If Dad had showed up back in Korea and wasn't getting thrown under the bus verbally by someone with a vendetta against Jin Woo, he probably would've been treated better.
I always though it was more like if a man was lost in the woods for 10 years fighting wild beasts, then he himself would grow and start to act more like a wild animal. So his strength combined with basically living among the beasts in the gate for so long he probably seems like a beast to civilized humans

The initial suspicion is normal, the ongoing distrust is manufactured.

From what i could gather from the manhwa, he wasn't really interested in money by this point. He mainly only joined because he was curious about how arguably one of the most powerful guilds in the country handled A rank dungeons. Hunter's guild is also the only guild in korea with 2 S ranks (Choi Jong-in and Cha Hae-in). Miners and gatherers aren't usually paid as much as the actual raiding teams.
I think he wanted to join an A rank raid so that it was on record that he joined an A rank raid and he could use that as an excuse to sell the orb. Otherwise if he showed up with the orb at an auction, with no record of ever joining B/A rank raids it would raise suspicions
edit: this answer is addressed later in the video, but I'll leave my comment. 14:56 They don't finish the boss because once the boss is defeated the dungeon will start to close, (not sure on the exact time.) They want to strip the dungeon of all valuables, (crystals mana stones, monster corpses etc.) So it's more efficient to clear the dungeon except for the boss, then send in the looting team who can take all the time they need to loot it completely without worrying about the dungeon closing, then send the fighters back in to fight the boss. It really is one of my favorite things about this manhwa, the fusion of fantasy/game elements with a modern setting with a mixed economy was a concept that was completely new to me the first time I read it. I just think it would be so funny to see a previous generation iphone on ebay, then have a 'mythril longsword of light' or whatever pop up on the recommended items and think it was completely normal..
Officially from the manhwa, Cha Haein's first appearance is that scene where she's coming out of the dungeon. All the bits you saw of her before that are completely anime-only, including first season. I liked you called the Chairman Dad. He's a very dear character, as you've seen, but I think of him more like a cool Grandpa.
In the book go gunhee's line about drinking is explained a little further. He says how much a man drinks is how much of the world he can take on his shoulders. Jinwoo is immune to alcohol since becoming a player implying he can take on anything thrown his way

The only thing missing for me in this episode was seeing Mr. Ahn's reaction to Jinwoo being an S-rank. Mostly because he sniffed him out in episode 10 of S1 and has been a big proponent of how strong he is ever since, going as far as to vouch for him to Baek and wait for him outside the red gate.

When you emit energy levels higher than what technology can measure, that is the criteria for S rank. Within the measurable range, its divided into ranks from E to A. It does also mean the power disparity between S ranks can be ridiculous. And it's implied that the strongest S rank in Korea Goh Gun Hee followed by Hae In
My theory is that his dad has also become a player like Sung jinwoo, and he is most likely the strongest, so strong that even an S rank would think that kind of power is so much high that has to come from a magical beast and not a human. Plus he was stuck for 10 years in the gate, reassuring him and everyone that he has to be a magic beast, but hwang donsoo probably said that so he could find artifacts so strong and couple more hunters to use as bait to kill the dad and the son duo

It was mentioned in the beginning of season 1, but there really is no cure for eternal sleep in normal means. There has never been anyone ever in the world who has woken up once they have fallen into eternal sleep. The potions that Jinwoo can get in his system shop is not potions that normal humans can get. You should remember that all that the shops have is magic items solely given to Jinwoo.

the one dong brother got beef with jinwoo and is trying to get his dad killed as he has a vendetta against him for his older brother getting killed, at this point jin woo is a millionaire, they don't really show it in the anime, but jinwoo got all the money from the C rank gate scam where they screwed over the tiger guild, he also got like 1 Billion for clearing all those dungeons with his lil bro as per their contract, the issue with artifacts tho is that some of them can range from the high 400ish mill to billion and he would easily lose all his wealth trying to buy something. His friend comes from old money, their family in this anime/manwha is such a old construction company they helped build most of korea which is why he can afford all that equipment like its nothing, His father understands that their wealth isn't unlimited though due to the fact that parts from mobs in dungeons sell for ridiculous amounts of money as the world begins to rely more on those materials and clean energy sources and so he's trying to get his construction company more established by creating a guild which is what both his sons have been doing from different points of entry.
Hwang Dongsoo has a grudge against Jinwoo and an ego the size of Alaska so is claiming that Papa Sung is not human is a lie. Jinwoo is mining in the Eric dungeon basically as a money laundering scheme, to justify having some of the equipment he has to sell. Until he gets his license, he is still officially an E-rank. I'm hoping they don't leave out the next few chapters. It's a nice bit of World building and character building. I guess we'll see.

It's not really well explained in the anime, but someone's aura is basically a visible indicator of how strong someone is. Yes, Hae-in is waifu material, but she's also the strongest hunter Jin-woo has encountered so far. She's not aura farming for nothing🤣🤣
Why they didn't kill the boss? Because if they do, the Gate will collapse. Since the Bosses of Dungeons don't leave their area, it's much better to clear the Dungeon minus boss, then have workers take their time to mine the shit out of the magic stones, like Jin-Woo. Though Sung Jinwoo only signed up simply to get a record of entering an A-Rank Dungeon because the Magic Item he's trying to sell is way too OP and he didn't want to attract attention. The anime is cutting a lot from the Manhwa 😅 Still fun, but you guys might enjoy reading it. They're basically leaving out a lot of the lore, guild politics and the characterization of the supporting cast. Just saying. They realy messed up the best line of the episode from jinwoo's dad.. The line was supposed to be.. "stay away from him "from jinwoo", it's for your own sake, if you don't.. you wouldn't be able to rest even after your death" Which means he's referring to jinwoo's ability to rise the dead.. They want to strip the dungeon of all valuables, (crystals mana stones, monster corpses etc.) So it's more efficient to clear the dungeon except for the boss, then send in the looting team who can take all the time they need to loot it completely without worrying about the dungeon closing, then send the fighters back in to fight the boss.
It really is one of my favorite things about this manhwa, the fusion of fantasy/game elements with a modern setting with a mixed economy was a concept that was completely new to me the first time I read it. I just think it would be so funny to see a previous generation iphone on ebay, then have a 'mythril longsword of light' or whatever pop up on the recommended items and think it was completely normal..

In the book go gunhee's line about drinking is explained a little further. He says how much a man drinks is how much of the world he can take on his shoulders. Jinwoo is immune to alcohol since becoming a player implying he can take on anything thrown his way

The only thing missing for me in this episode was seeing Mr. Ahn's reaction to Jinwoo being an S-rank. Mostly because he sniffed him out in episode 10 of S1 and has been a big proponent of how strong he is ever since, going as far as to vouch for him to Baek and wait for him outside the red gate.
I missed watching Hwang's flashback more complete. They cut the part where Jinwoo's dad is actually helping people out of the debris.

My theory is that his dad has also become a player like Sung jinwoo, and he is most likely the strongest, so strong that even an S rank would think that kind of power is so much high that has to come from a magical beast and not a human. It was mentioned in the beginning of season 1, but there really is no cure for eternal sleep in normal means. There has never been anyone ever in the world who has woken up once they have fallen into eternal sleep. The potions that Jinwoo can get in his system shop is not potions that normal humans can get. You should remember that all that the shops have is magic items solely given to Jinwoo.
Just so you know Cha Hae-in has actually gotten more screen time in the anime as she didn't appear till just now in the Manhwa.

His friend comes from old money, their family in this anime/manwha is such a old construction company they helped build most of korea which is why he can afford all that equipment like its nothing, His father understands that their wealth isn't unlimited though due to the fact that parts from mobs in dungeons sell for ridiculous amounts of money as the world begins to rely more on those materials and clean energy sources and so he's trying to get his construction company more established by creating a guild which is what both his sons have been doing from different points of entry.

It's not really well explained in the anime, but someone's aura is basically a visible indicator of how strong someone is. Yes, Hae-in is waifu material, but she's also the strongest hunter Jin-woo has encountered so far. She's not aura farming for nothing🤣🤣

Since the Bosses of Dungeons don't leave their area, it's much better to clear the Dungeon minus boss, then have workers take their time to mine the shit out of the magic stones, like Jin-Woo. Though Sung Jinwoo only signed up simply to get a record of entering an A-Rank Dungeon because the Magic Item he's trying to sell is way too OP and he didn't want to attract attention. Old habits die hard, he will not suddenly be dumb like ogre reckless after deciding to stop hiding his strength. Probably also to show that caution is in his nature.
