powder is a dupe of Huda Beauty’s) and setting sprays are very good. Another amazing brand for base products is Milani.

Are you really comparing Huda with swiss?.. you need to understand that eyeshadow is not REALLY an "investment"... in India where people spend the amount of a huda beauty pallette into monthly grocery, and you dare call a eyeshadow palette an investment... And people still can want to put some makeup with low budget... And there are other brands apart from swiss beauty that actually delivers (probably not as good as huda)... But you need to cater to different audiences with different background than yours...

There's millions of affordable products out there which are so so great than any other high end. The way you're telling "that's why I stick to the expensive ones" is sounds wrong. As a beauty creator you should try and research on various famous brands before laugh at them. The whole video is look like you're just sitting there to joke and not TRY ON. Choose right on atleast. Tint doesn't go well with brushes.🙃

Hey malvika, here are some new and good lipstick recommendations from affordable brands-
Insight no smudge lip mousse lipstick
Lakme extraordinary airy lip mousse lipstick
    Insight creme matte mousse lipstick
Makeup revolution IRL whipped lip cream
Try some shades from these, I'm sure you will like them, I have bought some of these and I am loving them all.

It's quite unfair to leave negative comments accusing her of being biased towards high-end products. If you have watched her videos from the beginning, you would know that she has always been drugstore makeup girly. She has sworn by products like Maybelline Fit Me, LA Girl Pro Concealer, Maybelline Loose Powder, and Kay Beauty eyeshadow palettes. She has also made many videos discussing her drugstore favorites.
Content creators like her help us make informed decisions about which products to buy. Even when it comes to high-end products, her honest reviews make it easier for those of us who can't always afford them but want to invest in a good makeup product occasionally.
Let's not take things so personally. Let's focus on the positive takeaways.

I understand your audience is mostly young girls who wanna buy full face makeup within 5k and huda beauty will cost you 5k for just 1 product. so they lean towards drugstore products.
But when you say " i can tell with just one swatch if I am gonna use it or not" I totally get it.
I kept on using drugstore makeup and I always wondered why my makeup doesn't look as flawless as I expect it to look. Now, when I started using Bobby brown, smashbox, Nars, Chambor, Mac I know why my makeup didn't look like what I expected. It's their formula. These brands are hell lot expensive but they deliver!!! Use lakme/ maybelline on one side of your face n use huda/bobby brown on other. You will know the difference. Everything about expensive makeup is different. Buy just 1 foundation in 3 years but go for expensive base product. Buy 1 eyeshadow palette in 4 years but get the best one!

The hate on comments section is really weird. A lot of products which don't perform well actually dont perform well. Why would anyone say otherwise if they are giving honest review. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The energy to hold you back to not type anything is easier than to type something bad. Just try it folks! Don’t agree to her influencing idea if you don’t want to. Don’t buy! Don’t go for it! A blank comment section will tell more to the content creator.

U should just put ur pricey makeup & not give us makeup tutorials when u only have to rave about 5k 6k palettes. There are tons of so much better makeup under 200 but u juat cant do a good look if ur makeup isnt high end

It actually doesn't. The cost of making the palette is actually below 500 bucks for a 5k palette, 500 being the higher end. You're too obsessed with high end make up to actually understand business concepts like unit economics despite being an ex entrepreneur. @@ThatGirlInVogue

@@ThatGirlInVogue bullshit. It takes less than INR 500 to make a eyeshadow palette worth INR 5000. Being an ex entrepreneur, it's surprising how you do not know about unit economics wrt high end makeup, not to mention you have been a makeup guru for almost 9 years.

I got fixed in this video because you said the Lakme Liquid Lipstick (shown here) is a no-no because its too runny and thin which I TOTALLY AGREE !! Every one had been raving about that range since a few years now and I couldn't understand why 🤢🤢 I bought a couple of those (some brown nude shades - the colours were greaaaattt) .. I simply couldn't like that range 😐😐
Other than that, I agree drugstore is hit & miss but, I also have most of my favourites from the drugstore - just that, should be from credible and trustworthy brands.
