I've subscribed William with notifications. Keep up the good work. I recently went on a guided tour of Dorchester prison and was surprised how narrow the wings are, associations must of been a nightmare.
I really appreciate that mate. Yes some prisons were built in the Victorian era and are far from practical. A lot of the cells were designed as single cells, they now all have two people in them.
Yh years ago juveniles 15 to 17 couldn't get extra days I'm not sure about now I've listened to quite a lot of your stuff and your portland stories brought back memories of my yoi days my local one was brinsford don't know if you've heard of it but when I was in there early 2000's inspectors said worst yoi in the country and I've heard still same today then when I turned 21 my local was hmp Birmingham aka the green another one with a reputation but I find it OK it's just how you conduct yourself

I never went to Channings Wood. I always asked for Dartmoor. How was it there?
It wasn't to bad to be honest same as everywhere else good and bad points the worst thing was the distance from home being from Birmingham I was right out of the way lol funnily enough the wing I went on there was another brummie on there so we just chilled together

I'm not surprised at all the female officers have relationships with prisoners.
From your videos describing prison I get sense there is a strong masculine hierarchy in jails of men jostling for the top hard man positions.
Woman are attracted to masculine men who reach top of hierarchy's, for many of these female officers this may be the only hierarchy of this nature they are exposed too and the top men who would have to be extremely competent to get this status in a prison will be attractive to a women.
I remember when I was boxing and finally after boxing a while I got some sustained success and with that came a certain status among my camp mates boxing, suddenly the woman who used the gym for several years that I was there started taking a interest in me and sending signals hahaha, I had never had a woman approach me in my life was always me approaching them.
The success I was finally having and perceived status as a result mad me attractive to women, I suspect the same in these prison cases.
That's a really interesting viewpoint. It was the same when I sold drugs and everyone in town knew me, I would have women throwing themselves at me. I live in the same town now, I may not be as young, but nothing, no women (other than my wife) show any interest.
