I’m single but love watching this show. I was in a relationship with my daughter father but he passed and I haven’t been in relationship since been 8 years. Watching this makes me want to find that love again.

I think what's important is to do the check-in without fighting, without personalizing it and making your partner out to be the villain and not loving you. You just randomly grab them in the middle of the busyness of life and make-out. Take the laptop/dishrag/whatever out of their hand and just hold them. I'm here for that!

I remember when I relocated to the area where I live... co-worker was talking about growing in the hood with no father. She says "you know how was." I was like nope. I grew in a rural area 2 parent house hold. Chick was ready to fight me - said I was lying. After I reminded her that we FIGHT differently in the country , she killed all that nonsense. But my childhood had its issues even in a 2 parent household. The neighborhood was the same - even though some of the dads and moms was in the Streets! I think we have to realize those fairy tales don't translate to real life. Relationships, marriage , children, careers- THAT SHIT IS HARD SOMETIMES!!!

BEING REAL! I'm so pleased to see young couples who are willing to show the world that we're humans--who happen to be black! but GOD is our greatest example of love and WE like it too, i.e., LOVE. From an 84 yr older who was married for 47.5 yrs to my high school sweeetheart, until my husbands's death. I still get goose pimples when I think about his person! O yea!!

They’re such a beautiful ,loving couple. I’ve watched DeVale and Khadeen’s videos. I’m glad they keep it real. You have to prioritize family life. It’s not always easy. My kids are grown now. I will be 50 on Sept. 30. I have 4 adult children. We had a routine back in the day. I have known my husband since I was 18 years old he was 21. We’re still together. He’s a good, hardworking man. I love him and I’m proud of the man he has become. Shoutout to all couples who are the epitome of Black Love. 👏🏾 ❤️🙏🏾

I would like to hear the couples talk more about a growth mindset in their relationship. How do they deal with their evolving relationship. There needs to be a conscious commitment to that because ppl do not stay the same and the dynamics of a relationship changes. How are these things addressed or they simply ignored until there is a problem.
