Actually, yes--at least metaphorically (even in the first run, you were hard pressed to see it as historical fiction--early medieval France and the son of Charlemagne). The show's about finding your own road/fate, as opposed to what society/family/other influences dictate.
what is the storyline for this show? btw I loved the dark skin women who won a tony the other night, she seems so sweet and beautiful also her performance was awesome:)
