I read what Tess said about your friend passing away from a drunk driver going head on with him. Thank you for sharing his content with us. Seemed like a very talented, great guy. Very sorry for your loss of your friend.
Miss Maverick needs to be wearing safety glasses when using one of those wire brushes. I’ve seen too many eye injuries in the last 30 years in my career because an employee decided to not wear safety glasses. Can’t wait to see how these new Trickflow 227’s run. On your next SBF build, look into TMeyer inc for your rotating assembly. Perfect connecting rod centerline geometry when using a SBC connecting rod.
Ive learned a new technique when painting cast iron blocks . I heat the block up with a hand torch . When i do i can see the moisture leave the block … with the block still warm but not hot go ahead and paint it with the can of paint warm (about 80 degrees /room temp ) then spray it …. I do the same with old headers . I use bbq grille paint . Except when im done painting the headers ill heat the paint up until it dries … it dries flat black and smooth and so far it lasts for a long time … next time im going to experiment with hi heat clearcoat n try to put it on top of the bbq stove paint and heat it up to dry it afterwards if that works i can make my old exhaust like new again . And ive been painting motors with brake caliper paint Theres more colors to choose from and its hi heat paint .
I’m so glad you guys put Riley in a video, I sold him the little black coupe with the 6.0 and from that day on we literally talked everyday like we were best friends since kids! He was a top notch guy and I miss him and our conversations every single day!

Have y'all played with, aspired to have or checked into a Cleveland or at least a Cleveland style top? Or is it the crazy amount of money it costs to build one that keeps you, and lots of Ford people away from them?
Sorry to hear about your friend. When trick flow designed the intake for them, they should have raised the intake ports and copied the high port exhaust both in height and bolt pattern. Then it would really fly.
Hello from Tennessee I seen the trick flow heads you were putting on said 190cnc on them so did they take the 190's and port them out to 227's I know you said they were prototype
What an amazing tribute to Riley. Was that his mustang in the driveway? Looked to be a work in progress. It would be cool to see someone finish it for him.
Unfortunately he was driving that car when a drunk driver veered into oncoming traffic and collided with his car head on. The car was a total loss. He was in the process of restoring it and had just redone the interior.

Do you guys think fly cutting those pistons made them weak ? I saw a video where you guys greanaded the pistons up in Canada
We thought that initially, but they didn’t come apart where we cut them, they came apart where the old valve relief was.

Hey Tess do you think you’ll put the tfs 227 heads on the new maverick (new race car)
The motor for the new race car has SC1s on it, but I’m trying to convince Trick Flow to make a canted valve race head 👀
What's the cam card say what's the center line and lift and lobe separation what's the duration at 0.50 a package sounds really good though
Duration @ .050" - 250°/254°
Valve Lift with 1.6 Rocker - .595/.595
Lobe Separation - 110°

how will they compare to ported 11r 205's?
They make more power with a hydraulic roller .650 lift cam then any other street head out there
Ain't none of the other Fine Blonde women racers got shit on you your one BAD-ASS mamma Jamma #BEAUTIFULBLONDE
SC2 heads titanium intake inconel exhaust valve is the way to go.
Why would you put SC2 heads on a stock block street car?
@MissMidnightMaverick I thought you had a race block
@MissMidnightMaverick you need a block with at least a 4.125 bore or bigger.
This is our street car. We have race cars too, but we’re doing street car stuff right now.
@MissMidnightMaverick you can make a boss 302 setup with Canted valve heads
