at around 5:20 when explaining conflict victories you get the way 3rd might get paid wrong. If 2 players tie for 1st they get 2nd and the third player gets nothing. if 2 players tie for second then they both get third. . @@redbeansdice6151 I just have one more question. What will happrn If i recruit my army with first Agent on Rally Troops and then with second agent i land on Combat space, for example on Carthag. Can i deploy those four units that i recruited with first agent or only those that i got for landing on Carthag + 2 in my garrison?
@@iphatbass rally troops is not a combat zone so all of those troops just go directly to your garrison. Moving to Carathage gives you 1 troop you may immediately put into battle or your garrison, THEN you may only put up to 2 troops from your garrison in. And thats for every time you land on a combat zone. You can only ever add 2 troops from you garrison when landing on a combat zone! I hope that answers ur question! Let me know if that makes sense and if you have any other questions! 🤘😁
At 40:03 when Raban goes to the hall of oratory and he’s out of troops in the supply I don’t believe he gains anything at all. Once he’s out, he’s out. BUT what im not sure of is whether the card is skipped and another is drawn for him
One of my all time favorite games. Can’t wait for expansions. Would really enjoy seeing an expansion that actually adds the makers (sandworms) in some way, instead of abstracting them as the spice blooms.
Absolutely!!! And i feel like they could keep the expansion price in the 10- dollar range! Because it would just be cards most likely. Also some more interesting conflict cards would be nice. Thanks for watching and the awesome comment Brandon! 🤘😁
Thanks Federico! I had a fun time makin the video! If you dont have the game yet i highly recommend grabbin it! Thanks for checkin out my video and the kind words! 🤘😁
@39:16 You gave Rabban a Victory Point (bonus from Spacing Guild Influence track), however I believe Rivals can't get bonuses for the Faction's tracks, only the Faction Alliance Token can be gained. Rules say: "The Rival advances on the indicated Influence track. It earns no bonuses from an Influence track, but it will take a Faction Alliance if able." Good play through otherwise and thanks. Edit: Just read some clarifications. It seems that 'bonuses' are only on the 4th space of the tracks, so therefore Rivals can gain Victory Points from the 2nd space. Sorry for the confusion.
Oh yah its a little confusing when it comes to rivals and the rulebook is not too much help lol. I do mess up all the time so I appreciate people helpin me out! Thanks for checkin out the video and the comment SteelBreeze!!! 🤘😁
They have a deluxe pack now with some fancy miniatures in case you hate the cubes haha :D as you can probably glean I'm not the biggest fan of cubes. good explanation of the game
C22dragoon I think I worded that poorly. He started with 1 and then gained another along the way and then the singular intrigue card he won from combat made 3 total. He didnt win three from combat! I was just showing all 3 to let you guys know he was trading them in for a victory point! My bad! Anywho thanks for watching and hope that cleared up any questions! 🤘😁
Very cool game, cannot wait for expansion. We need at least more variety for Conflict cards! By the way, if you play with app you also get card there where you trash some cards in Imperium row yo cycle cards quickly. For solo is good!
I saw they had an app! It looks awesome! I agree with the conflict cards. It probably wouldnt be that expensive to put 3-5 more in level 1-3... If they could put out a $15- $20 dollar expansion that would be amazing! New characters... maybe more board spaces to travel? 🤔
The cards left in hand + any bonuses from tiles you captured on the board. Though if you have sth like Liet Kynes in your hand at the end (Reveal phase), she gets her bonus from all Fremen cards in play, i.e. in your hand AND the cards you played this round (Agent phase)
Hey you do some mistakes! When you out of troops resources you cannot get more troops! Then. When you play agents cards you play cards in front of you and keep it there until reveal turn! After reveal you put all cards in discard pile! There is some effects can works there together
You are absolutely right on the agent cards! If they dont have any affects i put them in the discard but they should stay out! Ill put something in the video description! Good rule catch! Im not 100% sure what you mean by the troops. Can you put a time stamp where i messed up or try wording it differently?
@@redbeansdice6151 I mean when you have no troops left in reserve for Raban you take big market and use it as 5 troops! If there is no troops in supply there is no more troops yo add until they die
Awesome Oleg! Thanks for the help! Ill post a comment here shortly and pin it so people can see and learn! Thx for the help! May the Dune gods be good to you! Thx again for watching! 🤘😁
You mentioned that trashing the Seek Allies card was mandatory and that all agent cards where you play an agent are mandatory. I don't think they are ALL mandatory as stated in the rules. Many cards you can play an agent and choose not to activate the gray area. Is there a way to be more clear on which ones are optional and which ones are mandatory? Thanks for the video though!
Oh man, i really havent played this game in a bit. But i do remember that you can either play the card with an agent or keep it in reserve to buy from the available pool. I bet BGG/reddit will have better info on that. Sorry I couldnt be more help. Thanks for checkin out the vid & the comment! 🤘😁
Can I use two daggers to modify my combat strength? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do to modify my strength during the combat phase. I get the hagal cards but I'm just a bit confused. Thanks
Hey James sorry for the late reaponse!!! If you play your dagger for one of your agent moves you do not get the combat bonus. But if you save your dagger(s) for the reveal phase/turn thats when the bottom part triggers and you will claim any bonus! Whether its combat bonus, money, troops it will all be gained at that moment.
