Liga Portugal generates just over 500 million euros in revenue per season, and the bigger 3 clubs, Benfica, Porto and Sporting, get the bigger cut on it. The difference between what those 3 get from the league and what the other clubs get is huge and that gap makes our league less competitive and fair, as the first club in the league gets like 40 or 50 million a year from the league, the last one get 1 or 2 mil. Portuguese players are not better than British ones. But I see one major difference, I don't think Bernardo Silva would have made it past England's youth academies. There are plenty of Brits that have the same body as Bernardo Silva, but they never make it. British academies put a lot of emphasis on speed and strength almost from the beginning, Silva would look like shite in England's youth divisions against those kids of Caribbean descent. England like France puts a lot of emphasis on physicality, Portugal and Spain do not. Iberian coaches value different things. They know from experience that African players go through puberty earlier and excel in the youth system. See, the Portuguese and Spanish coaches make this calculation whether they know it or not. snuck in bruno like we wouldn't notice
You Forget to say that BENFICA is considered on the Top 10 biggest european clubs of all time. And The kind of structure Benfica has. Its Impossible to match or to copy. Red Bull cant, neither any big oil company. Or some magnat trying to show of. Mounting an Youth academy, having the best scouts, the top facilities . Takes time at least 15 years to get proper results. No rich man or company are willing to spent time. So they spend The only thing they have...money
Best player in the thumbnail is Bruno Fernandes
been absolute wank this season. he's like the sixth best portuguese player in the league rn
🤣🤣ederson is pal Bruno has been shit and found out this season now he isn’t conning a pen every other game
He should not be in this video, he is not a talent.
Facts
Haha I just googled this the other day.
Braga were knocked out by rangers
Why Does Portugal Produce SO MUCH Premier League Talent?!
We eat a lot of garlic
It´s because of the Methuen treaty!
Did he just say braga were on course for the semi final of the Europa league lol
I’m gonna day it, when Pep leaves City his next move should be to Benfica. That club, that talent, his philosophy and watch them win or come close to winning the UCL.
as a benfica supporter that would be a dream come true, he could break our european curse
Why so many Portuguese Are in premier league
Ederson🤷♂️
simple Portuguese league don't have the money to keep this talents play in the league
The point is why people are going to Portugal to buy expensive players? clubs can’t keep talents because big clubs go there and spend huge money.
Why the country's size and population has go to do with producing very high quality footballers...??!!!! In your opinion..🤔🤔
So much,as your knowledge abaut football.
Why is Ederson in the thumbnail?
Benfica academy player
Cause he is from Benfica academy. And he supports Benfica
The reason: codfish and sardines 🐟
Jorge Mendes
it doesn't. Jota is more of a wolves product, because a) he barely played in the portuguese league, b) he didn't play at atlético madrid. Luis Diaz is the only one that truly seems to be world class, the others are just good or average. Bad training grounds, huge debts, dodgy loans...
Hold tight. Help is on the way
@@migpinx relax yourself brav
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jota was the best young player of the year while playing Paços de Ferreira.
Bad training grounds 😂😂😂 have you been to Portugal? No, I don't think so 'brav' loool
French league punching air rn
why is Ederson in the thumbnail...
Because he played on Benfica since he was a teenager.
A team to Benfica win champions league, by players Benfica sold and are STILL PLAYING: GK Ederson Oblak, RD : Cancelo, Semedo, CB, Witsel , Lindelof, Ruben Dias, LD: Grimaldo, CM : Enzo Fernandez, Renato Sanches, Matic LM : Di Maria, RM : Bernardo Silva CF: João Félix, Talisca, Jota, Striker: Gonçalo Ramos , Darwin Nunez, Gimenez etc etc ❤ Benfica ❤
Where's Jota??
He meant Why PL teams choose to sign players from the Portugese League.
@@Zero_Requiem yeah but Emerson isn't Portuguese he's Brazilian though
@@glennbarry5046 He came from Benfica
@@glennbarry5046 he played on Benfica since he was a teenager.

Do u know brazil

Dam
How’d Neves sneak on that thumbnail?
Why is Ederson in the thumbnail? Disliked!
Ederson is Brazilian
yes he is Brazilian but he gain his name while he was playing in Benfica
They talking about the league lad
HG in São Paulo and Benfica. Get your info before spitting nonsense
Dude at least watch the vid b4 commenting.
If not u will look stupid.
He went to benfica with 14/15 years
ederson aint portugese
But he played for Benfica
Ronaldo was not a Sporting produced player...He played in 2 clubs before...Nacional Da Madeira was the club that made him what he is, when sporting went to contract him...Sporting ONLY Exported his talent!
Nani is another lie, NANY was "produced" and was a junior player already. Played in REal MAssama...and then was "bought" by sporting...Nani was not produced by sporting!
EDERSON? LMAOOOO
He was part of benfica's academy and played for Rio Ave and Benfica.
He never played professionally in Brazil so yes he owns a lot to the Portuguese academy.
Aí brazuca ele jogou no Benfica desde criança. Da próxima vez utiliza o Google antes de falares besteiras.
Inspired by Ronaldo 😭😂
I'm sorry, but Luis Diaz formed himself as a player in Colombia. Not portugal.
Yes he did play in the colombian league but he was completely unknown outside the colombia when he sign for Porto.
His achievements at Porto that lead to signing by Liverpool.
@@rocky1169pt Of course, but his fundamentals were learnt on Colombia not portugal.
I think that adding him to this video it's, at least, a bit dodgy.
Plus I must add that he was'nt known on Europe but he was displaying a great level of football in the Copa Libertadores, at a club that was'nt all that good.
@@Kinnugan you could honestly say his fundamentals were not learnt on Colombia but by himself. He did not play in any professional team until the age of 18.
@@RandomGuy-vo1mu He was'nt formed in any academy but he was part of Colombia's indigenous national team, chosen by el pibe Valderrama.
Plus from age 18 to 22 he played in Colombia's first division, so I think is fair to say that his fundamentals were learnt over there.
I don't think Porto would have payed 7.2 million euros for a barely developed 22 year old.
@@Kinnugan I get what you mean. He did have some years of training in Colombia. I guess what i'm saying is that you must be extremely extremely talented to get into a side like Liverpool after only 6 years of professional football and only 2 years in Europe. He has the type of talent which would flourish no matter what country he was born in/played at.
