Happy birthday, Mrs. HCC788! You're support and willingness to be in these reviews make them extra special. Hoodie, glad you got the complete figure thanks to patrons. If you got it through ebay, sorry if I bid against you.
My brother and I sent off for this figure and filled out all the custom info. I named mine Shipmate Nash, kind of a patronage to my favorite Joe as a kid Shipwreck. They were shipped in like a small poster tube. Really liked the figure, but I sort of remember trading him to a friend or family member or possibly toy vendor. Somehow managed to save the patch and filecard. Wished I would held onto him.
Hoodie, I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. Happy Birthday, Mrs. HCC! I want to thank you, and them, for all of your time and effort that goes into entertaining and educating us about the greatest toy line ever produced! I look forward to many more years of content.
Great video review of the G.I. Joe Gold Head Bridgade, it sure has a lot of interesting information about the action figure and a very happy birthday to Susan, I wish you many more in the future.
Hi Connor Who What ( new you tuber ) had a Top ten GI joe list kid showed a Gold head and said you had a awesome video on this figure .. kid was right thanks great video
Mine never came with a gun and one fall semester in 2003 i had momma stitch my patch onto my tiger stripe jacket. That patch had been in my drawer for 11 years.
Happy Birthday to Susan! Hope you had a great birthday weekend and didn't get a combined birthday/Christmas gift, unless it was really, really special!
Joes did this awesome, named my mail-in one Trigger Happy, and that's well before I Enlisted in The Marine Core. However, Bobby did make an awesome one.
Liked instantly for Susan's support! Happy birthday! Thanks for supporting Brian and sharing him with us all! I too have an awesome and geek supportive wife. We are lucky men indeed!
Happy Birthday to the Misses! I’m fairly new to your channel Commander and have been enjoying the great content! Having a good time catching up on older videos and look forward to new ones in the coming year.
Hilarious intro!!!! I kinda like the colors myself. A little confused by the golden grenade. Sounds like a bizarre wartime award, doesn't it? "And the winner of the 2019 Golden Grenade goes to...." Ok, maybe not. I also dig the gold pistol but I'd really like to have seen that as an actual accessory. That would have been very cool. Anyway, great vid, HCC! Happy Birthday, Mrs. HCC!!! Looking forward to next year!! Peace!
You know hcc788. I belive for gi joe collectors Hasbro should re use this idea of creating your own gi Joe and cobra figures I'd totally love that idea
Great review, also happy birthday susan, glad to be part of the gold steel brigade, this has been a great journey to end the year, next year journey will be amazing and interesting, let's make 2020 even better.
I had this figure! Wonder if I still have it somewhere. If I still have it, It's in excellent condition still, and I probably still have the gun and backpack!
Awesome intro! I had no idea there was a gold version. I still have mine but he's in dire need of a new O ring. I'm not sure where my file card is. I remember he was Special Forces and had both karate and computer training. He was always carrying around Mainframe's computer basically replacing him lol.
If you go after this figure, remember the words of Spock: "After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true."
Grand Slam/Flash only had extra sculpting on the upper arms in the straight arm versions, the swivel arms just had patches of red paint instead of sculpted padding.
@Man of Action I mean the "Unreleased Pre-Production" joecon 2005 Green top, white pants, green boots version gold head SB, not the regular 2005 joecon gold head SB or 2005 silver head SB both with the greyish clothes. Not those 2. This is rare Unreleased figure Im talking about. Most people don't collect or know about this figure. Its more rare then the tiger force steel brigade that goes for over 2k.
That intro is hands down worthy of labelling Gold Steel Brigade as the holy grail that he is.
That opening was GENIUS.
Super Jelly on this one. He's the only vintage 3 3/4" Joe I need from 82-94.
SEO Toy Review I actually have one that I will be posting for sale soon. It has gun and patch but no backpack. Hit me up if you’re interested :)
Gold Head Steel brigade:The Holy grail of Gi joe action figures!
That intro deserves a like!
my thoughts exactly....
Happy birthday to your Deputy Commander, Mrs HCC.
Happy birthday Susan!!!!
I remember sending away for this one, but never received it. They should have given him a jetpack, too.
Happy birthday, Mrs. HCC788! You're support and willingness to be in these reviews make them extra special. Hoodie, glad you got the complete figure thanks to patrons. If you got it through ebay, sorry if I bid against you.
Thank you!
Brilliant intro! . . .Kubrickian . . . it's an honour to support this channel.
The intro to this video is the greatest intro you've ever done!!!
Thank you Mrs Hoody CoCo, you have to put up with so much, God bless you!

1:27 Susan embodies what a wife should be.
Gracias por mantener a gi joe vigente y con vida para nosotros.
Best intro ever! I laughed pretty hard
That intro is the best lmao.
Happy birthday mrs. HCC788
Happy birthday Mrs. HoodedCobraCommander 788! Thanks for your support of the guy, we all support!
Your wife’s such a good sport-great intro. LOL on the colors being “punishment.”
Ok, I’m commenting after just watching the intro! Fantastic! 😂
Ok now back to the video.
Happy birthday, Mrs. HCC788!

Happy Birthday Susan! Great review. If my son had that figure it probably would've been used as a pilot or a tank crew.
Opening was epic. Hilarious 😂 👍🏼
Love the Intro this brought a happy tear to my eye :) Love Steel Brigade
Hello there, HCC! I believe this figure came from my childhood collection! Glad I found your review & it was great seeing him again! Thanks!!

Happy birthday Mrs. HCC788 and a merry Christmas to the whole HCC clan!
Great review. Wish I'd bought a few more as a kid!!
The misses is a good woman. The only proof I need of how supportive a partner she is in your life, is this absurd intro.
That opening was legit funny as hell... Must be a collectors inside joke ...great vid.
Hilarious intro!!!!

"And the winner of the 2019 Golden Grenade goes to...."
Ok, maybe not. I also dig the gold pistol but I'd really like to have seen that as an actual accessory. That would have been very cool.
Anyway, great vid, HCC! Happy Birthday, Mrs. HCC!!!
Looking forward to next year!!
Peace!
That intro was fantastic 😆
2001 is my all time favorite movie lol
Happy belated birthday.
You know hcc788. I belive for gi joe collectors Hasbro should re use this idea of creating your own gi Joe and cobra figures I'd totally love that idea
Happy birthday Mrs HCC. Loved the Monty Python Holy Grail scene. Awesome
Excellent review and I loved the introduction. Happy Birthday, Mrs. HCC788!
Great review as always. Happy 21st birthday, Susan😉
I love the concept of this figure. Color on the first figure was better. GI Joe should have done this earlier.
Happy Birthday Susan!! 🎉🎊
Have a Merry Christmas Brian and Susan!
Had 2 of these as a kid
I never had one, so from the pics, I always thought the head was from wild weasel. lol
It's been a great year, and I'm looking forward to 2020 with Hoodie!!
I originally wanted to collect my birth year, 1992.
This figure and Ninja Viper keep that as a dream only. It’s sad
Great review, also happy birthday susan, glad to be part of the gold steel brigade, this has been a great journey to end the year, next year journey will be amazing and interesting, let's make 2020 even better.
Congrats on the pickup! Good to learn about the variants. Thanks for sharing your time, and have a very Merry Christmas HCC788 and family!
Some of those Gold heads Steel Brigade go for 500-700$-2000$ crazy expencive
Christmas episode!!!!!!!!! 🎄🎅
You said rare....& you werent kidding!! Great fig to wrap up 2019!!
Merry Christmas my friend!! & a happy new year to you & yours!!
Happy birthday susan
Nice was wondering where ric flair was.
Good review of an ok figure.
Happy birthday Susan
Thank you!
I have done the mail order for one back in 1991
You, rock bro.👑💪🏿
I was waiting for Mrs. HCC to say what's that?
The figures gold paint held up great for an almost 20-year-old paint job
Have a great Christmas and I look forward to your videos in 2020
Cool video..I have a AFA 90 Gold Head
Sent away for this figure. It never made it to me and I was very disappointed
I absolutely love this channel
Lmao I love the intro
Keep crushing it, love your reviews, awesome spouse shout out too! Appreciate what you're doing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I had this figure! Wonder if I still have it somewhere. If I still have it, It's in excellent condition still, and I probably still have the gun and backpack!
Lol what an intro!!!
Awesome intro! I had no idea there was a gold version. I still have mine but he's in dire need of a new O ring. I'm not sure where my file card is. I remember he was Special Forces and had both karate and computer training. He was always carrying around Mainframe's computer basically replacing him lol.
Greatest... Intro... Ever...
And Happy Birthday Mrs. HCC!
Excellent review as usual, from a visual perspective alone V1 looks like ground forces and V2 looks like naval or air forces.
Great intro. Great score!!
HCC788: (starts dancing in place)
Me: Bathroom's down the hall. First door on the left. 😀
Nice
Happy Birthday Susan
I have that toy. Hasbro sent me 2 by mistake in 1993.
Brilliant intro!
HapPy BirFday!!
If you go after this figure, remember the words of Spock: "After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true."
I'm pretty sure only the lower arms come from Grand Slam/Flash. Their upper arms would have had sculpting that is absent on the Steel Brigade figures
Grand Slam/Flash only had extra sculpting on the upper arms in the straight arm versions, the swivel arms just had patches of red paint instead of sculpted padding.
As expensive as the gold headed figure is. You would think it's made from gold
The 2005 Unreleased Joecon Gold Head Steel Brigade with a green top and white pants. How much do you guys think its worth?
@Man of Action I mean the "Unreleased Pre-Production" joecon 2005 Green top, white pants, green boots version gold head SB, not the regular 2005 joecon gold head SB or 2005 silver head SB both with the greyish clothes. Not those 2. This is rare Unreleased figure Im talking about. Most people don't collect or know about this figure. Its more rare then the tiger force steel brigade that goes for over 2k.
Happy b-day to your wife! As for action figure, colors too garish for my liking but that's G.I. Joe of the 90s.
Awesome review but wow wee on them prices for this one, yikes!
I so jealous man good for you.
So if I’m sitting here with one, where’s a good place to sell it?
Would you consider this an army builder? I would, except for the helmet
I wonder if you can track down the boy (now man) whom that figure belonged to.
Can you do the bild your own cobra figure please
What's the rarest GI Joe ever?
