I agree with what you two were saying about being spoiled. You can have a lot and still not act "spoiled". It's when parents do absolutely everything for their child and not have them develop a work ethic/think everything will be handed to them when they become spoiled. I remember when Parker was talking about how (in the future) Cove will do chores to get an allowance and stuff and so I feel like that's the difference between someone who grows up with a lot vs someone who is spoiled haha

I feel that DEEPLY when they spoke about not calling it "spoiled", but giving your child the best childhood you can. My parents both grew up in South Side Chicago. They had *nothing* as children. When me and my siblings were little we never went without. My mom, who never smiled in photos because of her teeth, got all 3 of us braces when we were young. She got braces herself just a few years ago, but she put us before her :') I'll probably be the same to my children- they're you're whole world.
Aspyn loving Indian food makes my Indian self so happy 😁 We eat Chutney with Samosa which is a kind of dip we prepare at home either of tomato or cilantro etc. It's 2 am and I am craving samosa now! ❤️

I have never understood why spoiled had always been such a negative thing. There is NOTHING wrong with someone being spoiled, as long as they have an understanding that not everyone has what they have, and to be grateful, and take care of the things they have. Obviously I mean an older child. I was an only child so I clearly got more than alot of kids with lots of siblings. But I was taught that I had more than alot of people, and never acted like I was better than anyone. Theres such a different between having a spoiled and grateful child, than having a spoiled child who isnt nice to other kids who dont have what they have, and dont take care of their things they are given. When they have the expectation to be given everything.
