Tony struggling with the hand drill with the drill press setting right there 😂😂😂😂
Drilling with a big drill bit and a small hand drill is a good way to break fingers and even a wrist. I know from experience. That's a 2 man job with a big powerful hand drill that has an extra handle so you can put a 3' foot pipe on. One guy drill and the other guy hold the pipe because the drill bit is going to lock up when it goes through.

I think it is very disrespectful to Tess,and every other woman that all these guys feel compelled to point the camera right at their butts , while filming tech- vids.Im certain the videos would get just as many views , possibly more with tastefully done camera angles and proper video editing ! My son and I are racers and we really like the street car content,building a 5 speed 2004 mustang gt right now.,.. can't wait to ride up to Columbus and get into some "shenanigans" as Bill calls it.....you guys keep up the good work ! little trick if you leave the caliper loose and have someone put pressure on the brake then tighten the caliper while your holding the brake they do not have much movement but when you hold the brake it centers the caliper as best as it can this is used when doing motorcycle brakes but it helps get that tiny bit of drag off the rotor

Rule of thumb being 100# = 0.1 seconds, so just by weight that's 0.05 quicker.

The lightest weight I had my 80 mustang down to was 2610 lbs and that was after I removed the stock k frame and installed a tubular k frame

Impressive looks only get you so far tho, then you have to stop. While these brakes are probly incredible for the track, I wonder how much braking is lost if your using them on a street car? There’s plenty of other places to lose 50 pounds, I’m not gonna steal it from the main component that’s gonna save my life, sorry

I am still wondering exactly how big Tony's smile was or if he was laughing like hell after every pass with that much nitrous leaking out into the enclosed cab space of the car right next to his helmeted head. Luckily he was still wide awake, and made it off the return road as tired and worn out as he was....truly street racer gangster for old Grandpa Hollywood that nothing worse happened than a final round loss with the multiple round Max NOS leakage situation.
Any race day that you finish undented and alive, is a great race day at the office! And any day where your office chair comes with a steering wheel and pedals, is a great work day...the addition of a dose of NOS inside the cab next to that chair is just a bonus!
Just yanking your chain Grandpa Hollywood, glad you are OK and still made rounds, was worried though that your smeller never picked it up, and that in car camera views were not a part of the pre/post round reviews...but that is the busy life of bi-coastal work all night plus a flight racers bringing us great youtube content!

Great video and editing. Your alignment is off because the rack out tie rod is on top. But probably a good idea to take it to Lucore.
Tess caught that before we let it down, the alignment and bump steer were off because of the difference in a arms. Her and I align all our cars.

The chemistry between you guys and the SRC crew is awesome. If we could get an overview of building a stock suspension fox body tips and tricks from Tony or a video on the SBE 302 record would be great!
This weeks video will be the start of getting out all the older content that we filmed during our 6 month break, including the tear down of the maverick, search for a new shell, putting the stock block motor in the mare and breaking the record, taking my stick shift car to the track and putting an 8.8 rear end and TKX in it. There’s so much content we have just waiting to be edited, but hopefully we’ll get it out soon. Tony really wants to do a “how did we get the mare so light” video that will go over everything he’s done to the car and what he still plans on doing to it, including suspension.

-2. setting the drill speed to slow-low
-3. using oil drops, small squirts - not WD-40 -> better than dry, but insufficient lubrication.
-4. sure the results can damage the body, hands, wrists - and the drill bit, drill too.

A spindle isn’t the easiest item to fixture to a drill press. I’d drill em by hand too.
