One of Saiki's absolute best vocal performances for me (aside, from their acoustics), a solo section by Misa and Kanami that is not only beautifully played, but also matches the lyrics perfectly, making you wonder "What was there before? The lyrics, or the instrumental?". I mean, we all know that Kanami comes around the corner first with the instrumental and only then the lyrics are added, but how well does that fit, please? :) But the not so secret star for me is Akane with her galloping beats from the beginning to the almost brutal end. :) 🤘🏻 _____________________ 「 _'Our rock never dies ever. The Band recorded the video in an abandoned section of a rock quarry in Japan. The area had a small lake. People can pay a small fee and tour that section.
No the music was recorded in the studio. The music video done in the quarry. The fan club page has the making of the video film. Yes very hot that day. Nice video magic to sync everything. Really looking forward to hearing this live in Houston and New York soon.
From Japan The pond, also known as the Unmapped Pond, is a quarry cut out of stone and filled with water. If don't drain the water, the water level will rise.
I went to two of their concerts and the crowd went bananas when this started. What’s crazy is their ability to flawlessly pull all this off (including the long vocal high notes) live.
You have a lot of really good observations...especially the point about Saiki's rap voice being much lower than her singing voice. I hadn't thought about that before.
Great analysis as usual...perfectly articulating what is special about these maid's work here. I agree about the symbolism of this video...represents how they've quarried a big damn layer-cake hole in my rock 'n' roll world for sure :-) MISA's bass notes all through this song are like big flat even slabs of tone...and the back-end of this song is insane, unpredictable moments. After all that, there's still the lyrics to pick over and no surprise they're a decent offering by Miku...no doubt lot's of collaboration with Saiki in this rap-tastic presentation. Awesome!!
You pick up on more than a lot of seasoned musicians do. Are you sure you're not secretly a musician? 😉 Always a great pleasure to watch your reactions! Be well! 😎🤘
Hi VM, great reaction. You mention Saiki's deep voice in the rap section, actually that is very close to her speaking voice, she has a very deep natural voice (raspy) you can hear her in her interviews, its very raspy and low, which love and most madiacs love too.
It was almost 100 degrees when they filmed this. Very uncomfortable. So many elements in the song. Glad you spoke about most of them. They are such a wonderful sounding band. With so many different parts of the song to just enjoy.
Great song and beautiful video! Especially love the MISA solo's, Kanami solo, and Miku high note! Love the Pigeon scream, Po!
Yyeess all was just perfect and thank you 😁
@@venicerealm I hope you go on and finish the song, you stopped a little short, just sayin!
Now we are hearing Influencer LIVE during 2022 USA Tour and surrendering our love to the Maids. That's a real Hunky Dory Day! Thx, VenMag!

The theme to Dawn Winery by Band Maid is best for you to see . Right in your wheel house.
Thanks Venice!
You are really good at this. What is your musical background?

Thanks for returning to BAND-MAID!
This was filmed at a rock quarry in the Ishikiri Mountains in Kasama, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Wow thank you for sharing cause it is an amazing place 😁

Amazing as always!
Aaww thank you 😁
You fell into the trap they set when you paused right after the first bass solo🤣
Yeah i did but at least i realised it and started it from the bass solo again😅
@@venicerealm You sure did, but you know what, I think "starting from bass solo again" was a part of their trap as well😁
