For a 2011 RAV4, you do not need to remove the airbag or the steering wheel. Just Remove the upper and lower steering column covers and separate the two halves. Unplug the two white connectors and use a flat screw driver to disengage the switch from the steering column. That is It. Takes no more than 20 minutes to complete.

I finally see how to remove the two white plugs on the bottom of the switch, the other videos skip over this. Thanks

It doesn't show me any wiper switches and it tells me to use more general terms a d I've tried windshield wiper switch or lever or interior steering wheel switches..nothing 🤔 maybe you can find it? 😉 I'd really appreciate it man. I absolutely love all you guys videos for my 2008 rav 4 I've do almost everything but drop a new engine and tranny. Which did blow u nDer warranty, thank god!! So only have about 30,000 miles on them both and I've replaced or atleast cleaned and well maintained everything else. Just this lever or switch does allow me to turn up or down the speed of the wipers. Everything else works fine. Plus my muffler is knocking a little so I'm hoping some 3 1/4 inch hose clamps will do the trick for that. Thank you so much for showing me everything so far guys ❤ 💙 💜 💖 💗

Good video. The only problem is that there are other videos that show how to do this without removing the airbag and associated wiring requiring less work. But this is still very informative otherwise and gives you insight the other videos do not.

Could you please put the video link for that video. I would like to learn if there is an easier way to replace the switch.

As I can understand, you do not necessarily need to take off the drivewheel, as the switch can came off with it on the place!

Thank you for the Video. Is it the same way with RAV4 2019?
