- Bill Ganahl's 1940 Ford truck 'Jade Pearl' was awarded as 'World's Most Beautiful Truck 2023' and rightfully so with it's subtle magnificent changes to the overall body exterior and interior, this is one striking classic pick up far from it's days as a farm truck. At first glance the brilliant custom color 'Ornament Green' draws you in, only to notice the craftsmanship and detail starting off at narrowing of the grills complimented by 1939 Ford headlines. Award winning 1940 Ford deluxe pick up by SouthCity Rod and Custom featuring minor but great improvements to the original farm truck.
Might just be my favorite fitting and looking 40 front grill ever , car or truck , nice guy , great interview. Have looked at 40 fords for over 55 years , best frontend ever.

Those are beautiful trucks when done right and this is done amazingly well, so much detail that you don’t realize but the body just flows so well .. mind blowing .. I do love 383 stoker motors but this truck needs a Ford motor & emblems on the wheels to be just perfect in my humble opinion … love that colour as well !!
Your right the body flows perfectly! Appreciate your feedback what can I say to each their own, not sure if it was owner or builder choice on the engine.

another Ford has been bastardized
