I met Joe about 2 years ago. He was living in an old box truck that he turned into a cozy little home. Unfortunately he was evicted from the land he was squatting on, and his box truck home was torn down.
I asked Joe last year what his future plans were, and he said he wanted to get a scooter with a trailer. When the people at Hoverfly offered to send me an e-bike, Joe was the first thing I thought of.
Now that he has the e-bike, Joe is using it to get around more. He can go shopping, and use it for canning. He is able to cover much more area than when he was pushing a shopping cart around town.
