- The story of Aeneas and Dido is one the most memorable episodes in Virgil's Aeneid. After escaping Troy during the Greek plundering of the city, Aeneas leads his people on an adventure destined to ignite the eventual founding of Rome. But when Aeneas lands in Carthage, Aeneas puts his destiny on hold to romp with the Queen magnificent city. The story teaches us the importance being responsible, even when there are more comfortable options on the table.

Thank you for providing this perspective! I'm going all over RUclips trying to find explanations on the Aeneid haha. Thanks~
My pleasure. Epic poems are fun to talk about, especially the ones with Trojan War heroes.
This is awesome! I hope you are able to continue making this kind of content!
I might need to soon, the video has picked up a little over the past couple months.
THANK YOU. 🙂
More please! 🙏
Thanks for the recap! Literally got a test tomorrow so you're a life saver haha
These videos are really good! Very inspiring! I wish you the best of luck with your undertakings!
Wow!! The message just hits me hard. Thanks 👍🏻
My pleasure!
Dido cursed Aeneas before she died and caused the whole carthage vs rome riff years later.
and she also didn't forgive him when they met later in the underworld
Thank you for this ❤️ hope you'll gain more subscribers
Glad you enjoyed!
Aeneas is the last Trojan to enact a revenge on the Greeks, one millennia from their time through his offspring.

Excellent, good job! Check out Muzio Clementi’s sonata which was inspired by this story.
I will! Thanks for the recommendation
Oh I almost forgot .
Could you please tell me where I can find the article you mentioned in your video .
Thank you !
I’m actually not sure where it is. I heard someone read excerpts from it on a podcast, it was pretty wild. Some SF newspaper I think.

Oh ok thank you
I really like your videos - you have a lot of really good takes about film, I thought a video about anus and dildo sounded uncomfortable and not my style I was surprised that it was entirely different than what I was expexting
Who else is watching this for school???
🔱
Hi again.
I'm just 15 and I don't and can't know what kind of content the majority of your subscribers would likto watch and it's just my own opinion but maybe it's better to stick with content most people can relate in some way .
Personally I really enjoyed your videos about better call Saul or again about JoJo rabbit .
Both great analysed.
Got me a better and deeper understanding that I couldn't have gained otherwise .
I hope that it helps you somehow 🙂
Otherwise , thank you for your great content !!
Keep going !
I appreciate the advice, those definitely seem to do better. At the end of the day, I just make videos on things I like and find interesting, I don't have any expectation of this channel having a huge audience. Glad you like my videos though, means a lot.
@@LifeIsAStory
Sure .
You should definitely do whatever you like and find interesting.🙂
It is definitely noticeable that you do it with passion.
That's why I was thinking for a while if I should write this because it sounds like if the content Creator schuld do whatever the audience like but I hope it didn't sound like that .
@@lekonda5526 No, not at all. It's better for creators to narrow their focus for growth. You're right about that. It was just sort of a test. It's been tough to make videos with no movies coming out since that is what I wanted most of my content to be. Analysis videos I mean.
@@LifeIsAStory
Right .
It's very hard to find something people are interested in especially in the current situation i guess.
How ever wish you the best .
@@lekonda5526 Thanks, appreciate it.
