Okay, now I don't feel as depressed about having broken my leg and being forced to use a walker (because it made me feel old), since I kept falling when on crutches. This little kid rocks it! I even feel kind of bad by how I felt now, like judgemental. We shouldn't be so hard on ourselves!
That man is not only doing wonders for that toddler, but he could be doing it for millions of people. Kindness is a snowball effect that can never be stopped 🙂🤍❤🌍

I lost my right leg above the knee February 1st this year in a motorcycle accident and I’m learning to use my prosthetic now. It’s been a long road but seeing things like this encourages me.

That encouragement would help many kids that have had there leg amputated and I know our 7 yr old son had his right leg amputated because of cancer and he had a prosthetic but never really got a chance to really embrace it the doctors told us that if the leg is amputated above the knee that the bone does not continue to grow THAT WAS A LIE our Emgee kept telling us the prosthetic did not fit right well his bone was growing so he had to get it shaved down so the prosthetic was a battle 😭💔😭💔
I hope things have improved since then for your son and yourselves and your son now has a prosthetic that fits perfectly for your son to be able to walk whilst wearing it, not being awful but those dr's sound like a bit of an idiot, I am not a doctor but even I know bones continue to grow unless you reach around the age of 21 or something happens pretty badly to the bone to cause it to stop growing like I hurt my back when I was 19, it stopped growing and even went in reverse and now am like a few inches smaller than I once was and a lot smaller than I should've been
@@tvaholicsquidney No our Emgee never really got a chance to really use the prosthetic because his bone kept growing 😞 he was a very active child and nothing kept him from swimming trampoline and his go cart but the cancer kept coming back he was 10 yrs old he died in my arms at home 😭😭😫💔💔 I can’t describe the PAIN of watching him suffer through chemo and operations he was lucky that he never got sick and only got a fever 2 times , our little family will never be the same 😭💔

The lil baby is so strong! Prosthetics can be heavy and very painful, and he’s pushing through.
No mam, mostly prosthetic legs are not much heavy, it's light weighted so that we can walk easily or move our leg comfortably
