Fiido L3 Speed Unlock (2023) Guide

- This video will show you how to unlock the Fiido L3 (New Gen) Speed, from 15mph to 21 mph.
All you have to do hold both buttons, wait for display to start flashing, and press the top button, then the bottom button. A "MPH" icon will display to indicate it unlocked properly. Enjoy the Speed Hack.

i have the 2024 one all u do is hold "M" and the turbo thing will come up and its unlocked do the same to cap it back to legal, it will get you to about 23mph / 41km/h? i dont think u can go any faster than that.
Do you need to change the controller and display to get USB charging ?
quite possible because I was not able to get it to work.

Thanks for the video. Fiido being true to form, I see they have again varied their equipment. My L3 just arrived(Mid March 23) and this procedure does not work. It has the slightly different display - not the blue tint digits but the white. It seems to be basic and does not clock the miles, nor is there any USB port.. bummer.
That is a bummer, the older one can be unlocked as well however, using throttle and the brake method as far as I'm aware, give it a try. there is a video in my description, which is for the T1 demonstrating that method.
So is your model released after his (mid March 23)? If so, if I were to purchase today, it would be the exact same as yours right? Same display, unlockable method etc. I'm trying to avoid getting the wrong one, assuming his can't be unlocked from the other method, that is. Thanks! @@elektrotvtech
@@mkeonine I got mine 5 months ago, usa. U can email them and ask which display it will come with, I think they said different ones depending on the region. I'm usa and steve above is UK.

What model is it? What year did u buy it? This will only work for 2023 version

@@elektrotvtech yes but seems to look a bit brighter. , i contact fiido support they said its not possible to unlock... Well I give another try and see, maybe I forget something.
They told me it was not possible on mine either, I had to hunt for it. Sorry dude. Maybe they disabled it.

Hi @Dany 78, the D11 is much different process, try this;
Turn on your Fiido D11
Press power button & mode button together
Press power button until “P2” is displayed
You will see 220 - which stands for the wheel size
Press mode button, then 220 will blink
Press power button and change to 130
Press and hold power button
Press power buttton to restart Fiido D11
It may show the speed on the speedometer of Fiido D11 is now showing a lower speed - the actual speed is higher, test with GPS on phone

I think I seen the D3 unlocks on RUclips. Some are the same method, let me know how it works out. However I find that 15m/h I'd sufficient on such a small bike. Either way, u will enjoy it!

How to lock or set speed limit
You do the same thing and it locks it back at 15mph
@elektrotvtech I removed the accelerator, it shows E2. Other all works fine
